So is there anywhere in our little world here that piracy might be a problem? Somalia is pretty much out because Brink has civilized it as goes for the Gulf of Guinea. Would the Strait of Malacca be an issue or would you HNM have that under tight thumb?

We have Malacca under pretty tight control with lots of active anti-piracy patrols going on in the Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal.

On that note I think the Bay of Bengal could have its fair share of piracy, there is still an illegal drug trade going in Burma despite Yutani Corp. trying to buy up the heroin plants [for medicinal purposes of course] and regulate its production and sales. I think coupled with the fact that the Burmese and Thai Government aren't as motivated to combat piracy as the Empire is leaves room for Piracy in the area.
