Just some Tarquinium Defensive Units.

Cool, what distinguishes it from the actual thunderer?
It maintains several individual point defence weapons, is larger (to accomadate the Helasian's large size) and is equipped with energy shielding typical of armoured Helasian units. It also uses munitions I personally thought of.

The Nuclear Fist wrote:I have a nation made up of a species that is slowly dying from diseases brought on through Eldritch Abominations/genetic manipulation that only keeps its numbers up through the cloning of spare parts and the artificial creation of new members of a population. Their lives would be miserable and short, but they spend their lives in powered suits that keep their bodies in a specialized chemical cocktail that slows the decay. For the wealthier ones, it puts their body in a stasis field that permanently pauses the decay. The general idea is that they used to be a large, powerful empire, but its golden age is long behind it. The empire is slowly collapsing in on itself and they're the only ones who refuse to see that. I base the appearance of their military things off of World War One technology.
If I ever get the chance to bring a second nation into FAR, I'll use them.

The Nuclear Fist wrote:The general idea is for the empire itself to represent the race as a whole. Just as the race itself is dying, so is the empire. On a good day, they're likely to maintain a level population. But it is slowly shrinking, as the genetic code they clone from is getting 'tapped out' and corrupted. So as they lose more and more worlds to simple population loss, their borders contract.

I actually was planning on doing that, but I just chose the Imperial Guard instead because of how cool they are for fending off, like, 8 or 9 alien races every single day to defend the Imperium.

Eh, I was generally going to be basing my idea for a Greenskin nation off of an idea I had based on a lost tribe of Krorks.

Interesting. What about their social constructs? Have they become decadent, stagnant, and pointless like in most collapsing empires?
