Basically, this is a what-if scenario where the Eastern and Western Blocs never fell, and the two sides continued producing weapons indefinitely. I'll specify it in more detail later. Anyway, the conflict erupted over oil shortages, and a conflict in Saudi Arabia has begun, that will slowly culminate into a full-out war. For reference, the Western Bloc is Capitalist and mostly democratic(but not neccessary,) while the Eastern Bloc is communist. I'm open to creating new groups, just include the info on group's forming. You can also switch alliances during the simulation. Also, i would prefer real nations, but you can have your nation as a newly formed nation, just specify location, etc. Year is 2020 by the way.

Backstory: The USA rose to power as a major part of the Western Bloc in the Cold War. Although it attempted to assist in revolutions in the early 90s, these were unsuccessful. The USA is a large consumer of oil, and national reserves in Alaska are depleted. The 52 states (the original 50 plus puerto Rico and Guam) are very influential in the Western Bloc.
