As the soldiers land in the colony, they immediately begin setting up more bases in the country side. They were unloading M-89 Tanks from transport planes and opening crates of supplies, such as sand-bags and ammunition. M2 Machine Guns were also being set up in the bases, in order to scare off potential terrorists or small militias from attacking the colony.

As Edward returned back to his office in Kosack, he found his desk covered with paperwork. He sighed with exhaustion. It's going to be another long night, he thought. He sat down in his chair and began with the reports. They mostly contained updates on the colony's many construction projects, including a report from Fort York containing the current progress of the construction there. The other third of the reports were various issues that needed his approval. After he signed a few forms, he checked his watch. 20:12 GMT. Where had the day gone was Edward's reaction. It was a five hour drive from Kosack to the shipyards of Tuklosck. He sighed and picked up the private phone on his desk and called his home. It was his daughter who picked up the phone. "Hello," she answered. "Hey, kiddo," Edward said. "Oh... hey dad. Let me guess, you have to stay late again," she ask disappointingly. Edward understood her disappointment. "Yeah, hon. I'm sorry. Listen, how's about you, your brother, and I go out into the country this weekend and...", Edward was stopped midsentence. "Look, Dad, forget it. Why don't you just stay where you are and just work. It's not like you care about us anyways. Good-bye... Dad," Isabella spat the last word and hung up. Edward just sighed and hung up his phone. Teenagers, he grumped. Ever since he became the president of the colony, he hardly had anytime to spend with his children. Actually, he hadn't had time with his kids since... Since Eva passed away. Edward couldn't shook his head and just returned to his work. He hated to think about his deceased wife and the choices he made afterward. Isabella was especially hard hit from her mother's death and she liked to use that card when she was really upset with Edward. He shook his head and looked at a report from the Intelligence spooks about the new colony in the southwestern Ardentes.

Gormonsk Testing Facility, undisclosed location, New Emphillon's colony
After a long day of testing, Ramses was impressed with the performance of both the Singpuan and SWoD's tanks. He had engineers take the SWoD tank apart to see if what could be installed on future New Emphillon tanks. The Singpuan tanks he currently had were impressive, however he did not like how slow the vehicles were or how much gas they consumed. He would have the engineers decide what needed to be taken away for New Emphillon's version of the tank. After forwarding another report to Kosack, Ramses returned to his quarters and enjoyed some alone time. He pulled out his novel, sat in his chair, and poured himself a glass of scotch.

OOC: Calm down. Ramses was just listing some improvements that the tank can have later on. He wasn't going to improve the tanks you gave to New Emphillon, which were given to the colony for Edward to consider adopting the design. The tank prototypes will be returned to Singpu unmodified.

The Holy Minister sat down in his office and called his wife. "Hello, Allie. I need to stay in the Cathedral another night, I'm afraid." He heard a sigh on the line. "Jacob, you never come home now. You always stay in the cathedral!" He let out a sigh of his own. "I know. But, we are building a second suite with 4 rooms. We could move here with the kids, it would make it easier." His wife was silent for a moment. "Okay Jacob. We'll move in soon enough. Also, the kids wanted to talk to you." He smiled and let her hand them the phone. "Hi daddy! We miss you!" He grinned and laughed. "Yes, I miss you too Abby. Tell your brother and sister I love them too." "okay!" He then hanged up the phone and sent a message to every nation.

If any nation is invaded, no matter the suspected relation, we will immediately iscolate ourselves, not communicate with anyone, and only communicate if it is an urgency of peace, which we will always do. Remember we are the peacekeepers of the continent as I think of us, and do not at all like war. We have an entire army of Diplomats, so that proves it.

Remember to keep your peace, to be nice to other colonies, and be open and trading to build a peaceful relation through which no one would think of you as something to steal since you are so close as trade and friendly powers. Even talk daily with your other colonial leaders.

Upon hearing of the new arrivals, Seriph thought that it would be of his colony's best interest if he tried to establish communications with the two new arrivals. He sent out a telegram to the newcomers.

Welcome to this great land of war and sorro- er, peace and prosperity. I am President Seriph, the leader of the Neo-Assyrian Colony. I wish to welcome you all to the Ardentes. Be aware, however, that war on this continent is common and be prepared for anything to happen on a minute's notice. But, don't let that get in the way of anything. By this point, 6 aircraft had taken off from Vulcan Air Field. 2 were carrying the same supplies. 2 were carrying timber, stones and other relatively light construction items, 2 were carrying weapons and ammunition, and the final 2 were carrying electronics and such. The supplies would be dropped from the air-craft and land in the colony when the planes approach them. But, for now, the planes split off. 1 of each were heading towards the new colonies.

Edward starred at the sunrise from the east. After a long night of reports, issues, and requisitions, Edward decided to take this time to take a break before another tough day. He sighed. How can Wolfe put up with this, he thought. As he continued to enjoy the star "rise" from the horizon, the peace of the morning was interrupted by the roar of propeller-blades and jet engines. He looked up in time to see the 5 Tu-95 "Bear" bombers and 16 F-18A/E fighter jets he had requested scream over head, causing the local birds to cry out in surprise and anger over being so rudely awoken. Edward understood the creatures' frustration. He had half a mind to tear the pilots of those aircraft a new one, but he knew they had to be even more exhausted than he was. After the roar of the aircraft dissipated, everything settled again and Edward sat down in his seat and sipped at his coffee. After another ten minutes of relaxing, Viktor strode into the office half-surprised to see Edward still in his office. But the surprise was soon swapped out for some pity. The poor man hadn't had a single moment of peace in years and he wouldn't catch one anytime soon, the chief of security thought regrettably. Viktor dropped the morning paper and reports next to his boss and leaned on Edward's desk. "Another long night," Viktor asked. Edward nodded, for he didn't even have the energy to talk, which somewhat concerned the part of him not consumed by fatigue. Viktor caught on to the reason behind the gesture quickly. "It's not easy, is it," he asked with some comfort in his usually cold voice. Edward shook his head this time. Viktor sighed and sipped at his own mug of tea, which had the caffeinated-effect of coffee, just without the caffeine. "I hope that I will get a peep from you today, otherwise people around the office will begin to think that their colonial president has gone mute," he chuckled, trying to brighten Edward's mood. He succeeded in getting a grin from his friend. "You shouldn't go spreading rumors, tovarich. It will get you fired and me mad," Edward grinned as he read the report of new colonies in the Ardentes. He thought a moment as to what he should do to welcome the newcomers. Then he picked up his data tablet and sent the following message:

To all new colonies of the Ardentes:
Greetings from the New Emphillon colony. As a welcome gift, my colony wishes to extend to you the ability to start a trading pact between your colony and mine. If you are interested, contact me at once. The New Emphillon colony eagerly awaits your response.

With that out of the way, Edward moved his chair back to is usual spot behind the mahogany desk. He starred at the small pile of leftover work and, pushing his exhaustion away, began to read and sign the papers. Viktor merely shook his head while he left the main office for his personal office. He would never understand as to what kept Edward going after so many years.

Now that he had sent the welcome to the newer colonies, Seriph went down to the regular ol' businesses. He slumped down in to his chair, signing a few documents to benefit the people of the colony. Increased police, wider and more developed roads in cities, etc. Then, he sighed and got up from his chair. He looked out the window to see the colony before him. He had seen this colony go from a few scattered, wooden shacks to many buildings as far as the eye could see, even a skyscraper or two. Life was good and everything was peaceful. Great. He began to pace around the office, thinking of new things that could help the colony develop.
