Ambush Site
The remaining men were walking back to what was left of the convoy. There was dead bodies all over the ground, both NEMA and militia. NEMA had won this round but would they win the next? A new convoy came up to secure the area and make a little base there and a couple checkpoints in the city. There was green smoke signaling the Black Hawks to land. The men were being airlifted back to the base, their mission was over. There was 22 NEMA men dead, counting the A-10 pilots who also died in the air. There was at least 30 wounded that would be brought to the medical center at the base.

"since your men are in the milita Zone already we are ready to attack when you are..we alrady have a squad in the battle thats in the hands of your forces and your CO is doing fine to repel the attack the only problem is that, if we fail, we may need to use the same Oxygen bombs in the zone that destoryed our nation" Sgt wind said with a sad tone and a face that shows no fear, "if thats the measure we must take your forces and Cpt tylins will be lost"

"Alright, we will attack in three days from now. That will give us enough time to get men ready and to make a battle plan."

"Men, huddle up, we are going to be attacking a major city near by in three days. Now look, do you remember the battle that took place today?" They nodded their heads. "Well we are attacking that city, we already have an outpost near the city so we will move from there. I want that whole city taken, understand?"
"Yes sir!" The men ran out the room, to go brief their men.

No sir, three days will not suffice...we must make our move now!!" sgt wind says "if we dont it will be either us or them..my planes are already fuled and tanks and troop prepared we are doing a blitzkreige strategy to the frontlines of the militia forces..and if that fails we are going to use the bonmbers to blow it up. we will get our land back one way or another! i will not have my country put up with this turtmoil any more...Sgt wind was a very patriotic man when he said that..it put some anger into the other republican sgts heads as they wanted there country to be back to normal as well..

"Fine, how about we move at nightfall. I can't get all my men mobilized right now but I will try to get them to the frontlines as fast as I can. There is already an outpost near the city, so they will start the attack."

as the republic and the imperial ewa forces started moving in, the fighting was firece! republican tank brigadges that were on the west flank moved in. they took out the Milita artillary units that was bombarding the middle field of 3 mixed brigades of half tracks/paratroopers/ and military squads with the imperial forces chraged threw to expand the front. on the east side the other tankbrigages met with heavy resistance and could not move easily. this brought a skyrocketing death toll to the flank on the east. the republic and the imperial forces in the middle made significant progress and gained about 400 civi minutemen and half of the militia hot zone. there were reaching Nex, Catpitol city where the biggest resistance was met as that was the hottest zone in the war.

The Black Hawks landed, and the men jumped out into the city. Shooting anybody with a gun aimed at them. The Abrams moved up through the streets shooting up buildings and supporting the troops on the ground. The men would go to every block killing every single enemy. The Apache helicopters raining hell on the enemies from above. Firing hellfire missiles and it's rocket pods, careful not to shoot friendlies. There was also an AC-130 waiting on standby up above.
"This is Cpl. Michaels, we need your AC-130 to fire at coordinates 34.6, 56.3, now!"
The AC-130 moved above the coordinates and lined up it's guns. And then BOOM! All hell broke loose on the ground. A couple buildings went down and plenty of enemies died. Soon after that, 4 Apache gunships flew by to secure the area up ahead along with 7 humvees, 4 strykers and 4 Abrams. With a platoon of soldiers also.

sgt winds new platoon was donig the same, killing everyperson they could find. they ran into the old capitol building to take cover from the tanks that the apaches were taking out. Sgt wind stopped for a minute just to take a look around and started to to think to himself "by god, this is what it all came down to, a nation were the dead are not buried and our constatution just now chared up into flaky pieces of paper. men used to make laws here, now they are gone"
A huge explosion caused a tank brigade from the milita to be blown up.
Sgt wind collected himself "keep going men, this is our nation, we shall take it back!!"
the east flank finally made it to Nex city just in time to give enough support for the middle line to be kept intact. the militia men were almost dead and then the republic could work on their last enemy when the militia is gone, the sepratists to the east.

Suddenly, a stinger appeared out of nowhere. It was aiming for the Apache that was in the middle of the street, just hovering. The pilot saw it and tried to evade it, it was going to be hard with all these buildings around. He swerved from street to street, taking fire from below. Finally, it had the chance to pop flares, and then the stinger swooshed down to the flares and blew up. The apache then went back to the fight.

Williams St.
The column of tanks was moving up the street.
"Gunner! Two-Story building, front window, fire!" The tank shook back while the round left the barrel. The round struck the building, shaking it widly. After about 2 more rounds the 15-story building fell. Along with the militia inside it.
The soldiers were marching up to a big open area, probably a park. At the end of the park was a national library and musuem.
They were singing the Ewa Beach National Anthem. They were marching on the sidewalks and the column of tanks were on the road in between the soldiers. The Apaches were right above them all. This would be a big and important battle and would greatly affect what happens next.

block by block, the republican forces reached to what was know as the war building. once again sgt wind's forces took cover from the Heavy fire ahead of them. he started thinking to himself again "so.this is what war trully dose to you. you think your strong ,but when it comes no is around to support it. its like the military is the only left in this place."
On the Ground Republican tanks were providing cover for the men and shooting at the buildings. "This is it. the factions are fleeing and coming together into one massive pile where the final fortess is been, BASE 451. Base 451 was one of the most secured and most heaviy fortifed bases in the nation that was always prepared for this type event if desolation would lay waste to the many cities.
Above republican f-4 choppers were racing toward Base 451, where met with SAMS and anti air flank. Tanks were met by rocket auto stingers guided missle laughers and the men were met with stationary 50 cal machine guns. this was gonna be one hell of a test

The crew on the deck of the ARNS Enterprise was the first to see the port they had been bombarding for hours. They had stopped using missiles and started using their main gun when they got into range to save ammunition. The harbor of Nex was in flames, and only partially from the Navy's cruise missiles. Normally High Command ignored uprisings in countries of all kinds, however this one was different. The Ardent and her battle group, including the Enterprise, had been reassigned from their regional patrol when contact was lost with the Atreidondian embassy there.

The 29 ship flotilla was anchored off shore, with only the Enterprise venturing into the burning harbor for now. Her massive structure dwarfed the LCAC's she was escorting. It would be a nightmare for the marines. Cargo ships of all kind were still moored, many still intact. The first LCAC's landed, with the tank inside opening fire almost as soon as it rolled off the ramp. A small structure, probably a customs house or security checkpoint, exploded as a high explosive round detonated inside it.

Three hours later

The sight of small shacks exploding had become a regular sights for everyone in range, from the helicopter pilots flying close air support to the tankers themselves loading and shooting off the rounds. The armor had landed first, both for intimidation and to clear up for space on the ships' loading decks for the combat engineer's equipment. The MCA-7E's were now patrolling the perimeter of the Marines' three block safe zone at the North end of the harbor. The engineers were hard at work, doing everything from detonating warehouses to constructing helipads. The Marines had secured their position, although satellite intelligence warned them to dig in, and fast.

It was all peacefull at the park. Not a sound.
"Damn, where is everybody?" One soldier said. "Hey, what's that sound? It sounds like a mort...BOOM!"
The mortars started dropping down like rain. The apaches quickly noticed and flew foward to find out where the mortar positions were. The men on the ground took cover and saw the militia running out of the library and the museum. The Abrams in front of the column took one shot. It landed right in the door of the museum, killing all that were trying to get out. The door that was once white was now red. The Apaches found the mortar positions and started opening fire on them, killing them instantly.

The men took cover in buildings and and behind destroyed cars, opening fire whenever they could. "You, private go up in that building and start sniping these bastards." "yes sir!"
The Sgt. then took aim with his M4 and shot a enemy right in the chest 2 times. "Hell ya! Take that you evil sons of bitches!"
The militia were hiding behind bences and trees but could not escape the deadly tanks and apaches from above.

Can I join?Ok,uh,some cops from my country-only twelve-are coming over.They're from Nx401 and just came to see the excitement of battle.They have Mini-Uzis and MA41 assault rifiles,along with a grenade launcher.Just for a fight..in case.

They're in a boat flotilla.Commander Bokkell saw land and then sparks and flashes-they'd come to the right place. "Prepare for a very lead-filled party,men!"They cheered. "Got the beers?"asked Private Athenia. "Yup-they'll be sorry they ever stayed behind!"The boats floated casually through the water.At the same time,they saw an Apache ambush some troops on land. "Shoot-those guys just got smeared!"
In ten more minutes,they came to land and crept to a hill.They sat there,laughing,drinking,and looking at the battle while some others patrolled.

IC:The fire that the was spewing out was getting hotter and heavier. Many twin barrell tanks were destoryed along with many f-4 choppers that were shooting at them. Sgt wind's brigades were getting beat up.
"Where are my f-7 raptors! we need air support stat!"
"Roger sgt wind..Eta 5 min.." said the communication sargent over the radio
"hell if it would be" said Sgt wind irately" fire was becoming intense and to the west, the imperial forces were getting closer and closer to reaching the base after chasing the last of the militia members who werent already at the base
"Thank god, help as arrived!"

Massive vessels of steel, stretching for miles about, the ships of the Federation boomed towards Nx401 with the purpose of ending this war, once and for all.

Vast legions of soldiers, clad in armor, handed the finest weapons NS would allow, and given the best training the Federation could afford rode vehicles of steel, which bellowed fiery death from their cannons.

Soe idiot in the group blasted at a nearby gazebo after drenching it in beer and gasoline.He got burned along with two other men.Actually,a man and a woman.Athenia yelled, "Commander Bokkell,we have tangos!"He groaned. "Take it back to the boats,call Colorado for help.Gordinel,Lajebi,follow me."Two officers followed him.They jogged down the hill,followed by three others.
Onboard the East Catalinan frigate Colorado,the comm manager recieved a message for help.He told two squadrons to get moving.Two minutes later,twenty-four others arrived,because nobody knew it was one of their own,and that he was drunk.But they were onward anyway.

There was again dead bodies all over the park. The park was clear, but the library and the museum (which was half destroyed from tank fire) were still occupied with the militia. The men would secure the library first, since it was closer. They all lined up near the door.
"Malecks, plant the charges on the door." Sgt. Michaels said. Malecks grabbed something out of his pocket and planted on the door, pushed a couple buttons and then stood back. "1...2...3.." The door blew up on three. The men went in quick shooting the men inside without them even knowing. They went through all the rooms, halls and floors. Clearing the whole building.
Then they moved to the museum, but decided not to move in because it could collapse. "Echo 3, this is Golf 5, open fire on the museum. Over."
"Roger that, Golf 5, we are clear to open fire on the museum." The Abrams know as Echo 3 aimed it's gun at the museum, planning to take it down. "Gunner, fire!" The loud boom could be heard from all across the park and possibly all across the city. It wasn't the museum blowing up but the tank blowing up. Three migs flew above shooting the soldiers. The migs belonged to the militia and they were blowing apart my men. Sgt. Michaels was hit, "Medic! Medic!" He yelled, soon after a medic, also wounded, came over and sat him down against a wall. He ripped open his shirt and saw all the blood. It was a shrapnel wound, a big one, all over his chest. The medic knew what would happen, no matter what he tried, Michaels wouldn't make it. He still acted as if Michaels would make it though so the men's moral wouldn't drop. "Whats your name soldier?" Michaels asked. "I..I'm Cpl. Lance, sir." "Lance, tell my family, what happened here, tell the world what happened here. We helped take control of Nex and we did a damn good job. Tell them that." His eyes slowly dropped and his grip on Lance's hand loosened. Some say he went to a better place, I say he left a better place, the place he loved the most.

The musuem fell to the ground, our forces moved up. "Past the musuem and past the library, onto the capitol. We would take it in Sgt. Michaels honour. For him and for Ewa." Cpl. Peterson was sitting on the library steps talking to all the men remaining, trying to get his men's moral up. Sgt. Michaels was airlifted back to the NEMA Base where he would be flown back to Ewa Beach to be buried.

The rinforcements arrived after they put the beer back in the boats.Their commander,Jenus,looked at them with discontent. "We're here to check out the situation,not have a beer party."Officer Tanno sighed. "Commander Jenus,we didn't know they were going to attack."But the commander rolled his eyes and told her to get moving.They and an armored truck with mounted SMGs on it headed to the park.Commander Borell(I forgot his name partially,it could be Borelli or something with a B) was halfway down the hill when Athenia called him:"Reinforcements here sir,moving to the park."He replied, "Copy,heded parkward as well.Hope nobody gets killed like Sam and Francine did-blown up by the enemy."But Athenia said,"private Harisol was drunk-he blew the gazebo up." The commander said, "S@#$!"Then he reconsidered, "We'll be in the park just to check on anything...enemy-ey."She answered, "Roger."

Silently, efficiently, the landing craft of the Invasion Fleet landed on the beacheads, and silently the soldiers and vehicles got off the beach onto the ground proper, where they set up a camp to get ready for the assault the next day.
