Lollohian Embassy?

After Nillery Hinton, Lollohian LOFA Director, announced earlier today that the Lollohian Embassy would reopen, Speaker Untillion of the House, and Speaker Johnston of the Senate both approved a state of war against Lolloh. President Devaile has not approved of this action, but instead announced publicly that if Lolloh dared try to open an Embassy on the grounds of Liberty Park (o.o.c: area were the embassy WAS located), that Ruolnik would declare a state of war against Lolloh.

Seeing as President Devaile is once more sticking to the Liberty Party's motto of "Life after Lolloh", many Right-Wing philosophers in Ruolnik have dropped the saying "Back-stabbing Devaile", as thousands of Liberty Party voters were formerly enraged that Devaile would hold conference with Lolloh. Is this a turn for a better Ruolnik? One can only assume so.

The fighting had settled since the start of the invasion. Lolloh had made no attempt to reach any diplomatic solution with the Inyourfaceistani's, however they had surrendered to Roulnik and what was left of their remaining forces after fighting a continuous war were under Roulnikian supervision, as well as the fact they had their entire airforce confiscated by Roulnik. While the Lollohian's were still officially an enemy, unless they should attempt to negotiate, they were off little threat, especially after Hazardland had pretty much scorched, poisoned and iratiated and entire province, and their misdeeds were spilling into the center and provoking self-destructive actions by the Lollohians.

But now it was time to strike. It was time to face the enemy they had invaded Elescu to face. It was time to move north and meet the socialist murdering bastards who call themselves Hazardese in combat, and kill every last one of them...

The Lollohian protest was noted. Fortunately, most of the electorate voted for status quo, with a minority voting for independence or an immediate re-integration into the either Lolloh or Ruolnik. Surprisingly, the option for merging of neutral zones attracted almsot no support after reports of Firmadorian forced conscription surfaced. Thus it would remain as a neutral territory currently under Rombergian military administration.

The Central Military Command immediately accepted this request, and commends IYF for not participating in the messy politics but instead focusing on the big picture.

OOC: The Neutral Zone is divided in 2, one Firmadorian-Lollohian and one Rombergian. The airfield is Rombergian.

IC: The defenders were highly outnumbered, but they fought on. Using guerilla tactics, they continued to disrupt Firmadorian lines, trying to minimise Firmadorian losses. After all, Firmador used to be an ally. However, the Imperial Armed Forces had one major advantage. The Firmadorians had many forced draftees in its ranks, and thus propaganda was continually blasted at the Firmadorian forces encouraging them to desert and be granted asylum in Romberg. Letters were sent to the different parties involved emphasising the Principality of Romberg's position on the issue.

We are rather pleased in your reaching a deal with Ruolnik over the soldier problem. While we certainly are impressed at the plan, you must know that Firmadorian peasants have been evicted and forcefully conscripted into military service to free up the land for your soldiers to work on. We feel that it is seriously unjust, and as a result have no option but to deny the usage of the Free State of Ålyask to Firmador. We hope that you understand our position. As for the future of the Free State itself, the referendum has reached a conclusion in which status quo as a buffer zone would be maintained, until the war against Hazardland finally concludes. For the soldiers, instead of working on land that was not theirs in the first place, we offer two options that are not only more humane, but even more beneficial to your nation. The first option is that we may be able to employ many of them in our mines back in Romberg. They will be treated as normal workers, and unlike the Firmadorian offer, they would actually work on jobs that were created for them, not stolen for others. In addition, around 45% of all output they get, as well as their wages could be sent back to Lolloh to assist in the economy. The other option is more complicated. During the war against the first waves of Hazardese forces, the Imperial Armed Forces of the Principality of Romberg has liberated large swathes of Lollohian soil. Though many still stand charred and pockmarked from the fighting, they are nonetheless prime soil valuable to Lollohian agriculture and the economy as a whole. Hence, this proposal would be to have the soldiers assist in the re-building of the liberated areas, and build fortifications against the anticipated final wave of Hazardese forces. This would help your nation to re-vitalize its economy after the long war, and help better prepare and defend itself in the future. We hope that these more humane options would be more tempting to you than allowing Firmador to give you land stolen from their original owners.

We appreciate your actions in settling the Elescu dispute. The agreement of transfer of Lollohian prisoners of war is certainly a step in the right direction, but due to the details presented, we have no choice but to oppose it, and nullify our part in the agreement. As you may or may not know, Firmadorians are being evicted from their land and forced to fight on the front, with the very soldiers you released taking over their land. This is certainly unjust, and no matter how much you hate Firmador, its people deserve more dignity than that. Alternative options for the resettlement of the Lollohians have been presented, and we hope that they would accept a more humane course of action. Should it work, then we shall open our borders for them to return home.

On another notice, we have recently had reports that there were plans to further chill down relations with Lolloh and even wage war against them. What good do your nation have to gain in this? Land? Pride? The Lollohians are weak, and their cession of Elescu was a big enough war bounty for yourself. They have paid for their actions. Give them a break. They need all their available forces to fight the Hazardese. If they fall, you will not survive for long. Please. Lolloh is no longer a major player in the conflict. Even if you hate the government, the ordinary citizens done nothing wrong, but are still massacred in the hundreds. Think about them instead of the government. After years of war, all they want is to rebuild their lives. Grant them this wish. Nobody wins in war. Even if you do not want to have anymore relations with Lolloh, imperialism will get you nowhere. Your land is already yours. Let them keep their land. They are no longer a threat to you.

We are very sorry over our decision to disrupt the repatriation process, but it must be done. We have even given options for General Krieg to use instead of force pressing them into war, and giving away the land to Lollohians. Sure there may be some benefits, but a nation in its most basic form must care about its people above others. Besides, if this option were to be followed, who else could you be in charge of? Your people would be scattered around the world, with foreigners as the only people left in your lands. This is a rather preposterous thought. Instead, we hope to present a better option. We have plans to let the Lollohians take part in more constructive work, helping rebuild the ruins of their country or work in Rombergian mines that are guaranteed to not affect the livelihoods of others. Remember the peace treaty. You promised more freedom to the people. But now it appears that freedoms have been taken away. We hope for you to reconsider this decision. Please, think about your people first. They matter to you most. You do not need to take the burden of helping the Lollohians find a place to go to and work. There are always others out there that can help. Like us. There is no use in taking military action against us. Your people should matter to you more than anything. Government Condemns Fighting, Moves Towards Talks
Tynar, Firmadorian Controlled Neutral Zone, Elescu
Yesterday, Prime Minister Nennik Lolloh appeared, announcing condemnation for Firmadorian agression. This behavior is totally unacceptable, and we will be stopping all logistical aid to Firmador until such actions stop. The announcement came as reports confirmed the seizure of a Rombergian airfield by Firmadorian Army personnel. The recent tensions between the two have slowly escalated. Currently, Firmador has 1.4 million men stationed in Lolloh, Romberg 500.000 men. As the fighting occurred, however, LOFA director Nillary Hinton made an announcement requesting reconciliation with Ruolnik. We have decided to request a meeting in Palma Arbor, to negotiate a peaceful future for the region. The Ruols and the Merickis have yet to respond.

With the delaying action in place, most of the Imperial Armed Forces was able to retreat North towards the stronghold of Rombergian liberated territory. The Free State hence re-located its headquarters further North, and the original land fell, but still it was swarming with guerillas of the Imperial Armed Forces, and propaganda efforts continued. Around 50 000 formed death squads of 10 each within the former neutral zone, to cause as much havoc on Firmadorians as possible. They were trained to fight to the death, and would use guerilla warfare to try to even out the odds. Up North, an airfield was cleared, and requests for 50 000 more fresh troops from the Principality to replace the guerillas were made. Ontorisa was also notified in the change of the base, and Ontorisan fighters were also recommended to move North to continue the battle for freedom.

The soldiers fighting were mostly veterans from the civil war, the draftees were still in boot camp back home ( my forces are part veteran part conscript, most of the deployed are the experienced ones and the LARGE homeguard are the conscripts )

This is understandable. However, we are still rather concerned over the Hazardese threat, which has not fully subsided. Hence, we would request our personnel cuts to be down to 500 000 instead of withdrawing 300 000. We hope that you would understand this.

Meanwhile Field Marshal Lenesov was feeling rather relieved that both sides would work towards communication instead of more war. Perhaps the situation would defuse after all.

Palma Arbor International Airport, Isle of Lost

Two limos and a handful of Dibolus Oculus (I.L Secret Service) stood in idle at the Private Airlines Terminal while they awaited the Ruolnikian and Lollohian representitives. Several Sand Palms blew in the cool ocean breeze as the group watched two private jets land a few minutes apart. The Ruolnikian delegation was simply allowed to depart from their aircraft on the tarmac and take a short walk to the awaiting party. The Lollohian delegation, however, was forced to stay onboard untill the aircraft was stored in a hanger gaurded by armed I.L soilders. The outside entrance of the hanger was only a short distance away from the awaiting limo.

Several armed gaurds were standing by the door awaiting their arrival. Snipers were posted high up in the surrounding Air Traffic Control Tower and a 3 story building 1.5 miles away.


Dispite the massive amount of security, there was still a large concern among the top DO agents that an attack would occur. Massive riots had plagued all the islands, and Southern Palma Arbor when news broke that the Lollohians would be arriving. Many citizens compared the Socialist Lollohians to the Merickian Social Freedoms Party, which took over the island chain decades ago and threw it into turmoil and resulted in a Prime Chancellor rising to power, and do to this wanted to shot the Lollohians on site. The hatred for Socialists was so great, that many had rejoiced upon hearing that Lolloh was devestated by Hazardland, untill the news broke that Hazardland too was Socialist.

Massive numbers of cargo planes were landing in Vestnu, Fort Cross, and Dynik. Roughly 450,000 Inyourfaceistani Army regulars, with armor and artillery support were now unloading and begining the trek toward Elescu.

Another division, known as the Serdachino's, or "Pig-Dogs", were scheduled to arrive in Elescu within a matter of hours. These elite airborne soldiers of the 504th combat brigade earned their nickname in the Guerocan War, taking a derogatory insult and turning it into an icon of fear and prowess.
