Soldiers began to land in aircraft near Dramsk. These aircraft dropped off atleast 2,000 soldiers. Another wave of 2,000 was expected by tomorrow. The 2,000 that were in Dramsk were headed off towards the other towns in the colony. They would act as the militia, along side any other willing citizen. General Fhyr was also dropped off amongst the soldiers. He would travel from town-to-town, training the citizens and any other under-performing soldier within the ranks of the militia.

The SWoD system was an beehive of activity, hundreds of fabricators were active, spewing hundreds of tonnes of materials out into space where construction chassis collected them and used it to build more chassis and upgrade the orbital grid. Something large was coming. And they knew it.

Gormonsk Testing Facility, undisclosed location, New Emphillon territory
General Ramses arrived at the facility just after sunset. Upon landing, Ramses retired to his quarters to review the results of the military equipment being tested for New Emphillon's use. As he lied down in his bunk, he found not just the test results, but an update on the AN602 prototype.

He scanned the update and grinned. Everything was on schedule, even a day ahead. The fission primary was finished and the thermonuclear secondary was nearing completion. And with the discovery of the raw material cache, the amount of lead necessary to build the third stage was easily collected and shipped to the facility. Lastly, half of the casing was completed and only required the internal components. According to the scientists and engineers, the bomb will be complete within the next month and a half.

Satisfied, Ramses looked through the results of the tests and deemed which vehicles would enter military service. He authorized the Independence and Freedom-class frigates for service, along with the Centurion Mk 10 and Leopard 1A5 light tanks. He even authorized the production of Bismarck and Montana-class battleships for Emphillonian Navy. The Admiral Kipper and Kirov classes would serve the role of heavy cruisers. Further testing was required for the Yamamoto-class battleship and some engineers recommended that the Kirov-class be given at least two 16 in. guns for storming beaches.

With that out of the way, Ramses continued to plan as to where he was going to test his nuclear weapons and as to when he should implement his plan to kill Edward.

Our dear Kaiser has been assassinated, last night. He was near his house, walking, when he was shot in both legs, and in the head, in a total of 3 shots. There will be a funeral of him, and his son, Eberhard the 2nd, is now the new Leader of Prussia, the new Kaiser of Prussia. Shall god give him the right path for our Fatherland!

Many people in Eberhard Island mourn the loss of Eberhard the 1st, but a little confused with what Eberhard the 2nd promises.

3 types of APC/IFV's
9.. different types of MBT's
3 types of battleships
3 types of destroyers

5 different fighters?
The amount of money for all that would be enormous..

OOC: As of right now I'm trying to figure out as to what would be good for the military of my nation. Most of what I have is currently being considered to enter the military service and if it is in the military, it is in small amounts or in the prototype stage due to the cost of operating such a large amount of armor. For example, when I test a military vehicle, I use one prototype of each to field test. But if the vehicle is a battleship or something of equal size or cost, then I use a computer simulation to test the vehicle. The only vehicles I have a large amount of (meaning more than 75) is the BMP-2, T-34-85M2, and the Shilka AA unit. Aside from that, I have a small military, due to the cost of operating it.

OOC: Then if you have a Leo 2A7, why is the A1 in prototype stage? Or being considered to enter service. One or the other.

OOC: The Leopard 2A7 is currently being considered by the New Emphillonian Department of Defense, however the Leopard 1A5 is in the prototype stage because the 1A5 is a light tank that can be produced in large numbers and be effective in combat. The Leopard 2A7, however, is a highly-expensive and experimental MBT that would take time to produce, although it would be much more effective in combat than the 1A5, which is why the 2A7 is an MBT. It is a toss up right now as to what tanks, if any others, will join the ranks of the New Emphillonian armored divisions.

OOC: Explain that to the nations who use both in their military, such as Canada, Norway, Denmark, etc. And the 1A5 is only a temporary installment in New Emphillon's armored divisions. Both the Centurion and the Leopard 1 are going to serve as support vehicles for the heavier T-34-85M2 and the Black Eagle. I hope to have another MBT join the armored division and once that happens, the Leopard 1A5 will be phased out and be replaced by the Centurion and the T-34-85M2.

As the second wave of soldiers flew in to Dramsk, the others, whom were already in the colony, were spreading out through-out the country side. They began to set up make-shift barracks for shelter, but many decided to stay in the taverns in the area. The new wave of soldiers, under the command of Sergeant Olue, were still unloading equipment from their planes.
Colonial President Seriph then ordered for 3 more destroyers to be brought to the colony, in case if tensions between Prussia and the Empire escalate once more. The destroyers would reach the colony within the next 48 hours.

OOC: Ok. Perhaps Slipspacia has a point. But I'm only looking for at least 2 MBTs and at least 1 support tank. That way, I can have an armored division that has both numbers and force. Maybe I'll just drop the rest of the tanks and just settle for the Leopard 2A7. I've been playing a lot of Wargame: European Escalation and the beta for the sequel, AirLand Battle, and those are kinda affecting my judgment on as to what to give my military. And thanks for the luck, but I will take donations of money or ammunition.

How is it? I've been wanting to try it but having to worry about fuel and ammo just discourages me..

OOC: The beta is a little laggy, however it is pretty good overall. There is a lot of new units and as for fuel and ammunition that is not a problem. Jets do consume a lot of fuel, but they are resupplied off map and don't waste any of your supplies. There are also a lot more command units and plenty of supply vehicles around. And as for decks, the only limit you have is that you are given only 35 points to put units into your deck, so you can have as many tanks or jets or even infantry as you want, in contrast of European Escalation, which only gave you 25 points and had a limit of five units per category. It's really fun.

Neo-Assyrian Colonial Fleet, International Waters
Life in the naval fleet in the past day have been tense. They were ordered to be readied for a possible battle, but they were hoping that a battle would not come. Then, Admiral Uryss, the commander of the fleet, received a telegram from the President. The message said as follows:

With Prussia being at war with a nation trying to reinstate its previous government, I order you to surround Eberhard Island and cut off resources going in or out, in order to protect our allies. If you or any ship sees a cargo ship, destroy it. If you or any ship sees a transport aircraft, destroy it. We don't want to take any chances of matierials from this colony to be used for the enemy. I hope for the best in this mission ~ President Patrick Reilark

Uryss then ordered for the fleet, consisting of 6 destroyers and 2 aircraft carriers, to go for Eberhard Island. And even though Uryss knew this wasn't a war yet, he had a feeling that it would begin one.

If you ever need assistance, which I highly doubt knowing the power of your military, I would gladly send you reinforcements or supplies to honor the alliance we have established. If reinforcements are needed I will commit the one infantry division, one armored divison, one air wing, and a small Kampfgroup of a few naval vessels.

The president then got on to a private plane heading for Zurich. He then began to reply to a few messages that he recieved.

I accept your offer. I am coming to Zurich right now and I should be able to speak with you within 12 hours. I hope that this peace conference won't turn out like the other ones... ~ Patrick Reilark

He then reclined in to the comfortable seats on the plane and took a sip from a cup. He was relaxed and had a feeling that things in the conference would be alright.
Meanwhile, 12 Treisk guards (The equivalent to the Secret Service) boarded a passenger plane, posed as civilians, going to Zurich. They brought with them breif cases, carrying Colt M1911 pistols and 3 extended magazines. The flight would land shortly after the President's and the agents would then go to a hotel several miles out from the Peace Summit and wait until they might be needed

After hearing of the new leader of Great Holy Prussia and the international situation, Ramses believed he found the opportunity he was looking for. He knew that since Edward has many friends in the NAE and the SWoD, it would be best to tie those two colonies up, so that Ramses could dispose of the fool without any interference. To do that, he would need the perfect distraction and a NAE barge at Kolsak Harbor provided the perfect vehicle to carry the distraction, the internal components of the AN602.

He ordered a convoy to be formed and for the bomb to be placed in a shipping crate with NAE credentials, much to the engineers' objections. Meanwhile, he had three SpecOps team sent aboard the NAE vessel to force the crew to work for New Emphillon and were given the order to kill any unruly NAE member. And all were ordered to use radio silence. Any communications could be picked up by the SWoD and foil the whole operation. Especially if the Athena bitch heard anything, Ramses thought.

The convoy was on the move within an hour and would arrive at Kolsak within three hours. There wasn't anything out of place in the convoy, which consisted of two BMP-2s and five Ural 375s, with one carrying the bomb and the rest carrying troops and ammunition.

With everything in place, all Ramses could do was sit and wait. If he believed in a God, he would have prayed for his plan to succeed. Instead, he just returned back to his work to try and cover his intentions from anyone on the base.

Neo-Assyrian Barge
Most of the crew complied, accept for one. His name was John Lerae. While most of the crew were going on with their business, with gun's pointed at their heads, John was still trying to fight the NE invaders. He was flipping off some of his captors and taunting them. It would only be a matter of time before something happens to him...
Naval Trade & Commerce (NT&C) Head Quarters, Urnii
Henry Gherin, president of the NT&C, was sitting in his office until a man rushed in to his office. "Sir," the man said, "We have lost all communications with the Ferishaq!"
"What?!" replied Henry. "That barge is carrying precious cargo! Where was it last located?"
"It was out at sea," answered the man, "Near the Ardentes." Henry then thought to himself about what he should do now.
"Wait 24 hours. It could just be a minor radio problem." ordered Henry.
"Yes sir!" said the man. Then, he walked out the door and back to his workplace, as if nothing ever happened.

[New Emphillon]

The NAE crew continued to work during their imprisonment. However, one crew member was being disrespectful and could cause the rest of the personnel to act in a similar fashion or riot against the teams. A sergeant with a silenced MP5 fixed that problem.

As the sergeant disposed of the body, the convoy arrived and loaded up the ship with the bomb (the troops were unsure as to what was inside the crate, but they didn't want to go against orders) and a few looked into the shipping crates the barge was carrying and found something of value.

The ship was carrying oil, iron ore, and various other commodities. The troops left the cargo, thinking it would look a little suspicious if a barge had no cargo except for one crate. With everything loaded up, the troops left the barge and the left back for Gormonsk, while the Ferishaq left the harbor for Great Holy Prussia, which would be a five day trip.

The bomb was on a timer set for 5:02:00:00 (days: hours: minutes: seconds), with two spare hours for the SpecOps teams and the crews to get to a safe distance from the barge before detonation. Everything is going according to plan, Ramses thought.
