Basically the Chivalric Order went into Canuckland and started demanding they convert. Canuck's defense force opened fire, at which point the Order declared war, and that's looking to heat up, with the Coalition starting to supply Canuck with more modern weapons. Meanwhile, the Order declared war on the Jakavin, thinking they'd be easy as hell to convert and conquer. Little do they know that the Coalition is looking for a reason to pick a fight with the Order, and a poor, defenseless race getting attacked is perfect justification...

Seems Canuck has become a pawn in two larger player's games..

So, am I correct in assuming that this sums up all the current warfare in the galaxy at the moment?

We are, for now. We'll get him up to our level once this war is over, but for now he's going to have to deal with surplus. We're going to want what he has that we don't. Namely shields on our regulars, and a few other sciences like working plasma weapons. And when you do manage to topple Mattah, by that point we'll have fought you at the Jakavin Crusade, and will be ready both morally and economically to engage you in open war over the Canuckian systems.
