It would stand for civil rights and liberties and an end to discrimination based on species etc. , and would be open to all nations regardless of government form as long as they strove for these ideals.

I've been thinking about this for a while now.
Considering (from my POV) that Nationstates holds a variety of nations, alternative historical nations, geographical region-based nations, and era-related nations such as galactic civilizations. Most nations I've seen are Western/Communist nations, with a few galatic imperial nations. Would anyone be interested in creating a "South Asian and Eastern Asian" economical and political alliance. This includes Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, Khahakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankian, Pakistani etc. (you get the idea). Dunno what to call it yet and dunno who's on board. I'm not a great flag maker and I'm a below-decent constitution writer. What do y'all think?

I have been really wanting to do a small war RP where the stakes aren't big but could lead to larger implications between me and another nation in the future. So like a series of tensions and wars between Adomme and another nation. Eventually this could lead to a major incident. My first idea is that since Adomme is a island nation and wanting to expand to land connected to mainland attacks a small port trying to claim it as an Adomme port leading to a small war where the outcomes could be a full retreat or the small port being Adomme territory. Anyways if anyone is interested or has ideas on how our two nations can become enemies TG me or reply thank you.

Hi guys! I'm currently looking into forming this nation and interesting onsets and such. I'm currently left with two options, for which I'd like to gauge interest so that I know that I'll have some people to roleplay with when it comes to that.

The ideas are:

• The People's Republic of Galantan, a communist collection of states on it's last legs. Corruption is rampant, shortages happen often (and in some cases without need, thanks to the black market and corruption) and the nation is seeing it's equipment getting older and older, as production numbers are a fraction of the official numbers. Leadership has a big personality cult, white elephants are more of a rule than an exception when it comes to constructions and all that good stuff that happens when communism turns sour. Through some scandal or hardliners or embargoes due to the state having unsavory means to earn hard currency or whatever, the nation has had little trade and such with the outside world. Depending on the nations joining in, the People's Republic could get back on it's feet, split up, turn into a democracy or something else completely.
• The Kingdom of Galantan, a quaint nation in some corner of the world. Nice waters, good beaches and a lot of those other things vacationers look for have made it a natural vacation spot. With tourism capacity slowly reaching it's reasonable ceiling, the nation is looking for new sources of income so that they aren't forced to concrete every single free space. People live a good life but aren't extremely wealthy, rural areas tend to be empty during tourist season as the villagers earn their salaries for most of the year. With the death of childless King Kolat Kremon, last of the Kremonan Dynasty, the future of the nation is split between right-wing Traditionalist Nobles (not exactly a unified group, more individuals with a unified goal), Aostians (members of the pro-modernizing Aosti dynasty and like-minded nobles), the Red Fleet (a small communist group started by Christo Gilsos, an ex-shipping magnate turned commune leader in the mountains) and the Iron Falcon, a far-right group that was founded as a counter to the Red Fleet and currently funded by the more extreme Traditionalist Nobles.

Replies to this post in regards to interest are of course great, telegrams would also be nice (especially when you want to discuss possible ties between the nations and such). It's not going to be a 'whichever idea gets the most interest will win' but more a 'whichever gives the most interesting possibilities and possible roleplayers' kind of thing, as that's most important in the long run.
