I think I'm going to have to leave this RP soon, as I can no longer sit down and write the stories I used to. Would anybody like to join me for one last round of fun?

Given your locality, the EoL is likely going to have some role I am sure but to what extent would be determined rather by the course of the RP but I am largely open to most things.

Thanks for the interest, unfortunately I spoke a little too soon and I got a response from Brink about it.

I'll let you know if I think another role for outside RPers. Anyway, Khorsuni Declaration of Independence is probably only a few posts away, I'll be looking forward to seeing some international responses to that.

So I'm thinking of a possible amendment to the claims decree.

It would basically be like this: "No new claims shall be recognized as established until a history entry is completed and submitted to the main thread."

Basically saying this - you can claim, RP, and finish a claim but it won't be ticked as "complete" until you submit the appropriate entry(-ies) to our history.

Tis the goal - I redid the history once - let's just say the amount of effort it took will not facilitate my doing it again without serious cause. Furthermore, half of the people that wanted the history revision wound up leaving when I started doing it so plunk to them!

The Economic Complexity Index site looks like it would be incredibly useful as a tool for when we start figuring out economies and world trade in detail. Just imagine having a profile like these for each of our countries

Sounds cool and it's a nice model at first glance - talk to Brink he's wanted to do this for years now - yearssssss He just can't do it alone - he'd need everyone's help.

Cottish economics blurb. I just wanted to have this put up somewhere, so bear with me.

Currency: Cottish Rikskrone (CRK) [1 Rikskrone = 5 Skilling = 100 Øre (i.e. 1 Skilling= 20 Øre)]. Exchange rate is set at CRK 1 = USD 1.80

The Central Bank of Cotland also issues two precious metal coins: the Gulldaler (Gold Daler), which is a solid gold coin with a gold content of 4.5 grams of 24 carat gold (giving a weight value of $180.72/coin using gold values as of 12 January 2014) at a face value of CRK 50 (USD 90) ; and the Sølvdaler (Silver Daler), which has a weight ratio of 7:11 to the Gulldaler, yielding coils of 3.12 grams of pure silver (giving a weight value of $207.43/coin using silver values as of 12 January 2014) at a face value of CRK 50 (USD 90). This means that the two coins are more valuable as bullion coins rather than being used for day-to-day commerce, although both coins are considered legal tender in Cotland.

Major exports: Petroleum oils (crude), Petroleum gases, Petroleum oils (refined), Fish and seafood, Steel and iron, Unwrought aluminium, Ships, Aircraft, Metal, Ferroalloys, Foodstuffs, Electronics, Armaments and munitions, Alcohol, Lumber, Furs, Precious metals, Electrical power, Diamonds

Major imports: Cars and vehicles, Medicaments, Consumer goods, Aircraft, Telephones and electronics, Foodstuffs, Chemicals, Coffee, Paper, Armaments and munitions, Tobacco, Alcohol, Luxury items

Major trade partners (Exports): Layarteb, Apilonia, Rome, United States of Brink, Russia, Brazil, Lacoze, Amigrad, Achesia

Major trade partners (Imports): Layarteb, United States of Brink, Rome, Apilonia, Lacoze, Achesia

On a late note I object to this strongly. I have no problem doing history but I want to do it on my time, and I refuse to put in a huge amount of work only for it to be oversighted until I finish histories.

I am hosting the next World Cup. I am going to make it very interactive. I want it to be an RP opportunity where everyone has an option and incentive to participate. That being said you can get as involved as you’d like, meaning not at all if you are so inclined.

So if I could be so bold I’d like to ask that everyone submit a roster (11 starters, 5 bench, coach(es)) via TG. If you could also name in that roster a team captain and up to 2 alternates. Finally if you could identify any ‘star’ players it would create a bit of depth.

Once that gets underway we can move on.
