"At what cost, woman". Dimitri said keeping an eye on the spell. "THe Blood elves' promises are empty, as we speak my comrades are liberateing your country from this regime. They do not wish to save the elven kind, they wish to exterminate everyone but the elvenkind."

Still a bit tired as she begun to wake up from her sleep, Marie smiled as she noticed her husband holding onto her as she smiled back. Kissing her husband lightly on the lips, Marie smiled before she spoke up. "Well........this is a surprise to say the least. If you are here that means I'm either dead or your army managed to save Durunya and myself from harms way again. Speaking of which, were is Durunya?" As Marie began to regain a better understanding from waking up, she noticed that Durunya was no where to be seen.

"Yes its funny when I am the one doing the saving. Normally its you trying to save the day." Andy said with a smile. When Marie asked her question, Andy spoke again. "She was just here. I saw her walk off when you started to wake. Maybe she got a call or something?" Andy said with a confused smile.

Watching as Vera and Akordia argued back and forth in Drow and Elven, Francis decided to take the time to get himself ready for a night mission as it seemed that was the direction the arguments were heading towards. Going through his wardrobe and other storage pins, Francis soon outfitted himself in his standard Command Field Uniform along with several of his personal weapons to get ready for the evening. By the time both Vera and Akordia were done arguing, Francis had already readied himself to head out for an assignment that would be suitable for Akordia to get a taste of experience. Seeing that Vera, Jaaera and Kyaera were upset with him, Francis just rolled his eyes as he lead Akordia out of the Steel Guard Command Center and out to an awaiting squad of soldiers.

Once outside and away from the main camp, Francis lead Akordia and a five soldier squad to the outlying perimeter of their camps' defenses before he spoke up. "Well Akordia......you wanted a taste of battle and you wanted to see your dad lead so this is what we are going to do this evening. The seven of us are going out on a patrol and recon mission to observe any weakness along the Elvish Capital's defenses for us to exploit. Since you are the magic user in the group, it is going to be your job to assist us with any magical problems we won't be able to handle. However.......I am making it clear that I am in charge and that you are only to observe unless threatened otherwise. I am not going to have your mother hate me because you might get hurt so we are going to do this mission slow and stealthily. Any questions?" As Francis waited for a response from his daughter, he quieted the other soldiers to keep their voices down as this mission was technically off the books and was not supposed to be made known to other commanders.

Akordia nodded and spoke in soft voice. "Yes father." As they began to move beyond the perimeter of their camp. Francis notice their where some new Warforge in their camp. The where made of some golden and silver material with a glass-like outer shell. The Warforge were being organized by a Sun Elf officer wearing the uniform of the new Imperial Army.

"Yes, that sounds rather splendid. I doubt Prince Maximus or the armada has some urgent need I must attend to right now, so a tour of the palace grounds would be nice," the young man replied, offering his arm for Princess Sakura.

Sakura took his arm with her own. When his expose wrist touch the expose skin of Sakura, Brinform notice her skin was as smooth as silk. The two walk down the main hall. There where displays of Steel Elf art depicting victory and triumph. As they past them, Sakura spoke. "Your culture is a warrior culture is it not?"

Resting for much of the afternoon, Tiberius would eventually awaken as it seemed that Lord Feren and Blackwing had finally come to a conclusion and plan to attack the Waystone to stop the super-weapon from being used. Stretching his limbs out, Tiberius looked out towards the high mountains off in the distance as he waited for his mates to awaken from their slumber and resting.

Aurora was the first one to waken. She walk up behind Tiberius and put her arms around him. "You sleep well my love?" She said holding him.

Still overlooking over to the vast mountain ranges that laid before him, Tiberius barley noticed Aurora until she wrapped her arms around him and began to speak. Smiling a bit, Tiberius turned around as he looked at Aurora for a bit before speaking back. "I slept just well enough not to think of the different outcomes that this forthcoming battle with this weapon we have to destroy. It still nerves me that we may not come back from this battle even if we succeed so I am a bit nerved to say the least." As Tiberius waited for a response from Aurora, he quickly glanced over to see that his other mates were still sound asleep.

Still overlooking over to the vast mountain ranges that laid before him, Tiberius barley noticed Aurora until she wrapped her arms around him and began to speak. Smiling a bit, Tiberius turned around as he looked at Aurora for a bit before speaking back. "I slept just well enough not to think of the different outcomes that this forthcoming battle with this weapon we have to destroy. It still nerves me that we may not come back from this battle even if we succeed so I am a bit nerved to say the least." As Tiberius waited for a response from Aurora, he quickly glanced over to see that his other mates were still sound asleep.

"That is why I was so admant that you breed with us. I fear we would be in this situation. I don't want our legacy to die with us on some distance battlefield far home. These aren't some minor weapons. These are Elven doomsday weapons. Weapons so terrible it not only frighten their enemies, but themselves. There is a good chance we will not return." She said grimly. Aurora held Tiberius tightly. "We all don't have to go. I know you're too stubborn to not go, but perhaps the others don't have to?"

With both Emperor Russell and Empress Leona still busy throughout the rest of the day, the young princess Marina spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon catching up on lost sleep from the night before. Waking up past three in the afternoon, the young Marina was awoken by only a strange and somewhat piercing light off in the distance of her room. Upon wakening, she quickly glanced out the large bay windows of her room to notice off in the vast distance of space a somewhat peculiar light that seemed to fix a trance on Marina. Not knowing what the light was off in the far distance of the outskirts of the capital, Marina decided to dress and roam the halls of Dragonstone as she looked for her elder brother in Prince Charles. Even though she was still angry with him, Marina knew that Charles was smarter then she was in technology and also to a lesser degree in magic; and from the looks of the light, Marina knew it was one of the two. Roaming up and down the halls, Marina searched for her brother Charles to help herself understand what was going on.

Charles had been nearing the section of the palace with the quarters for the Swords of the Empire, taking care to not be seen, when he had to take a detour to avoid being spotted by one of the sterner, older maids who would be much more likely to believe he was up to no good and send him to his room to study schoolwork. Finally evading the middle-aged woman, Charles was about to go back on his way to the knight's compound when he saw Marina approaching him. He figured he didn't have time to get out of the hallway before the girl spotted him, and there was the slight hope he held that she wasn't holding a grudge about yesterday's events.

"Hello Marina," He called out, walking up to his younger sister calmly, smiling a little, noticing she seemed concerned about something. "Is everything alright?"

Seeing Charles, Marina quickly ran over to her older brother as she wanted to show Charles the strange lights off in the distance coming from her view in her room. Hugging Charles for a few moments, Marina then spoke up to her older brother. "Charles.......I need you to come with me back to my room now, big brother. There are strange lights off in the far distance of the city that I can see but I do not know what they are. Can you help me please?" As Marina waited for an answer, she had already began pulling Charles back into the direction of her room as she was now getting scared of what those lights were.

OOC: Const talk to Elven about what the lights are as it is playing into getting the Steel Imperium to fully commit to the war.

Smiling and laughing back at her husband's earlier comments, Marie's face soon grew a bit saddened as she knew the reason why Durunya left the room when she did. Looking at Andy, Marie's eyes just saddened as she spoke up. "It's probably my fault in why Durunya just left the room as the two of us had a nasty fight when we were in the middle of the initial fight here on the plateau against the Jade forces. We were taking losses so I wanted to lead some of my men into stalling the Jade offense before our first lines were overrun. However, Durunya managed to knock me out before I could go and as a result she had us retreat away from the lines while my men died trying to protect us. I lost close to ten thousand soldiers, Andy, and my heart still aches for their losses and the loss their families are going to feel. I didn't mean to hurt Durunya, but I was so angry at her that my judgement became ill faded." As Marie finished her statement, she began to tear up over the nasty things she had called Durunya during their earlier fight.

After some hiking and dodging some outer patrols, Francis and his daughter made it to one of the outlying recon posts to observe the Elvish Capital before them. Taking their respective spots, the team began to gather more data and observe the section of the city below them as Francis stood guard on the watch for anything suspicious.

As Francis watch over the recon team. Akordia watch her father actions. Trying to learn more. Little did she and the rest of them know there was some else out there. Observing their moves. A Imperial sniper. A Elven marksmen trained to kill targets and lay destruction. He was in the ruble hundreds of yards away. He was sighting his target. As fate would have it, Francis was blocked from his sights, but not a Steel Guard near Akordia. The sniper aimed and shot with his magically silence .50 cal sniper rifle. The bullet hit dead on target and decapitated the poor human. Blood splashed over Akordia causing her to scream.

I have been thinking heavily and I think it would be best for the family for the four of you to head back to St. Petersmarch and help relocate our family to somewhere safer. I fear that in the near future even St. Petersmarch will not be safe from this war." As Tiberius finished, he noticed his other mates beginning to wake up as he waited for a response from Aurora.

As Marie finished, she found herself leaving her bed as she wanted to look for Durunya and apologize for her treatment from earlier.
