As the troops continued in the cold and rain, they were forced to fire at wild animals to protect themselves. Cavaro also flew overhead to watch out for enemy patrols. The dwarves rideing on bears kept the back of the force strengthened to prevent surprise attack. Many of the Valoronian troops were miserable, but they remembered their training in Tiberia, and to deal with the cold rather than let it stop them.

Once the army was suffiently soaked by the freezing rain. Then as if the waether was alive and trying to harm the invaders, the tempiture rapidly began to drop. Vehilces, Equipemt and people began to freeze over.

As the cold began to kill off troops Dimitri realized that the weather was not natural it was being commanded with magic, by who he did not know, but it was quite apparant that another force was working against them. Dimitri was forced to transform into his worgen state in order to keep warm. He had to figure out what to do for his men to prevent them from freezing. He found a tremendous hill eventually in the marsh and decided to form the camp around the hill with his camp at the top. The men cheered to hear they would be able to stop. they immediately made large fires which were lit by Cavaro to insure them to burn. The men changed into their winter clothing made of bear, dear, and moose hide in order to keep in heat. As Dimitri and Caluthria went into their personal tent, Dimitri changed back into his human form. He plopped onto a chair and poured himself and Caluthria a glass of vodka, "At least this can warm our hearts" Dimitri said jokingly

The weather didn't let up. Tents had to be reinforce to prevent them from collapsing. Fires had place near vehicles and equipment to prevent them from freezing over. The army was essential stopped. Inside Caluthria join Dimitri in a drink while they cuddle to get some rest.

Laughing at his wife's comments, Francis shot a quick response back. "My fault? Last time I check it was you and Amirra teaching her magic and allowing her to be much more free spirited and wild then I said. And I am not that reckless." As Francis finished his statement, he looked over to see Akordia starting to wake up from her sleep. Smiling, Francis just sat back in his chair as Vera went over and did the normal motherly duties of welcoming Akordia back up.

Akordia was now to big to pick up and carry, but she was still Vera's baby. She decided to nice and motherly to her instead of yelling and punishing her. "Akordia why did you leave the palace?" The young dark skin child said with a smile. "To help Daddy." Vera then turn to Francis for help.

Elven Civil War
The tide has turned
Siege of the Imperial Capital

Several days ago...

Elven Imperium

Munamae's Camp & Outpost

The long while of diplomatic talks had been over, and the multiple legions and armadas of the Tengoku had already marched onto the Imperial Capital. The march would be fierce as it would be, if the commanding officer was the Supreme Shogun. Munamae, however, (still) wasn't familiar with the case.

"So, this Francis guy, we're supposed to be taking orders and advises from him?"

"Yes AND no, Sir. The old army already stationed here is partly at Francis' disposal. The rest of us, who has only just arrived, has you as our commanding officer."

"I'll try t-"

The "briefing" was paused, as a very familiar-looking army approached the camp. Certainly, the important-looking figure behind wouldn't be strange to them.

"Sensei!", General-Admiral Sutherlance recognized. It was indeed his great teacher, the Supreme Shogun.

"Come. We'll talk more later."

And then, came 'later'

"... those Koreans are intelligent... So, onto that matter, what about the other wars and affairs of the Tengoku?"

"Mostly finished, with the exception of the war with the Valkans: it didn't kick off as well as I originally planned; but luckily, those Valkans weren't putting up much of a fight. We'll focus all our might on this finishing war, then we turn the guns to Valkmar and Symphonia. Sakahara already finished the affairs obtaining various useful prototypes for great weapons, but that's another story; he'll be arriving as soon as possible."

"Now that we're on the offensive..."

"Just you wait, my student. I will be steering a dragonfly robot to meet with someone, you probably knew who. The attack, though must be quick, can wait."

"Hai, Sensei."

Meanwhile

As Francis was sitting on his chair, he'd suddenly see a dragonfly flying towards his direction at a steady pace. Before he could do anything, the dragonfly would "speak":

"Ah, hello, Sir Francis. It is I, Shogun Fujiwara of the Gigaversal Busougun. Now, you probably are wondering why I managed to find you: when we were attending that summit of sorts, I already fixed a tiny microchip on the back of your neck in case I wanted to communicate once again; so now, here I am... technically. It's my sincere regret; I've been informed that you were stealthily attacked by magic. How are you feeling now?"

Through the dragonfly's camera, the Shogun could feel something strange having occurred to Francis; but he couldn't tell what.

Dimitri knew that the storm was not natural, he did not inform the troops in order to prevent a larger loss in morale. As the Army marched on DImitri found that the source of teh storm was coming from the top of a mountain only about a mile ahead of them. Dimitri decided to gather a small band to travel to the source of the storm and either or obliterate it or capture it.

"We can't stay stuck here in this ice storm, or the airships will get too damaged. Charging straight through this weather won't work that well, so we'll just ascend to high altitude. It might put a bit of a strain on the older ships, but certainly not as much as they would receive being pelted with snow and wind," Princess Cassandra stated, looking at the display of her armada and the surrounding weather system. "Send the order to the other ships of the armada, ascend to high-altitude level."

The Constannian airships began to ascend sharply, climbing higher and higher into the sky until they had risen above the clouds themselves. The sensors of the airships were still effective for detecting what lay below them from the lofty blue perch they now occupied. As for the mechanized vanguard that Prince Winston was leading, they continued making progress, since they were well-suited for extreme temperatures, though not as much as earlier on.

The Constannia tactic was successful in the sky. The fleet strained but made above the cloud line. Unfortunately many of the older ships were damaged by both the extreme weather and the strain of the climb. They would need repairs. As for the Constannia ground forces. The mechs weather the cold and snow like they did not care. The machines seal and heat system allowing the machine to function in the strange weather. Then as if responding to the fact the cold was not bothering the Constannia ground forces. The sky open up into lighting that intentional struck at the ground units locations. Several mechs were hit by direct lighting bolts.

Prince Winston grumbled a curse under his breath as the unnatural lightning bolts struck some of his forces. Nevertheless, the mechanized division continued onwards, since they were incapable of controlling the weather. The only choice they had was continue their progress and find the enemy. And once they found them, the Constannians would make them suffer. They were honourable and forgiving people at times, but if Constannians were provoked to true fury then they would bring down their full, absolute might on an enemy, as they had done to Maximilian after his invasion of the Holy Fatherland. It was not a sight you would want to see, as your cities were turned to ruins of broken stone and steel, ash coating it all as flying battleships and bombers filled the sky and steel titans stomped across the earth, bringing their cannons and machine guns on any foe that resisted with brutal force.

Calthuria turn to her husband. "This some dark magic up there. I never felt so cold." It was cold even for one of her kind. As they continue up the hild the snow began to make there travel difficult.

"I know my love but we will get through this together" Dimitri said as they continued their ascent up the seeming endless amount of snow.

Constaniana wrote:Prince Winston grumbled a curse under his breath as the unnatural lightning bolts struck some of his forces.

The weather still pounded away at the Constannians. The weather was definitely behaving in a strange unnatural way. Lighting continue to strike as ice covered the troops making progress slow. Unfortunately both Constannia air and ground forces could not detect their enemy. The Blood Elves it seems where not only not putting up any resistance, but were nowhere in sight.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

The Shadow assassin where intelligent, while they did fall for the magic. Some of them began to use other unnatural senses. One shadow near Selina stop and croach near the ground as if to sniff the ground like a dog.

As the couple clawed their way up the mountain, they saw their objective. A cold, but beautiful creature was causing this missery. As the couple approached the woman turn and looked at them with a unfriendly look. "Insects!" she screeches. "I have been patient with you, but my largess has reached its limits. You’ve been an interesting distraction, but I tire of your meddling. Prepare to feel my touch. You will tremble. You will freeze. And you will serve me forever more."
