Unknown to the minister of defense, his phone was trying to receive a signal being blocked. It was encrypted on a low level and trying o enter the room. No one knew what was happening, but the following message was being sent: "This is the HYPERION ADMINISTRATIONAL WEAPONARY ALERT SYSTEM. A(n) EMP MISSILE has been detected within 2,000 MILES of your current location. It is not known if it is heading for your area, but stay alert." No one knew that an EMP missile may of been heading for the meeting, and the only hope for the senders when they couldn't reach him was the missile would be taken out.

"Okay then. No Weapons bans. However, it's obvious a treaty between Zeus and NAE needs to be made. Yes, just the AI needs its own treaty."

The Minister laughed with a serious face, then sat down.

Edward nodded his head at the Autarch's proposal and said,"I agree. Anyone else?" Everyone seemed to agree. Edward told Viktor to go outside if he wished to continue to communicate with the guards and the decrypters. Reluctantly, Viktor nodded and left the room. Edward directed his attention back to the conference. Then he hear the proposal of a treaty between the NAE and Slipspacia and that caught his attention. He hoped the two would settle their differences. Otherwise... he didn't want to know the outcome.

Suddenly Athena sized up in anger and moved past the Hyperion diplomat and pinned the president to the wall holding him by his throat.
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD, I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOU AT THE START! THERES A FUCKING EMP MISSILE HEADING TOWARDS THE MEETING."
All of a sudden Athena started to speak as if they were in a command center.
"This is Athena Authorization code:(insert inaudible sound here) activating SWoD grid, sector 4, scanning for inbound missiles, target locked, precision strike inbound to missile, impact in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.... target destroyed, EMP missile had been annihilated."
Then Athena shoved the Hyperion president against the wall harder and said in a voice that could cause liquid nitrogen to freeze.
"Now president, did you really think that would work on me? hmm? do you really want this meeting to fail so much, that you would try to sneak in a missile strike? Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you right now."
She lifted up her other arm, energy dagger posed at the president's forehead.
"I propose that the other leaders leave to confirm the missile threat and subsequent destruction of said threat before you come back in. Don't worry, he'll still be alive when you come back in..."

The Autarch looked at one of his Kommando's. The Kommando shrugged and the Autarch nodded. "I don't see why not. Think you can handle him?" The Autarch chuckled jokingly. After seeing Athena's action the Kommando's pulled their knives out again while Radec stood and pulled out his sword.

Suddenly Athena sized up in anger and moved past the Hyperion diplomat and pinned the president to the wall holding him by his throat.

The minister sat next to the President, trying to stop his fever that was beginning, trying to calm his nervous breakdown, and stop a cardiac arrest. He knew if help didnt come soon, his heart would be damaged and the breakdown make him unstable. Even more, he may die.

The minister found the phone and the card. "Look, this is a module holding how to translate Hyperish into Greek or Arabic. Here's the phone. Upload it to yourself and check and it'll prove no EMP bombs were ordered." The minister knew himself that no such thing happened, as he had checked the presidents phone after contacting the MARK X shippers.

Radec shrugged. "As you wish Fraulein. What do we do with him?" He pointed the tip of his sword at the president.

As the president was evacuated in to the hallway outside of the conference room, he checked his wrist watch. It was 1:34 back in the homeland. He gave a small smirk as he thought of what had happened. At 1:00, Reilark and Seriph agreed to launch a strike on Fort York. In 10 minutes, the 6 destroyers and 2 aircraft carriers from the naval fleet from the Pheonix War, Atomic Annies removed of course, were heading for Fort York. And, with the EMP debacle going on, he could have the perfect cover for the attack on Fort York. Oh boy, he was going to enjoy this. He was going to sit back and watch the fire works.

Athena put the dagger away and grabbed the phone and chip with her spare hand.
"... such primative technology, even the "smart"phones of Neo-assyria and Prussia are better..."
Suddenly a glow erupted from her hand that held the phone and chip.

she let her grip slack on the President as the nanobots healed his heart.
"but how would I know if its not a code....."
She then retreaved all the nanobots from his body before throwing the Hyperion president onto the most cushioned seat.
"tell me, what if the missile WAS this mark 10 you talked about, and what if hyperion city was code named for this meeting?"
She glared at the hyperion representative.
"here, Autarch, catch, see if you can make anything out of this, pass it to Seriph when you're done"
She did gently tossed the phone and chip over to the Autarch, and pulled the shield off her back.
The shield suddenly had glowing lines running through it and started making a sound, like a railgun being charged up.
"Frankly, I wouldn't give a damn at this point if you were attacked. However protocol requires us to defend the weakest nation."

The minister fretted. He himself may of got a nervous breakdown. He decided to go in the Hal and relax, maybe play a phone game. When he got outside, he got a text: NAE fleet spotted near Fort York. Possible war purposes. Proceed for Defence?" He texted no, as there was no way they would attack during a peace conference.

Would they?

Would they use the EMP debacle as cover? like Pheonix did with a Conference?

Were THEY responsible for the EMP?

But just to be sure, he showed Athena the text and told her what he thought. He made sure to add he was likely just over-reacting, as it was probably a guarded trade fleet. But he thought off how they said little trade happened. He shook it off and sat down.

"Autarch, sorry about this, but due to the recent events, the Global SWoD system has gone full activation, any and all military action against another country will be treated with lethal force, we don't have control of the system right now, its gone full automation, and it will be for the next 12 hours. Just telling you, so you dont have to worry about anyone invading you."

Admiral Gyis was standing on the main deck. He looked through a pair of binoculars to see the heavily fortified city. He grinned. "Ah," he said, "smell that fresh, salty sea air. Good, isn't it?" he asked to a sailor standing next to him. "Ha," he continued, "I love the sea. But this city, on the other hand... I don't want to see a single Hyperion when this is over, you hear me?" he told the sailor next to him. The soldier saluted.
"Yes, sir!" he yelled. All 6 ships fired most of their guns at the same time, all propelling towards Fort York. F-16s and F-18s flew off the decks of the Aircraft Carriers, towards the land. Another war had begun, except this wouldn't be a war. It would be like a man fighting an ant. It would be one of the easiest wars the empire has ever fought, thought Gyis

"Well...the president will kill me for this...he tends to talk in is sleep. If he thinks its his mom or dad, he answers anything with complete honesty. I use it to get the truth out if him." The minister then rumbled in a deep, neutral male voice,"Son, are you in Prussia or in Great Holy Prussia, or in Hyperion?" He heard the president respond in a kid voice,"I'm in Great Holy Prussia daddy. Let me sleep." He turned to Athena. "See? Any question, 100% honesty. And why is your shield out? What do you mean defend us? And I thought new Emphillion was weaker. By a little."

Edward stood at that moment in shock. "Will those war machines and beasts come near my colony or any of the others? I would prefer that no else be invaded in the next 12 hours, especially my colony. My military doesn't have the strength to fight against your forces," he said to Athena.

Suddenly, the royal guards outside the building surged into the room pushing down guards and 1 Kommando. "Sir, an assault on Fort York has been detected! A full battle fleet has begun an artillery turret fire on the fort, and aircraft have been detected flying into the area! The air Defence system is going mad, and the scientist are trying to evacuate the machine! We believe NAE is behind this!" The diplomat grew angry, and looked at the NAE diplomats seat. He wasn't there. "WHERE IS THE BASTARD? LOCK THIS PLACE DOWN! ORDER FULL MILITARY SPECIAL OPS MOVEMENT!" As orders were carried, 3 Apache helicopters, 8 tanks, 4 humvees, 2 Panthors, and 40 special op marines were deployed and the machine was being evacuated.

"Athena, our troops are defending ourselves! Let them live as we are defending." A royal guard rushed in. "Sir, Fort York is being attacked by confirmed NAE ships! We need to fire the missiles in the event of worst!" The minister shuttered. "No. I wouldn't wish the devil to suffer those missiles."
