The Canal is finished! It is working quite fine, and, through the amazing work of the Builders as well as donations, it has been finished in less than a year! The King's Naval Three took of from the dock off of Wouspe territory and made its way to the entrance, where the King himself paid F%50 at the gate and was let in. Him and his closest advisors, as well as the People's leader and the entire National Jury, enjoyed a meal of Duck with olive oil and a Chocolate Molè sauce, the finest champagne in the land, appetizers galore, and a desert of hot Chocolate lava cake and the richest coffee in the world. The canal worked great, and millions on the sides of it cheered as it went through Fessleria. At the end of the night, fireworks exploded in the air all over the nation, and the Fesslerian Canal was opened for business.


In other news, some Wouspe imperialists have started targeting Fesslerian homes, people, and missionaries in Wouspe territory. The government has sent some military forces in the Wouspe land to take hold of the situation, and have also covered this up from the media until tomorrow, so that the Fesslerian people need not be stressed on this joyous day.

The Kannapian colony is determined to have a name. It will remain a colony of Kannap, of course, but will be named Katahdin.

The people of Katahdin agree with the railroad, but it does not need to go through Fort Appalachian (FA).

The Wokaizo tribe has just signed an agreement which would annex their region into Uieurnthlaal while retaining some special governing rights. Essentially, the Wokaizo joined Uieurnthlaal.

IC: Fessleria has officially made an agreement with the Wouspe to make them as a part of our great nation. The Wouspe have taken down their flags and put up Fesslerian ones. Fireworks went off all over the territory, which will now be known as the Province of Wouspe.

Katahdin fears an attack from Uieurnthlaal, even though they have a non-aggression pact. Therefore, Kannap constructs Fort Boone and Fort Asheville along the Katahdin-Uieurnthlaal border on the same strip of land as the town of Welcome.

In a further demonstration of Uieurnthlaal's desire for peace with Kannap, Uieurnthlaal has completely disarmed any military equipment that might be near Kannap, and instead moved them towards Malolos.

Seeing that Uieurnthlaal has taken tremendous efforts to prove to be non-threatening to Kannap, the two forts are halted halfway through building. The two locations remain as towns though. The city of Boone and the town of Asheville. Both towns are heavily fortified, as they were begun as forts.

About the railway, I suggest we get started on it, since there has been a 24-hour waiting period on which to add suggestions.
To reply to Fessleria's concern about the railway to Foonloo, it would be perfectly possible to have a large bridge over a canal, as is the case for the Uieurnthlaal Canal, as well as its model, the Panama Canal.

Kastanov is mad about the actions Renetopia have taken so he sends his best ambassadors over to Renetopia in hope of having a meeting where we can sort this out.

The tribes that reside inside Benomia have agreed to (at gunpoint) fully assimilate themselves into the Country. The land they occupied has become part of Benomia. This is after weeks of standoff, and a particularly bloody blockade.
