As in reality I would presume it varies between each system how many planets there are, and even less so how many immediately habitable ones there are.

As for the number of stars, I guess that depends on the density of your original hex and the visible star clusters of the hex you're taking.

Yeah, it is a bit much, considering the Milky Way contains 100-400 billion stars - a single hex contains between 166,666,666.67 stars on the high end, to 416,666.67 on the low end. That being said, sure, Canuckland can expand into six different hexes if he likes, but he won't control them very well. He'll only have a presence, and a small-scale one at this point. It will take a lot of time and effort to secure any real control over an entire hex.

Hey guys.
Made my first RP. It's about a shuttle getting lost, because of a gate malfunction. The crew doesn't know where they are and now tries to get back home. But what they will encounter, they don't know. If you like to join, tell me here or TG me and don't bring your whole star-killing-fleet stuff^^
This is intended to become a character RP with small groups.

For this hex, five planets, with three to four moons each. Only one has a liveable climate.

Hobb - I think we need an Admin ruling on what comprises a hex. Because the realistic numbers would put it way too large for anyone to realistically control while Arcerion's number has it waayyy too low. So, what will it be generally?

Also, when I get my rifle armaments created I'll make a comprehensive factbook with all of my military equipment. As per your other request: Emergence.

Guys, thoughts. What if I changed my armies to sue military-styled medieval weapons. So energy swords, shields, and crossbows. This is going against my current arsenal of plasma weapons.

I would say your men would get mowed down before they got within range to use said weapons.

On a boarding aspect, though, this could potentially be more effective, but I'm not optimistic as to how much.

Good call. The medieval style weaponry sounds cool but in practise would most likely be horribly impractical.

Violet=We pose more of a threat to them than they do to us
Indigo=Little threat
Blue=Potential danger
Green=Direct threat, some action required
Yellow=Armed combat/war initiated
Orange=Full war declared, main military priority is ending threat
Red=Annihilation of one side is necessary for the other to survive

(used by police and national guard):

5=No threat
4=Surveillance required
3=Criminal
2=Armed repeat offender
1=Immediate danger to public
02=Armed repeat offender, lethal force authorized
01=Immediate danger to public, lethal force to be used

Green=Barely any to no danger
Yellow=Mild threat
Orange=Very unsafe
Red=Immediate danger
Scarlet=Widespread danger to everyone

Don't worry, nothing will be so different that a retcon will be in place. I've not taken too large a part in the RPs going on right now.

It will be the second change I believe. And the first one was a slight population/species change. I've felt uncreative and bored with that first selection so I'm just going to mix it up a bit and replace it with something easier to RP.
