Firmador creates Neutral Zone (NZ) on Elescu-Lolloh border.

Lolloh's massive army (and Airforce) surrenders to Ruolnikian Troops in Elescu.

I.L and Ruolnikian troops move their lines up to the NZ and start prepairing their own fortifactions. (Ruolnikians have a communication issue and get in a shoot out with the Firmadorians untill their lines are corrected.)

Hazardland attacks Neutral Zone Elescu. (Attack does damage to all sides, but is easily defeated.)

Hazardland preps a MASSIVE army to invade Lolloh... again
(Defense against Hazardland has fallen to Romberg and a small remainder of Not-Surrendered Lollohian troops and naval ships.

Nennik and Devaile meet in Dynet to discuss Elescuian annexation into Ruolnik.

-May I suggest we continue off here? If there is anything I forgot to add lemme know.

(Also, we can assume that the meeting in Dynet got all the way to the part were Devaile left. Seeing as Lollohian soilders stationed in Elescu had surrendered, there is no point for him to have stormed out.)

Ontorisa has brought in elements to train Ethnic Ontorisans who have been conducting warfare against remaining Hazardese troops in Lolloh as well as preparing defences for the second wave alongside Romberg.

OOC: Don't forget the agreement. Half of it is Rombergian, and while neutral, is used as a base of operations against the Hazardese. While still nominally a neutral zone, it is under military rule as the Special Protectorate of Ålyask. Foreign military units (Apart from Ontorisa and Firmador) are currently not allowed to enter. The 2 million were never in our zone. And while the Principality of Romberg is officially neutral, slightly leaning on the Lollohian side, we are not interested in anything apart from getting the Hazardese out of there. While Hazardese raids seemed to have subsided, the Imperial Armed Forces remained weary, now realizing that they were possibly the last line of support to prevent the whole region from collapsing into chaos and ruin from the Hazardese. With newly trained Ontorisan forces, they were instructed to guard key mountain passes that would connect the Special Protectorate to the rest of Lolloh-Ruolnik and would be reverted to Ontorisan control once a proper command post by them was established. While more lightly armed than the troops present in the Imperial Armed Forces, the geographical location meant that they would still present a real challenge for anyone who dares to enter it. This land was also declared a temporary territory of the Principality of Romberg, meaning that anyone who dares to conduct any military operations within the Special Protectorate without prior agreement would be viewed as an invasion on Rombergian soil. With defense of the Special Protectorate now more or less secure, troops on the frontline could finally take a rest and wait for fresh soldiers to arrive from home to replace them.

Hyvar nodded. Well, we are withdrawing our troops. Considering that, being peacekeepers, you have a duty to withdraw as well, due to the fact that Ruolnik is taking over and peace has been achieved. I would love to talk on and on about how Elescu is in a state of anarchy, but, for the moment, we need a withdrawal to the Elescu Lolloh border. Of course, we cannot currently fight a war. Give us a month or two and we will be militarily self sufficient.

Dynet, Elescu
The last of the army was pulling out. The only remaining troops were 5.000 LPC officers, who would hand over law enforcement to the Ruolnikian military upon occupation. Already, the remaining 2.300.000 men were pulling out, and Dynet was virtually a ghost town. Keeping to their word, only 150.000 troops remained, and they were concentrated within 3km of new border. They withdrawal was gradual, but, as the Roulnikians had yet to hand over the general, little could be done.

OOC: I don't want to drag out the point, but there's little you could have done to stop me from allowing Lolloh's 2 million men back into the country. Namely because in my opening post I said that Lollohians that wanted to withdraw from Elescu could threw the NZ (ignoring the fact that I let them in there in the first place, and then where were you?).

Krieg let out a giggle, "No. You can go, we're not leaving. Go relay that to your friends, Hyvar. If we move from this NZ the Ruols will break their agreement and overwhelm you, again. If you want us to leave, we're not coming back a third time so if they do attack as we predicted you're..." He paused to look for the Lollohian word, "Fucked."

OOC: Need to hand in my last paper today, then I got work hopefully for the next week so I'll be a bit less active. Just assume the construction of the NZ is continuing, trenches, underground network, fortified bunkers, AA networks, and the port are being built up. Along with more troops filtering in.

@Romberg, the 500,000 Firmadores guarding the coast are now ICly and OOCly under your control (just assume if you order them to do something /against/ the Commonwealth they'll disobey orders) until I can figure out my schedule.

Krieg's face lit up, the Romburghers had promised something similar but where their loyalities lied was suspect to everyone except the rural folk, who were increasingly facing prejudice in the homeland. "Fantastic! Everyone knows the biggest issue with an overseas force is supplying them, without us having to worry about logistics we can place even more men!" He rubbed his chin, the Firmadores Army was already weak with reserves and any spare T-72s, T-80s and T-90s patrolling the coasts for invaders. Some where even used to "accidentally" run over recently plowed feels. Damn farmers, though Krieg disagreed with this practice them being his compatriots there was little that could be done. 1.5 Million of the total living 1.91 million to be deployed were either on the ground or in a ship in port.

Dynet, Elescu

Regiments of the 12th Infantry Divison were amongst the first of the Ruolnikian soilders to reach Dynet. The Lollohian Quarter was empty, but many ethnic Elescuians had remained, even though it was close to an even split between pro and anti Ruolnikian support.

Most of the army just pushed on through on their way to set up the defenses at the NZ. A few regiments, however, stayed behind to act as law enforcement untill the true Elescuian Police Department could be set up and start running effectivly.

Humanitarian aid was sent in, although little was needed, due to the quick speed of the war and both side's willingness to leave citizens alone.

Ruolnikian Times

Coalition Forces have secured Dynet and surrounding towns today. Many Ethnic Lollohians evacuated Elescu and have dropped the population size. Speaker Untillion stated in a speech today that Ethnic Lollohians evacuating Elescu is acctually a good thing. Here is a qoute from his speech:

"... The population of Elescu has dwendled during this ""war"", and many believe that this is a bad thing. I, however, disagree. Almost 90% of all refugees from Elescu were ethnic Lollohians. The Lollohians, who are strict socialists and tend to call the upper class dictators and facists. This however, contradicts with Elescu. When the Lollohians arrived hundreds of years ago, Elescu was it's own society, ruled by it's own people. In modern days, however, this [i]was different. Lolloh ruled Elescu, and Elescuians had little say in what happened. True, there were free and open elections, but when Ethnic Elescuians are outnumbered by Ethnic Lollohians 2 to 1, that did not matter.

I say this, to reinforce the point that Elescu has reached a new era. It shall florish under whatever regional goverment style it chooses. Sure, they will bear the Ruolnikian Flag, but for how long? Myself and other representitives of this nation are currently working out a plan to give Elescu it's independance in the future.

They deserve it as much as we, and they will get it. Now that the Lollohians have been removed, Ruolnik is only there to keep them from falling under Lollohian control again, and I mean that. The house and the senate have already recognized that Elescu will probably more left-winged than Ruolnik, and we do not care. They will do what they wish, and how they wish it. We are only here to help them grow and prosper, untill the day they can bear their own flag and protect their own borders."[/i]

In other news...

The prisoners taken from Lolloh's surrender are reportibly being prepaired to for release. The only confromation that all 2,300,000+ will be released came from General Bulregard, who assured us that the prisoners will be released upon Lolloh's request and the approval of them to cross the NZ.

Krieg filed the necessary paperwork to allow the 2,300,000 Lollohian soldiers to cross back over to their homeland. Meanwhile 1.6 million men were now stationed in-country almost equaling the size of the Lollohian army. A draft has been called on every urbanite, affecting 711,200,000 people raising half a percent of the population (a full percent of the males, which by the constitution barred female participation in any aspect of the military) which amounts to 3,500,000 Firmadores conscripts to the Commonwealth's Militia and allowing the freeing up of over 1,000,000 retired veterans for policing the rural fields. The tensions were high as for the first time ever the Commonwealth ran a plebiscite for whether a further 800,000 combat troops should be deployed, supplied by Lolloh, to the Lollohian coasts to shore up 500,000 Romburgher-general'd Firmadores. Initial pre-vote polls had the population at a dead heat, with 43% against and 40% for with ten percent abstaining and seven percent undecided.

Amar passed a bill that would give farmland, formerly owned by rural folk, in at least six acre parcels to any Elescu of all ethnic makeups to emigrate to Firmador. They can do so by crossing the NZ and getting on a Firmador-paid Romburgher private charter airline. They will be needed to work the fields, but the land is theirs and they may also acquire immediately a 40,000$ USD credit line at a subsidized rate (half). Firmador would also be pleased to immigrate 112,219,031 rural citizens to the grainfields in Elescu. While they would technically be workers of the Commonwealth of Firmador they will pay 50% of their goods to your nation and the remainder will be used to feed the Lollohian and Firmadores people. Obviously we will compensate for the land (likely to be from those that emigrate like the Lollohians or ethnic Elescu to Firmador), it is suspected that the Ruol were free market enough to allow the inflow of capital and private property ownership. Amar and Gregor didn't like the rurals, and if the Elescu came they could produce food in the homeland more stably.

A bill was immediately passed, allowing for the release of the 2.3 million prisoners. Another bill was also passed, concerning supplying the Firmadores military stationed in Lolloh. Despite ardently voiced opposition, the bill passed unanimously, 254-0 against, with 13 abstaining. It would provide 5% of the Lollohian crop, to the military, along with 3% of all industrial goods necessary. The Parliament also passed another bill, giving 10% of all government-owned industry (about 6% of the total industry), to Firmador. This was largely due to the large Firmadores presence, with Firmadores people making up 2% of the population.

Neutral Zone Boundary, Elescu
You are now entering Firmadores/Lollohian Joint Military Territory, read the sign. Those that were fleeing north (there were still a couple), now had to pass a strict border inspection. Anyone who crossed the border was denied the ability to return. Roughly 8.000 refugees, probably the last Lollohians to exit Elescu, went over the border. The total of people leaving Lolloh also spiked: 35.000 left via Mitheldalonian ships, another 125.000 signed up to go farming in Firmador.

Ethnics Rejoice, Clash
Dekkar, Lolloh- Yesterday, a mixture of joy and horror was on the streets of this country. Roughly 8 million Firmadores, many refugees from the recent civil war, were on the streets, hugging kissing, and flirting with the soldiers who marched through Tynnik on their way to Elescu. Roughly 2 million Firmadores troops are expected to be in Lolloh by the end of the month. However, problems also resulted. In the north, where order was just recently restored, clashes between ethnic Firmadores, Ruols, and Ontorisans have resulted in 4 dead and 27 wounded, stated the LPC. The scuffles come as a new study, released by the Bureau of Statistics, says that a Ruol is 5 times more likely to go to jail than a Ontorisan, 8 times more likely than a Firmadores, and 20 times more likely than a Lollohian.

OOC: Correct me if my interpretation was wrong.

IC: Back in the Special Protectorate, preparations were underway for full integration as an overseas colony of the Principality of Romberg. With the neutral zone officially taken over, the Kaiser felt both sides did not deserve the area at the moment. Lolloh could not be trusted with a previous record of human rights abuses, Ruolnik due to the invasion of nominally sovereign Lollohian territory. For the first time, the Imperial Flag was flown over the main city in the zone.

When the request from Firmador for the charter airline was sent to Rombergia, currently the only airline in operation by the Principality of Romberg, and state-owned, the request was promptly denied. There were reports of farmers back in Firmador being evicted and pressed into military service in Lolloh. This was totally unacceptable for the Kaiser. The Firmadorian troops were ordered to remain in their barracks and not interfere with the Rombergian operation. They were ordered to lay down their arms and stay in their barracks until further notice. Imperial Armed Forces units guarded the barracks to prevent a rebellion. A formal complaint was sent to Firmador of this serious breach of human rights.

Elescu

Ruolnikian and I.L soilders began the slow process of building up defenses along the new DMZ, it would be harder than the previous DMZ to build, due to its length and lack of natural boundries, but construction began anyways.

Ruolnik, after securing the Police Department with help of a few military units, went and dropped an estimated 60 Million Ruols on getting ownership information from local law firms. All former Lollohian Government property was seized by the Ruolnikian Government and then put up forsale to private enterprises and new Local-Businesses. All farmland owned by Lollohians that evacuated was also seized by the government and put up forsale to the remainder of the population (mostly Elesucians).

This added to the large counter-Firmadorian offer that was growing. Why would the people of Elescu move to a forgien land far away when new opertunity and freedom has opened up in their native land? Besides, unlike the people of Lolloh, the people of Elescu never celebrated Firmador's entry into the ""war"" all that they heard was the Firmador was attacking North Lolloh, then created a Nuetral Zone North of Elescu forcing the trapped Lollohian army to surrender. So even those who disliked the Ruolnikians, disliked the Firmadorians even more, as they whole heartedly believed that it was Firmadors fault that Lolloh surrendered to Ruolnik.

In total, the only pieces of land that would be owned by the government was the Capital Building, a strip of land by the DMZ, and a large chunk of land where a military base and airfield was to be built.

The Board of Elections was reassembled in Dynet to start an election for Elescu's Governer, Provincial House, Provincial Senate and Vice Governer. The canidates for Governer are as follows:

Simon Gerivik - Social Party Canidate- (Lollohian)

Serge Devöik - Moderist Party Canidate (Elescuian)

Harold Warren - Liberty Party Canidate (Ruolnikian)

Yuri Kevlik - UCR Party Canidate (Elescuian)

Devon Limar - Independant Canidate (Elescuian)

The Board of Elections has set a date for the Governers and House Election to be in 1 week (5 I.C posts?), and the Senate Elections to be in 1 week from that.

Back in the Free State of Ålyask (The Rombergian-controlled Neutral Zone changed names again), a referendum was set up to determine the future of the Free State. Regardless of outcome, the area would still be used as a base of operations by the Imperial Armed Forces of Romberg against Hazardese invaders. The options:

a) Integration as a colony of the Principality of Romberg
b) Status quo as a associate protectorate of the Principality of Romberg
c) Merger into the Firmadorian neutral zone
d) Direct integration into Lolloh
e) Direct integration into Elescu, Ruolnik region
f) Full independence
g) None of the above.

The entire 5 million electorate would be able to vote for the future of their region, an island of stability in the midst of chaos.

O.O.C: The NZ is in a plain, not mountains. And I don't think making it a colony is a good idea because it is just a thin scar on the Lollohian-Ruolnikian border.

Oh, and I forgot to IC stuff about the Prisoners, so here it is.

IC:

Fort Palm, HQ

General Fletcher flipped through pages and pages and pages of data collected about the prisoners. It took several hundred inspectors to go around collecting names and information of the prisoners as they stood lined up in their camps.

It had taken quiet awhile, but the information was finished and Fletcher dispatched a notice to Lolloh and Romberg,

All prisoners have been recorded and are ready for transport, we request that several airships be allowed to make runs over the NZ to allow for the release of all prisoners to Lolloh.

Until the issue of Firmadorian forced conscription of farmers into its military is resolved, we shall declare the Free State of Ålyask a no-fly zone. The airships shall not be allowed to cross the airspace of the Free State currently, and will be shot down as enemy aircraft if done so.

We have ensured that you survived the war with your life and dignity intact. If it weren't for us you would have been tried, and considered a traitor to the state. But no, we saw the war hero, the tactician in you. And that's why we brokered the peace deal to let you live and fight another day. But yet how do you repay this? By betraying the people. The very people who spared you life. Every nation relies on its source of food. With your forced conscription of farmers as soldiers, who would plough your fields? Lollohians? They were soldiers, not farmers. It'll take some time before they get used to it. And your use of tanks? shameful. What was supposed to be a joint declaration to build a peaceful democratic society has devolved into a power struggle, with actions of the most callous kind. You still have a military. We have already trained around 100 000 units in the mountains, the 101st, 102nd and 103rd Revolutionary Corps. You don't need numbers to win. You need military skill. Please, consider the livelihoods of your people. For their own liberty, for your own food supply, let them do what they do best. You already have the military forces capable of handling this. There is no need to force conscription. Has the civil war turned you into a bloodthirsty warmonger? We hope not, because at least some back home still see you as the great military leader, the one who made a sacrifice for a more open and more free Firmador. Don't let it slide the other way.

The government gave the green light for Ruol transport movement. The government was quite annoyed by the selling of privately owned land for just $80 million, maybe less. The government latently protested the Rombergian movement at colonization, and threatened to move in troops if they tried any tricks.

Government orders Embassy reopened!
Vestnu, Ruolnik- Yesterday, Nillary Hinton, LOFA director, announced that the Embassy of Lolloh in Vestnu would soon reopen. Hinton sited that the Ruol Government never formally closed the Embassy, and, as such, Lolloh has every right to occupy it. She also announced the movement of 1.300 Lollohian nationals to Ruolnik as part of a "new diplomatic effort aimed at consideration with our neighbor." New plans, including a $288 million extension, have been drafted, which would expand the Embassy to 3 city blocks in size. According to Hinton, the Embassy would be able to house 2.700 people, and would be staffed by 800 once "the situation in Elescu has subsided."
