"I know Aurora, and that is why I wanted to wait for all of you to awaken before I spoke up. I have been thinking heavily and I think it would be best for the family for the four of you to head back to St. Petersmarch and help relocate our family to somewhere safer. I fear that in the near future even St. Petersmarch will not be safe from this war." As Tiberius finished, he noticed his other mates beginning to wake up as he waited for a response from Aurora.

"I won't leave you in the middle of this Tiberius. I will leave your side." She said with determination in her voice.

"Aurora, I am not leaving it as a matter of choice for you to decide upon with the others. The four of you are going back home and thats........" Before Tiberius could finish the last of his statement, he felt the ground tremble enough to knock him off of his feet. Looking up above him, Tiberius noticed a large beam of white energy shooting across the sky as it made it's way out towards the ocean, it's final destination unknown to Tiberius or the others.

As the small patrol began their mission, Francis did take notice of some of the new Warforge that were beginning to populate their own camp. While he would normally take the time to further observe the new Warforge and try to find the commanding officer of them, Francis wanted to get his recon mission underway as he knew that by daybreak his forces would begin another bombardment of the outer edges of the Elvish Capital before moving inward. After some hiking and dodging some outer patrols, Francis and his daughter made it to one of the outlying recon posts to observe the Elvish Capital before them. Taking their respective spots, the team began to gather more data and observe the section of the city below them as Francis stood guard on the watch for anything suspicious.

As Francis watch over the recon team. Akordia watch her father actions. Trying to learn more. Little did she and the rest of them know there was some else out there. Observing their moves. A Imperial sniper. A Elven marksmen trained to kill targets and lay destruction. He was in the ruble hundreds of yards away. He was sighting his target. As fate would have it, Francis was blocked from his sights, but not a Steel Guard near Akordia. The sniper aimed and shot with his magically silence .50 cal sniper rifle. The bullet hit dead on target and decapitated the poor human. Blood splashed over Akordia causing her to scream.

Upon hearing Akordia's screams, Francis's senses went into overdrive has he ordered his squad to take cover before tackling his daughter to the ground to protect her. Seeing the dead Steel Guard next to Akordia and the injury that caused the death, Francis could see that they were up against an Elvish Sniper and would probably be soon discovered by other patrols because of Akordia's screaming. Silencing everyone in the group for a moment, Francis activated his new equipment with his new implants. Now seeing with night vision and inferred and with magic sense, Francis was able to carefully spot the sniper and several patrols heading their way. Laughing a bit to himself, Francis laid out a quick plan to his squad and to Akordia. "Akordia, you are going to stay here with the squad and provide them with magical assistance as we have several patrols heading our way now. I will be back in a few moments, but if worst comes to worst, I want you all to get back to camp. Now, prepare yourselves." With that, in a moment's notice, Francis dimply vanished in-front of Akordia's and the squads eyes as he stealthily made his way towards the sniper.

Charles had been nearing the section of the palace with the quarters for the Swords of the Empire, taking care to not be seen, when he had to take a detour to avoid being spotted by one of the sterner, older maids who would be much more likely to believe he was up to no good and send him to his room to study schoolwork. Finally evading the middle-aged woman, Charles was about to go back on his way to the knight's compound when he saw Marina approaching him. He figured he didn't have time to get out of the hallway before the girl spotted him, and there was the slight hope he held that she wasn't holding a grudge about yesterday's events.

"Hello Marina," He called out, walking up to his younger sister calmly, smiling a little, noticing she seemed concerned about something. "Is everything alright?"

Seeing Charles, Marina quickly ran over to her older brother as she wanted to show Charles the strange lights off in the distance coming from her view in her room. Hugging Charles for a few moments, Marina then spoke up to her older brother. "Charles.......I need you to come with me back to my room now, big brother. There are strange lights off in the far distance of the city that I can see but I do not know what they are. Can you help me please?" As Marina waited for an answer, she had already began pulling Charles back into the direction of her room as she was now getting scared of what those lights were.

OOC: Const talk to Elven about what the lights are as it is playing into getting the Steel Imperium to fully commit to the war.

"Oh alright, alright, don't get bloody hysterical," Charles responded as his sister tugged on his arm. "Though I'm not sure what I'll be able to do about them. Perhaps they're just falling stars or something?"

The prince entered Marina's bedroom, glancing out the window towards the lights in the distance. "Well, I don't see a trail or anything, so I suppose it isn't a falling space object...well, this is certainly an interesting dilemma.

The Constannian nodded gravely as Sakura talked about the ancient Adantasi, a gentle and diplomatic lost civilization. He took a few moments to think of answer as the princess asked him where he saw himself in the future.

"Fifty years? My, that's certainly a long way away, but I suppose I'd be retiring soon, if I hadn't already. Hopefully I'd have achieved a spot as a Sky Admiralty Lord, though I'd be fine with not being High Lord Admiral. Hopefully I'd have grandchildren by then, perhaps even great-grandchildren. I'd have a nice country estate, with gardens, though they wouldn't all be the formal, fancy sort-I'd want somewhere where my grandchildren could play outside. Preferably it would be in Colstallia, in the Kensendon Highlands, though I wouldn't mind anywhere in the Holy Fatherland as long as it doesn't get too hot or unbearably rainy. I don't fancy myself a Calestan swamp-lord," he replied. "Why, what about you, princess?"

"Well fifty years is not much to a Elf. I will live probably another at least another nine hundred years. But to put that in context. I'd hope to find someone to fall in love with by then and perhaps start to raise a family. Thats if I get the choice. My brother will respect my freedom, but the nobility will pressured me to marry. Some will hope to ally themselves with the royal line. Others just out of hope my marriage can aid the kingdom. In all I doubt in 50 years I will be single."

Listening to Feren, Tiberius was made clear that this weapon that the Elves had just used was something to be reckoned with as it used the power of the Sun itself to destroy the enemies that the Elfs declared as such. Upon looking at the beam further and seeing the path of were it was heading, Tiberius's heart sank as he fell to the ground realizing it wasn't heading towards any of the other Elfish Kingdoms but instead somewhere more personal and close to his heart...............home.

As both Marina and Charles looked at the bright light off in the distances of the outskirts of the Imperium Capital, both Russell and Leona had just gotten done with their last appointment of the day. As both of them headed back towards their Royal Apartments, Leona noticed as they walked by one of the large windows in the hallway a bright light off in the distance of the city. Looking at it for a moment, her heart sank as her senses realized that the light wasn't natural but instead magical. She had read the reports from the war about the weapons the Imperial Elves were using against the rebels and from what she was seeing, this was one of them heading towards them.

Without even thinking, Leona quickly turned to Russell and spoke. "Russell got get Charles and Marina and bring them down into the caverns of Dragonstone. That light off in the distance is one of those damn Elf Superweapons heading towards St. Petersmarch to destroy us. Get the kids and go I need to alert the city and try to save as many people as we can." Before Russell could say anything back, Leona was already off to send an emergency broadcast throughout the city to try to warn more people. As Leon managed to get the signal out, her eyes noticed the trailing beam behind the light as she began to flee for shelter beneath Dragonstone.

Still in stealth, Francis whispered over to his daughter. "Akordia.....its' me your father. The sniper is dead but we have about fifteen enemy soldiers trying to look for us now because of your screams. I need you to use your magic to conceal the rest of you all so we can stealthily kill the enemy without giving away our position. Can you manage that?"

Still shaking Akordia nodded and began to speak some words of Drow. A shadow moved from her and grew and swallowed the whole group. Then they faded from view.

Kolandia walk with out a sound. She extended her hand to Dimitri. It felt cold in his hands. Caluthria looked a little annoyed at Dimitri. "Is this how you solve all your problems? By bedding them?"

"No, this did seem like the only option, it was either that or our children would go fatherless." Dimitri said looking at Caluthria's stomach. He extended his other hand to Caluthria as he held Kolandia's hand

The beam of energy arced across the sky. Traveling in moments severals thousands miles. The sky above St. Petersmarch, Capital of the Imperium began to turn from night to full noon day. Then it began to get very hot and bright. Anyone in the city had to feel in doors not to burned or blinded by the light that was coming. The beam hit the city and there was enormous flash of light.

Dimitri words did nothing to quench Caluthria's fury, but his hand on her stomach did. At that moment she was calm, thinking of her unborn children. Kolandia remain aloof as she walked with them back to their camp.

As the trio got back to the camp Dimitri ordered the men to continue the march. A bit agrivated by the whole situation Dimitri went ahead of the Army, alone to think. This would also give Caluthria and Kolandia some time to talk
