Their ratio of damage:expense, as well as cost:use is irrationally high.

Except for the lasers I use, they cost a lot[but we just force people to make them, we force people to mine shit for expensive shit, we're the damned government...I know, I know, it is a bad idea!] but they are useful. We also have planetary Glassing lasers if we need to glass a planet, but those are only on Capital ships/Dreadnaughts!

So what are good/popular weapons?

I use, on land, Crystalline weapons that explode when coming in contact with biological tissue, rendering whatever they explode on full of shrapnel, not dissimilar to the Needler from the Haloverse. In space, plasma and immense amounts of coiled energy are employed on Transoxthraxian starships that allow them to render one's shields ineffective rapidly before damaging the ships themselves.

I think it would be interesting to get away from the massive scale RP of FAR and go for a smaller one-world character-based RP. I hope you look at it and give me some tips on rules, the plot and other stuff! It could even intertwine with FAR II, which would be cool. It would be a mini-series in FAR II if accepted and take place on a world ruled by humans, here is the link!(It would be a character-based RP placed inside of FAR II though not interfering with the actual galactic events of FAR II). If it is not accepted as part of FAR II I think you would still be interested in it! Trans told me to bring it up with 'da council, anyways, link below!

How about Neodymium glass for your laser? It is capable of putting out megajoules and terawatts! It is high-powered on the terawatt scale, in the future this could be expanded upon and superweaponized for Glassing lasers!
