Buddhism and Hinduism all fully originated in Sri Tschow. Ban Phai is the seat of the Eastern Orthodox Church, and Islam was brought over by the Ming.

Er, Dal and I had talked, way back in the first OOC thread, about the Eastern Orthodox Church. We had come to an agreement that it would have started/would be based out of either Dal or Fanaglia, given our hisstorically/geographically relevant locations. Though we never really had anything set in stone, we had tentative plans that it may have "begun" in eastern Fanaglia, but, due to conflict with the rise of the Rothian Church, they were forced to move their central body to Dal.

It makes no sense that such a large (and IRL historically Mediterranean-cultured) Christian religion would be based out of a small, backwards, island nation in Asia.

Some brief history of the RL Orthodox Church (source: I belong to it IRL and have done some reading on the matter of church history):

Basically, a bunch of priests gathered in modern-day Turkey to establish the Christian Church and some of its basic, standard beliefs sometime in the fourth century A.D. At this point, there was no Roman Catholic Church, no Eastern Orthodox Church, and no Protestant faith -- just a bunch of relatively like-minded followers of Christ and his teachings.

What caused them to become two separate churches was something called the Great Schism in the eleventh century. For reasons I'm not entirely clear on (some of it was cultural rivalry, some of it was differences in opinion on matters of Church dogma, among other things), the Roman pope was sort of off doing his own thing, much to the disapproval of the Patriarch and the Council in Constantinople. It got so bad that, eventually, the Roman Church was like "fuck you, we're going to keep doing our own thing," and the Council was like "Fine then, GTFO and be damned to Hell." So the Roman Catholic Church was established and went on to develop independently of the Orthodox Church (which, today, is only called "Eastern" to further differentiate it from the Church of Rome, a.k.a. the Roman Catholic Church).

So, basically, wherever we determine the Orthodox Church to have begun is essentially the birthplace of organized Christianity in Vapor, which is the main reason why it would make no sense for it to have begun in Sri Tschow.

Now, as for the question of what happens to the landmass, there are several possibilities:

1.) Inoroth conquers all of it, nearly doubling her square area and population

2.) Various Amplector Nations that border Dal, including Inoroth, Wirble, and Vjiay all invade and carve Dal up like V-land ham.

3.) Everyone invades Dal, and the slices become smaller.

4.) Territory is taken over, but then international pressures force it to give it up into some sort of "Internationally Overseen Territory" like Palestine under the Brits/UN

5.) Some of the land is taken by Inoroth and/or the others, but not all of it. Then, peace is signed and Dal remains a nation, but never is a real threat and this is essentially in Isolation.

6.) The war happens, some land is taken, and the rest breaks apart into separate kingdoms.

My vote is for #5, 6, or, preferably, a combination of the two.

Is it really all that bad? I miss the liveliness of the old thread... This one spends too much time with no one posting. :c

Anyway, to make this post relevant: SAW people--how shall we deal with the situation of the peace talks?

Well, when every other page has at least one post saying "Herp it's quiet derp," then, yes, it is that bad. It's really annoying and does nothing but add to our already ludicrously-difficult-to-keep-up-with amount of posting.

Never said that. Just said that Christianity (as an organized religion) originated in eastern Amplector. Now, the location of our Holy Land/Israel equivalent, on the other hand, never was agreed upon, but I could very easily see it being in Gratia Infinita -- similar climate and terrain and it would explain their religious fanaticism. Plus, if we place it in an NPC nation, it's fair to everyone because we won't have anyone saying "Oh, why does he get to have the Holy Land?"

My throat hurts and my nose is stuffed up and I cough all the time, and last night I woke up in the middle of the night because my nose was so stuffed up I couldn't breathe out of my nose! In addition, the Xecuii Scale measures your background Cyprum count, i. e. your liability to contract these injuries. The scale goes from 1 to 5.

Zhu is a soldier inside the camp. Nerracca is the Flagship following the Gratians. What they do will not be affected by previous events not yet occured. Likewise with the Armored Convoy en route. Actually, ill have to RP a delay so they arrive after the Voerds.

I'd also like to put my Brandburg RP into perspective. I don't know how many of you remember the fire at the Great White concert in Rhode Island some years ago, but the short version is that the band was playing a club that was packed over capacity. Their pyrotechnics caught the roof of the club on fire and everyone stampeded what they thought was the only exit (there was a fire exit at the back of the club, but it wasn't well-marked and no one knew to go that way). They were jammed in the doorway, unable to escape, just like I described in my post. Of 462 people in the club, 100 died and 130 were seriously injured. I recently took a first aid/CPR class where they showed us a video that showed people trying to escape. It is seriously one of the most fucked-up, upsetting things I've ever seen in my life (and I'm not easily upset). So, if you want to see what I'm talking about, watch the video, but be warned: it's very graphic and you will probably not sleep well afterwards.

Maybe I'm a psycopath and an insensitive person, but the video didn't mess with my head like it did all of you. Yes, I was bothered that people are squeezed in a tube with a fire behind them, but it wasn't all graphic and gory, the only part that was disturbing really was the beginning when the fire started and you saw some of the band go up in the flames.

I'm not entirely sure myself. Anton is Heinz nephew, not his son, so I am unsure of how exactly it would work. But from what I can dig up, he'd be either referred to as a Prince (or the Germanic version, Prinz) or as a Imperial Vicar, a prince charge with ruling over part or all of the empire (seeing as that is what he is doing right now).
