"You should know by now the basics of the conflict by now. Under pressure from their lords and with the idea that the council of heirs had taken power from me the lower classes of the north started fighting against the government. Their is also some true antigovernment sentiment in the area do to the high taxes that have been needed to rebuild the nation after the events of 9 years ago. They have been receiving funding from the Lords of the region that wish to take power from me and the council and seize it for them selves. Currently they have strong holds in Dal city, Marder AFB and it's surrounding areas, and the heavy industry of the Azor Prime industrial development area. When we moved to retake Azor Prime our armor and logistics was bogged down by early and heavy rains. The rebels then used the air power from Marder to destroy our armor and most of our logistics. Our troops became trapped in the north with very little support. After taking heavy losses they managed to pull back to defense positions in the north eastern mountains. Since then the rebels have had free reign over the north west. They have been forcing a very strict version of Amarrian Religious law in the area with a strong focus on the dominance of men and the importance of the nobility, while undermining the power of the Council. We estimate their forces to be at approximately 100,000-135,000 guerillas, 10,000 formal troops, 500 MBTs, 1200 AFVs, and around 600 aircraft. They are dug in quite well. Lastly during an ambush of a main funder of the rebels we found in his convoy 2 20Kt nuclear warheads. We think that those were the largest of their arsenal but we have 4 2.5Kt warheads and a 10Kt still unaccounted for in the region. These are our first priority, though we believe the rebels would be very reluctant to use the warheads, as they would find their popular support vanishing. We can't discount a false flag operation against their people, however that is almost as unlikely. Are there any questions?"

General Avallias turned his head to notice the new arrivals on the throne room. He rose and made his way over to Commander Samuel Martin. General Avallias snapped a forty-five degree salute to him. All the while mesuring him as an equal soldier.
" General Avallias, of Our Illustrious Leaders armed forces. I will considar it an honor to fight along sid you. This is my number two, Leautennant Comander Yasstab Dexotali."
His salute was near to the Generals.
" Commander, I wish to lias with your number two as well. Just point me in the right direction."

"The honor is mine general. Please, my second is Guardian Lieutenant Rogers. Of course we are not here in a particularly official capacity. All of our and of the Chrome Legion's operations here must be black ops. Most people in this nation still hate us, and our involvement would serve to only weaken the Empress further. We are however stopping the forces of Martilia from supporting the rebels. We have positioned a number of ships to intercept anyone they try to send. So far we have heard no word back from them."
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven—
All’s right with the world!

hi!

Somewhere off the Ocean - 19th Soviet Fleet
BMS Olivarez - Uzunaga-class Command Ship

Hundreds of ships navigate through the empty ocean towards Amarr and one could resemble it to the fleet that invaded Allanea during the First May Day War from the sky, although there are only a handful of capital ships. One of them is BMS Olivarez, an Uzunaga-class Command Ship the newest and state-of-the-art command ship of the navy, where Grand Field Marshal Joshua Salvador commands the entire SMAFA[1] including the 19th Soviet Fleet.

Salvador is a tall and dark man in his mid-40s and a hardcore smoker. He always brings a pack of cigars on his military expeditions and official trips anywhere, even right now where he is sitting down at his own office and smoking a Martilian cigar. Suddenly, one of the communications officer rushed into his office saluting him, "Sir!"

"At ease, Officer. What brings you here?", Salvador asks as he continues to smoke his cigar.

"Sir, message from the Decagon"[2], the officer gives Salvador a piece of paper but instead of accepting it he responded, "Read it for me, Officer.", he quickly opened the folder and started to read the message.

Code: Select all
ENCRYPTION: VERY HIGH
TO: SMAFA

<START> ENEMY SHIPS SPOTTED WITHIN AMARRIAN WATERS, EXPECT HEAVY NAVAL RESISTANCE. NO EXACT NUMBERS AVAILABLE <END>

"That's all, sir.", Salvador stood up and made his last puff before leaving the office and went towards the COC[3]. As soon as he entered at the COC[3] he quickly shouted, "We're now on CODE RED! Notify all of our ships within the fleet including our air groups.". Naval officers and seamen started to scramble to their designated battle stations in all ships from frigates to cruisers, and carriers to battleships as they continued to navigate towards Amarr.

1 - Soviet Martilian Forces to Amarr
2 - some intelligence are given to the Decagon first before disseminating to the designated units
3 - Command Operations Center

We could send strike teams to kidnap the members of the Council of Heirs. That would prove to demoralize the people, and destabilize the troops. Cut the head off the snake as it were. A question, why did you not ask for foreign aid?

They have been receiving funding from the Lords of the region that wish to take power from me and the council and seize it for them selves.

This will be more difficult to deal with, as lords tend to be much better protected than your average Coucil member.
Currently they have strong holds in Dal city, Marder AFB and it's surrounding areas, and the heavy industry of the Azor Prime industrial development area

Well, all I have to say for that is fixed fortifications are monuments to the stupidity of man. When great mountains and vast ocians can be overcome, walls can not even hope to compete.

. When we moved to retake Azor Prime our armor and logistics was bogged down by early and heavy rains. The rebels then used the air power from Marder to destroy our armor and most of our logistics. Our troops became trapped in the north with very little support.

We have light tanks and drop craft if need be.

After taking heavy losses they managed to pull back to defense positions in the north eastern mountains. Since then the rebels have had free reign over the north west.

Do these troops need resuplied or evacuated? What are their numbers? How many wounded or dead?

They have been forcing a very strict version of Amarrian Religious law in the area with a strong focus on the dominance of men and the importance of the nobility, while undermining the power of the Council.

We do not have the authority to impose religeous values or laws, nor can we enforce them. I apologize your highnesses it is strict Lutvikkian law.

O.K. as for the hukes we have an NBC team standing by. Wgat are their current approzimate locations? Next, the armor, how much is fully operational, and how much damaged? What is their long range capeability? And lastly. What kind of troop moving capeability do they have?

"Commander Martin," Dexotali took his hand, and then turned to Rogers. "Sir, my respect."
General Avallias looked at Commander Martin.
" Well with your permission, and with his higness Natiffs leave, we will pair up our ewspective SpecOps teams and get to work on capture of as many Council of Heirs as we can snatch. What say you?"
The general had a grin play accross his face breifly.
"I must admit, you have me at a disadvantage. How, no, what prompted you to come to their aid, given your history. And the general anomosoty they feel?"
