Captain Alloway of C Company and his marines crept through the corridors of Muundale Megamall. The rest of the attached 1st had cordoned off the area around, and teams were gradually being called in to back up Alloway and his men. Since Pattyonia had shipped in lots of new weapons, many of the regulars were armed with AR-9 Shrec caseless 6.5mm assault rifles, SkeletonKey shotguns, AR-56 rifles in .224 Boz, among others. From lessons learnt in the GA District, the T-2 Warriors had sealed off all entrances and exits to the mall, and Eiko, BO-105 and Seminole helos circled above. Captain Alloway paused for a moment. He could hear footsteps in the room above. He signaled for the riot-shield holders to part, and every man in the hallway let rip with his weapon. The ceiling splintered and chips of plaster and wood flew in every direction. There were a few muffled yells from above, and then all was quiet. "Come on boys, they aren't paying us by the hour! Let's go!" And the soldiers jogged off down the hall.

Sergeant Farlands walks through the supermall. Him and his platoon have been scouring the building for rebels to no avail. Come on men the rebs cleared out. all of a sudden the wall in front of him ripped apart splinter ripped into his stomach and leg Corporal Zimms runs to his aid yelling Sergeant!! Zimms is felled by a burst of rifle fire three fingers were shot off and had a splinter of plywood in his left leg. He screams in pain remebering New Spartanican firefights only a couple of weeks earlier. A soldier in the back of the column yells Friendly fire!!!

Sergeant Farlands acknowledges Pattyonian medical support. No, your men didn't fire on us are own men fired on us. Corporal Zimms and Sergeant Farlands and three other men were airlifted out of the area back to Safezone Center.

Captain Alloway with A, B and C Companies, along with some ParaRecce Marines scouted the streets ahead of the main force. They crawled on their hands and knees right up to 50 yards from the target. The Captain looked through his monocle, and saw some Greater Americanians milling around the bar that Zebra Company had pointed out. These ones were much better armed then the force that had mobbed the convoy a day ago. They toted AK-47s, RPGs, pipe-bombs, in addition to a huge variety of crude melee weapons and some drove around in technicals mountings .50 heavy machineguns. Captain Alloway sent word back to the other forces back at Muundale.

Sergeant Felloy recievies word from the Pattyonian scout force. His platoon of heavy ordinance soldiers equipped with the newest armour comming from Hornopolis. Hoplite V Assault Armour. Sergeant Felloy moves him 20 man platoon towards the Pattyonian force near the rebel held bar.

The empire is requesting confirmation that our troops have arrived and are being briefed. Contact was lost upon supposedly entering the safe zone.

IC: 8000 Kalakdan Army and National Guard troops entered the city of Modk, among them Kalakda's top snipe Yuri Ruev and his trusty spotter Demetri Willin. Willin whined, "Man, this is our fourth conflict in five months, this is ridiculous!", Yuri replied, "Yeah, well, we went through hell far worse than this! We haven't even been fired at yet! Nothing could beat the hell we went through on that beach in Russenich, remember that? And when we captured that girl Epicnopolisian pilot during Operation Wipeout?", Willin says, "Yeah, that's true."

Major Bob Thorton, an immigrant from Darham asks, "Do you think Greater Americania will intervene in this whole mess?", Ruev replies, "It's possible, who knows?", the men are totally unaware, however, that a rioter sniper armed with a Dragunov is watching them.

This is Colonel Destrias in Safezone Center your soldiers arrived under heavy fire <static interferance> We are under heavy fire my soldiers and yours are taking moderate casualties. <static interferance> Your soldiers in Safezone East have already been briefed and have been ordered to report to Field Marshal Kaulus in Northern Modk in Safezone North. However <static interferance> your soldiers in Safezone Center are as you can tell under heavy fire. The Hornopolis Foreign Legion has been deployed to Safezone Center to aid in the defense.

Captain Alloway fired another burst from his PAR-65, and tossed a grenade through one of the bar's lower windows. There was a loud BANG!, and a tongue of flame licked out from the window. He promptly riposted a club-wielding rioter with his Badger trench axe, and cut him down. All around him, the rioters were putting up fierce resistance, but they couldn't hide from the numerous Pattyonian snipers and marksmen around the target building. Alloway saw a rioter jump onto an abandoned .50 and swing it in his direction, only to be dropped by Lance Corporal Burns armed with a Stealth Recon Scout. The fire was getting hot, but Hornopolis armor was on the way.

Tank Commander Karl"Dizzy"Gordan moves his T-72 medium tank through rubble and rioters. Sergeant Felloy is right behind Dizzy's tank, "Betty". She is escorting Felloy's platoon towards the pinned down Pattyonian forces. Directly behind Sergeant Felloy's platoon is a T-45 LAV armoured vehicle, "Honey Badger" is pulling up the rear. Gordan's tank breaks through a wall and fires one 75 mm round into the rebel held bar. Sergeant Felloy deploys his men to defend "Betty" and "Honey Badger" from small arms and RPG fire.

Captain Alloway had just ran through his fourth magazine, when an explosion tore a gaping hole in the front of the bar. He heard a shout from behind him. "Yeah! The cavalry have arrived!" Then Hornopolian tanks lumber into the area, firing their main guns at the bar and dug-in rebels. The shells carve craters out of the ground and send men and vehicles flying into the air. The Pattyonians give a cheer, and resume firing with renewed vigour.

Corporal Hans Friedrich fires his BAR automatic rifle at several rebels intrenched to the left of the bar.
Corporal Friedrich tosses a frag into the trench killing five of the seven rebels. Next to him PFC Galland's head explodes. Sniper! yells Friedrich as Sergeant Falloy's arm is blow off by a Berret .50 cal sniper rifle. Corporal Friedrich runs to the sergeants aid, You'll be OK sir, I promise. "Honey Badger" opens up with her .50 caliber machine gun at the roof of the bar. Now in command of 5th platoon of Zebra Company Corporal Friedrich orders his men to move up to the next trench.

Sergeant Thomas Halson floored the M-14 Hydra Fast Attack Vehicle, and raced towards the bar. He flipped a switch, manipulated a cursor over one of the windows that a huge amount of fire was coming from and (making sure that there were no friendlies near it) sent a TOW missile whooshing into the upper floor. The window panes immediately shattered, and flames belched forth from the window. He then tweaked the remote that controled the 25mm chaingun, and sent a stream of high-explosive shells into a rebel bunker. Seconds later, two surving rebs emerged, only to be picked off by Pattyonian snipers. At the back of the Hydra, Private Allan Marcion triggered the vehicle's M-49 belt-fed automatic grenade-launcher. One 40x99mm round after another sailed into the packed rebel positions. Up front, Halson turned a technical into a smoking hulk with another TOW.
