And actually posting again as can be seen in fed to the wolves. The chain of bad things happening has finally (hopefully) ended.

As has no doubt been noticed given my being deleted due to inactivity from NS (again) my personal life has caught up with me once more and unfortunately it means that for the foreseeable future I simply do not have the time or the energy to commit to something like Earth II with the kind of commitment that it needs, much as it might sadden me. If for no other reason than that the stories of the characters I have begun may never be told. It is for that reason that, after discussion with Terra Reborn (who is a close friend in real life) I have decided to allow him to make use of my major characters so that their story may continue.

I don't know whether he plans to claim my fallen territories or simply to somehow finagle the characters out of the nation, but I have sent him all the information on my military forces and the like so that he, or whomsoever takes over my lands in the future may know exactly what they've got their hands on.

To the rest of you, some of whom I've had the pleasure to write with, other's that I haven't, I wish oyu all the best of luck for the future, and I sincerely hope that one day I'll be able to return.

In light of the above, and as much as I'd like to support my fallen friend in Europe (Olmeria) the opportunity to snag more land in North America must take priority, and I only have the LPM space for only some of AFPs territories so that rules out anything but the smallest claims in Europe, therefore my involvement in Europe will be limited to my operations out of IAF Corte on Corsica, although I may claim that island once Lay gets up the information and shit.

I appreciate that's been a long time since my last post in my introduction, but until I know how the foreign troops in my territories are going to react there is very little I can do.

With respect to those behind said troops, if you are unwilling/unable to actually do anything could you at least state their withdrawal so that I can press on.

I can tell you all that an update is coming and sooner than all of you think so post if you want to keep your stuff. It's hot, humid, and generally gross out since summer decided to come in full force. So my tolerance and patience is markedly less than what it normally is.

This will be a rare chance at democracy among the members of Earth II being that you will all be able to weigh in on this one.

So here is the scenario:

Rather than revise the history of Earth II, which is a daunting task, what do you say we do a total reboot? Now before you get too giddy, there are some stipulations.

• Current active / pending members with established history cannot have their history removed.
• Recently departed members (i.e. Amigard, Olmeria, Edvardus) cannot have their history removed.
• Influential members of the past (i.e. Bavin) cannot have their history removed.
• As was originally done in the first go at history, RomeW's history will serve as the focal point.

So what this means is that I would first wipe the history completely. Then I will add in the history of members fitting these categories. Then we will have a clean history. BEFORE THAT HAPPENS THOUGH there are some conditions.

• To have your history readded, it must be current (i.e. at least through the 2012 calendar year - you do not need to have 2013 completely done). [NO ACTION REQUIRED ON THIS YET]
• Look back into the history of YOUR nation and when you post your opinion, give me a brief (nothing special) idea what history conflicts with your own and give me a brief explanation why (again nothing special but make me think you looked).

Okay? So go ahead and let's get the opinions out there.

23:03 Abruzi Initial thought is this is the perfect opportunity to meld E2 together, we should def all work on having different perspectives on historic wars, dynasties, etc.

^My thoughts on this reboot. Obviously I'm completely for it, but as I mentioned we should use this opportunity as a way of making our community more cohesive.

Also Concluded Pravda, that is to say I have concluded my claims for the Tuva Republic, Khabarovsk, and the rest of the Sakha Republic.

Well I got alot of History backlog I got to do then.

Happy though for a chance to remove the sore thumb that is Pakistan's history relative to mine.

Sounds good, I can revise the Kreynorian/Khorsuni history to fit present circumstances.

Interesting idea, certainly worth looking into given how convuluted Earth II's history is in places.

Also, I've recently discovered that both Cocos and Christmas Island are unclaimed, therefore to correct that oversight I wish to claim them and add them to by Western Australia thread.

I'd be willing to work with the history reboot, and I don't see any conflicts with my history or any others but I think this is the best chance for others to work together to plot out dynasties, wars, etc.

Here's sort of a timeline of what we'll do [not set in stone yet]:

• June 13 - June 17: Commence reconstruction of Earth II History v,2
• June 18: Present foundation of Earth II History v.2
• June 19 - June 20: Member review
• June 21 - July 22: Open submission of new hsitory, history revisions, edits, member review
• July 23 - July 30: Integrate new history, review removed history from v.1 that could fit into v.2
• July 31 - August 6: Member review
• August 7 - August 10: Final review
• August 11: Earth II History v.2 posted

If you do not have your history up-to-date to January 1, 2013 at the minimum by August 6 it won't be added until it is. Because of the scope of the project there will be no leniency with deadlines. If you cannot meet the deadline you will forfeit inclusion until after the fact, meaning that your history is subject to scrutiny to comply with standards and what not (i.e. if there's a conflict between you and someone else who is in there already; you lose).

When the time comes I am going to make a new thread for all of the history posts & stuff to keep the clutter out of here & when it is posted I will have a v.2 history thread so that v.1 isn't lost [I'll have the mods lock v.1].

So if I'm understanding this correctly, we're simply doing this to consolidate history and remove any history from minor members that once played with us?
