Iten planet

The Militias that had formed had brooen down faster than they formed and many simply broke from cover and tried to run. Taken from their homeland, left, bombed, and attacked they had no will left.

West of Iten Planet

The Elecontronic cruisers had set up the communication block net across a wide array between the last known position of the Enemy fleet and the direction they were suspect to come from. This didnt stop the cruisers from setting out even more there was no crime in being prepared.

Iten planet

Armitin Ships came off warp and began preparing for battle against their evil foe. The fleet had came off warp near the iten planet and were horrifed to ser the planet being invaded, however the admiral realized a unique oppritunity the Iten had given the Armitins. The the Cerberus cruisers and Bahumat battleship took point while the other ships formed a strong center for the fleet to rely on. Not even a full minute after coming off warp the cerberus cruisers began firing with their turret guns, 192 80 inch guns began firing rounds upto 22,000 m/s on any ship this side of the planet. The bahamut also added its 48 120 inch batteries to the mix firing rounds near 22,000 m/s.

OoC try to post this before my tablet died

recap

Came off warp fired on any ship near the iten planet.

The other non cerberus or bahamut ships are at the center with the cerberus forming a cresent shape in front.

Bahamuts at the peak of that cresent

Bam! The Armitin fleet opened fire, connecting with one of the Turian Frigates in formation around the Iten planet. The order had been given to fall back. The 3rd fleet, which had been leaving Chardradus, quickly turned around. It headed back to the planet. Several ships had yet to leave, and they simply took off into the planets orbit.

The rest of the ships around the Iten planet fell back. One of the Turian Frigates could not escape the range of the Armitin fleet fast enough, and it was torn apart. Its shield generator was destroyed first, and then its engines. Without engines, the ship floated there as escape pods launched, until the final blow was stuck seconds after. Only several escape pods had been launched; there was not enough time for the entire crew to escape.

On Chardradus, several anti-ship cannons had been set up, giving the Turian fleet the advantage nearby. The cannons on the Iten planet were still inactive, as the planet had not completely come under Turian control. The Admiral of the third fleet, Darrsus, hoped the enemy would not notice the defenses until it was too late. The Turians would draw them in; the retreat of the Frigates would hopefully pull the enemy into a fight on Chardradus.

Darrsus ordered his ships into formation; the two Dreadnoughts in front. Dreadnoughts were a new invention for the Turians. Created after the Turians first contact with the humans, dreadnoughts had the most powerful shields and weapons of any other ship in the Turian fleet. The four battleships, including the Hagar, lined up behind them, with the Carriers again on either side. The cruisers and heavy cruisers tucked themselves beneath this formation, defending against any attack moving to strike a weak point beneath the formation, also giving the cruisers long range targeting systems the ability to help defend the formation. Two frigates on each side defended the Carriers, and the Destroyers took to the top of the formation. With precision weapons and anti-targeting devices, Turian Destroyers hovered just above the Dreadnoughts and Battleships, using them as protection while they destroyed their enemy.

Once the ships had been brought into formation, Darrsus had the transports leave, carrying nearly 60 million Turians down to Chardradus, where they would be safer than on the ships. He then contacted Gallthus, alerting him to the plan. He then tried to contact Palaven. It was then he realized that communications outside the system were down.

The Acturis System

In the Acturis system, the 11th Turian fleet moved towards the planet Mastis. It was here that the Turians had long wanted to travel. Martis was a very unique planet, capable of life, but more than that. It was a desert-like planet, although it had no lack of water. Still, the Turians were almost certain that it supported life, and the gravity fields protecting it from asteroids suggested that it very well could have intelligent life.

A closer look revealed cities; primal cities, but cities nonetheless. The Turians prepared to land on Mastis.

OOC:

Recap:

One Firgate was destroyed in the Turian retreat of the Iten planet.

The 3rd fleet retreated to Chardradus, and are awaiting the full retreat of the rest of the frigates from the Iten Planet.

The 3rd fleet made formation.

60 million Turians were transported to Chardradus, where they will assist in the completing of the planet's defenses,

The 11th Turian fleet prepare to make contact with life on Mastis.

Iten Planet, Space zone
As the enemy ships escaped the offensive and left the iten planet, the Admiral issued the order to not chase they had to protect the Itens first and formost. Prelimary scans showed there were still enemy ground forces on the planet but they were all in major urban zones and the Armitins couldnt bombard the cities, Again at least. So a decision was made and moments later the Tiamat sank into Orbit while some of the Cerberus battlecruisers took guard along with the Bahumat. Eventually a Task force was made to stave off any counter and give early warning to the main body, a partial force ment to harass them. Once it was ready it warped towards its desination while still in contact with the main fleet.

In the Tiamat a 120,000 regular troops and 30,000 Spartans were loaded up on a myraid of transports and shipped to the surface. Most of the Regulars were fitted in Poly-C weave and nanite + Titanium plate inserts, those few reserved for auxilary duty or not meant for direct combat wore a light Poly-C suit with a Poly-C vest. The Spartans were fitted In full body Titanium plate and nanite armor completely closing them in. all of the soldiers were armed with AR Railguns, Regblades, Rapier-66 PDW, EMP and pyri grenades. All in all they barely appeared human not a single inch of skin was exposed on any of their armors and their helmets covered their face with full front face mask that projected a holographic Hud inside just for their conviece and to give them an edge.

These soldiers were Rapidly taken to the ground backed by close air support from Irei gunships and IFVs. as they came out of the transports they either road in IFVs or kept pace with the mech(10 feet) like Battle Drones. The Armitins doctrine was fairly simple engage at range were they could keep a steady stream of fire power on their enemy and let either Spartans, mechs or IFVs take the majority of the blows. Irie gunships flew low, they kept inbetween the building while hunting for pockets of xenos to fire missiles or Railgun at.

Any Iten they found were quickly quided out of the city and any that got in the way when bullets started flying were simply going to have accept their fate.

in space 20,000 km out from alien controlled planet

The five Kitsunes and six cerberus cruisers came off warp and begain activating any stealth equipment that wasnt passive to remain hidden. Once they were ready the Kitsunes began going through targeting procedures and moments later concentrated fire from 30, 80 inch guns firing a steady stream of rounds towards a concentrated point in the enemy fleet millions of miles away.

OoC
Recap
Retaking the planet with 150,000 soldiers

Warped the 5 kitsunes and 6 of the 16 cerberus crusiers to 20 million meters out and began firing. The stealth technology works in the same idea as modern one(not technologically but in what he does from a general standpoint) lots of passive stealth measures and such.

Only the kitsunes are firing since only they have the range.

Poly-C is just carbon similer to kevlar just tougher and coated in anti-palsma agents.

Iten Planet, City Nearest Alien Invasion

Narshas and his men watched from their perches in the city as the enemy ships landed several miles away. The city had been modified to be defensible, with a small, mobile Turian base hidden deep in the center. The base was where the Turian food was made. Because most of the livable worlds could not sustain the dextro-amino acid life that the Turians need to eat, the Turians genetically grow most of their food in mobile labs. Because of this, these outposts have very powerful shields, some of which rival those found on space Frigates.

Narshas himself was with a group of 1,000 men perched in one of the largest buildings in the city. Overall, he commanded 50,000 in the city, most of which were currently bumping up the defenses around the city limits, particularly in the more damaged part of the city. Narshas turned to his men and began to give orders:

“Adephese, I need you to take your men and hide them amongst the village in the East part of the city. Most of the fighting will most likely be going on from there, and if not, you can pick them off from the side. Chadrus, take your men to the highest positions you can find, and fire on the enemy as soon as they get close enough. All shocktroopers, follow me. We are going to gather the rest of the troops into a coherent defense force.”

“Yes sir!”

Adephese led his camo troopers to the east side of the city, where they set up their defenses. Turian camo made them invisible to Infrared and Thermal Sensors, as well as to light while they were not moving. The Turian 53-T Rifles have a range of nearly 12 miles. They fire plasma with enough force to break most Turian shields (non-fleet) as well as armor. However, if it fails to do so, the plasma will usually melt through the armor, and burn through the enemy. Meanwhile, Chadrus led another 100 camo troopers to the highest points in the city.

Most Turian Shocktroopers wore full armor, usually iridium, a powerful metal found in the core of gas giants. They each had a weak shield, along with a more powerful holo-barrier protecting their torso.

Image

Narshas led his men to the ground level, where they set up the several artillery cannons the Turians had available, as well as turrets that surrounded the city. Many of these turrets were simply portable turrets that many had carried into battle against the Iten that were placed on tripods.

In a small building to the south, 200 Turians guarded 5,000 captured Iten that were supposed to leave the planet the next day, to be tested on. Another 100 Turians guarded another 5,000 Iten closer to the center of the city. Narshas hoped that these Iten would be enough to prevent the enemy from using their space advantage to simply turn the city to glass.

Space Above Chardradus

In space above Chardradus, the Turian formation was taking the blows from the alien ships. The order was quickly given to fall back. The fleet would attempt to pull the enemy in closer, their ships were not far out of range of the land defenses of Chardradus. If they could bring them just a couple dozen kilometers closer, the Chardradus defenses could aid a Turian assault, and the Turian fleet would have a large advantage.

The Turian’s shields were holding, as the Turian’s had long used their shields both to prevent heavy metal projectiles, and to use as ramming other ships. But they would not hold much longer. This enemy had superior technology for sure. The only hope was that they were unaware of Chardradus’s defenses.

Cipritine, Plalaven

Primarch Hazros in Palaven paced back and forth in his office, worried at the news of loss of communication. This meant either that the fleet had been destroyed, or that there was some sort of issue with the ships communications, either inflicted by the aliens, or technical. If the alien fleet had destroyed the Turian’s 3rd fleet, then the entire Turian Hierarchy was in danger.

He ordered that the Cabals be sent along with the 6th fleet, which had been in repair since moving through an asteroid belt. The Cabals were Turians that had been exposed to element zero, a very radioactive element found rarely at the core of planets. It gave most living creatures the ability to control basic forms of gravity. Most Turians were wary of these powers, and no Cabals were ever made on purpose. Still, they had great military value, even though they were outcasts in the population.

They were authorized to use the Mass Relay, and with this, they would be there in less than two days.

OOC Recap:

The ships start to move backwards to draw in the enemy fleet.

Another fleet is sent to the system.

On the Iten Planet, Narshas prepares his men for defending the largest city on the planet.

Iten System
the Commodore over the task force in between the planets watched as the enemy fleet drifted back and ordered his men to keep up the hail of fire and adjust trajectory. A round would go until it hit something so long as they had power they could fire a steady stream of iron rounds, Still the Commodore was bothered by the fact that an alpha strike measuring well into the kiloton range had no effect and made a note of it. He did have to reel in the more aggressive captains from closing the range and unloading with the heavier Cerberus BCs but command held and the force continued to rain magnetized Iron on its enemies.

a spaced out colum of IFVs rolled through the streets scanning for any signs of enemy troops, the IFVs mounted guns kept close watch on the skyline and buildings searching for an attack from above. The soldiers moved forwards in pairs tossing sensors into rooms and doing a detailed scan the every building as they cut into the city from the south. The soldiers and commanders had done everything they could to prepare for this they were going to move in from the east or west to completely avoid the issue of sun being in their face or behind them, their armor kept changing camouflage colors and on some parts where half of the soldier was in one part and another had in another the man cameo split where the environment split.

At this point the whole city was quiet and the ghostly feeling right before a storm when all the effort and all the preparation are finally put to the test. Field Commander 2nd Vaan Paulder look to the skies for a brief moments and sent a prayer to the gods Bless the road, the journey and the destination. Forgive me goddess, but i will serve my people. across the city rolling in from the north an equivalent force came in and its leader made a slighty different prayer while looking straight ahead for God and empire bring me the Valkyries.

ooc want to RP just what happens in the capitol and assume that its being mirrored in other locations on the planet as well

55000 soldiers moving on the capitol the others are moving on the other forces you had attacking the planet

27500 coming in from the north and the same coming in from the south. east is inland, west gets swampy. north and south are plains.

Iten Planet, Turian Controlled Capital

Chadrus and his men watched as the humans prepared to enter the city from the south. They allowed the human’s machinery into the city; they’d soon be destroyed by Narshas, and they’d be unable to detect Chadrus and his men, although they would most likely focus on them. Chadrus had his orders. He and his men had their weapons aimed at the enemy soldiers to the south. As soon as he heard Narshas fire the first shot, he was to attack.

Meanwhile, Narshas and his men watched from a distance as the human machines entered the city. They had set up several rows of defenses, the portable outpost in the center. These human’s played tactics like it was their first time, Narshas thought. These droids appeared toys to the Turians; easy targets. Of course, once they were discovered, they would very likely open fire. Narshas was unsure whether these alien machines were to automatically open fire or not. Most likely they were being controlled remotely, as these aliens would not want the native’s harmed. This gave Narshas and his men the advantage of surprise.

Because the east side of the city had been damaged in the city’s capture, when the humans began to send in their machines, Narshas had several artillery cannons place there. With this, they would have a clearer aim.

Narshas himself led a group of five men towards a small road that Chadrus had claimed had two of these human machines. Similar groups had been dispersed to destroy these machines on other roads. Narshas and his men carried heavy plasma-based projectile launchers. The calculated their weapons for s distance of nearly a mile, as Chadrus read them the coordinates. Narshas gave the order for the artillery to open fire on the main entrance, or at least what the humans were using as the main entrance, then he opened fire. The sky lit up. As soon as the first projectile was sent, Chadrus and his snipers, as well as Adephese and his men opened fire.

Space over Chardradus

Darsus realized that the enemy was not going to be drawn in. They continued to fire. The human’s obviously were not meant to fire at this range, and the result was messy shooting. The extra distance allowed the Turian ships to protect themselves with their own intercepting fire, but they could not sit there all day.

Darsus ordered an attack; they had to get as close to the human ship as possible as quickly as possible. He ordered that the fleet fling around the planet. A difficult maneuver to do while in formation, the pilots immediately began contacting each other, and making the proper arrangements. Darsus would have his fleet flung towards the alien ships with the force of the gravity of Chardarus, and they would open fire as soon as they got into range.

OOC Recap:

Groups of men with plasma launchers open fire on human IFV(is that right) machines.

Snipers open fire.

Turian fleet attempts to use the gravity of Chardradus to fling around the planet and towards the human fleet, trying to gain enough speed to reach the human fleet before too much damage is sustained.

when the Glob of Plasma hit the explosive force alone slammed the IFV into the ground and slagged large parts of its armor, but it had survived fairly well. When the crew tried to drive forward though they realized that explosive force combined with the heat and energy had ruined their drive leaving the machine a sitting duck. Other IFVs and the soldiers fared far worse the attack had were not going to be operable ever again. The attack had come out from somewhere in the east and the commanders in charge of the ground forces were not expecting it. The front half of the force had taken the majority of the blow and was ordered to stop while the center and rears moved up to put out cover fire. the other Working IFVs used their weapons, Heavy duty HMG mounted on the IFVs, to immediately began unloading thousands of rounds towards the sniper positions Tearing through the stonework of the city like a knife through hot butter.

The infantry took cover behind many of the fallen walls or behind the dozens of Short terrace that once held trees and garbage cans on the street. They returned fire with their Rifles and some used LMGs and grenade launchers to provide cover fire to allow forces to move forward in pairs. Grenades and rounds flew down the streets humming through the air as they cruised towards the occupying troops in an impressive wall of lead and explosives. the men who had been caught in the open when the attack happened or had been caught by the blast wave from the artillery were being tended to by medics who loaded their bodies full of chemicals and covered their wounds will nanite paste to save their lives.

over the battle field the southern and northern task forces moved forward at a crawl under the barrage from the enemy however the commands new they had an ace and they planned to use it. one short call later and one of the ships in orbit "slide fired" a round at the artillery position. normally a bolt of arcing lightning would drag a slug of iron at an astonishing speed but since only the reload mechanic had done the firing when the round exited the barrel it moved at a pitiful rate. that was until gravity got a hold of it and slammed it on target into the east side of town, while it wouldn't have the necessary speed to destroy anything substantial but it would shake the artillery position and take out a few artillery pieces.

The Commodore of the suppression fleet had ordered his ships to stop firing the moment they proved to be out of range and opted to just watched the enemy force. He was worried about what they were doing but there wasn't much he could do about it except report it in and wait.

OoC HMG are normally firing sniper sized rounds .50 BMG and .50 Barret for example so they should have the range to put your snipers on the defensive.

Iten Planet, Turian Captured Capital

Narshas and his men pushed forward, firing another small barrage before ducking into an alleyway. Narshas and his men regrouped with the majority of his force, which was preparing for the central thrust of the invasion. The Turian shock troopers had dug themselves in. A small trench had been created with a radius of nearly a mile around the center if the city. Another, smaller trench with a radius of 1/4 miles surrounded their main base. It was to be used only as a last resort. Narshas hoped they would never get there.

Just then, a huge explosion hit the east side of the city, hitting the Turian artillery. It was obviously a messy shot, but nearly half of the Turian artillery was out of commission, which left only several artillery cannons still firing. Narshas would not have the artillery support he had hoped for. With the weakened artillery fire, the humans would be able to break through the defenses kept up by Chadrus and the snipers. The enemy would be rushing right to Narshas's position.

Chadrus ducked as the enemy returned fire. The Turian snipers had been equipped with very exact heat signature recon, and the humans' attempts at hiding through the use of grenades. Still, with the enemy having the ability to return sniper fire, Chadrus and his men were unable to provide Narshas with defense, or as good reconnaissance. Chadrus lifted his head out of cover, aimed, and fired, hitting a human soldier in the neck. He watched as the man fell, and was so distracted he jumped when a bullet went flying past his head. Luckily, Turian camo appeared to still be effective against the enemy. Completely resistant to heat signature detection and infrared, and decently resistant to physical sight, Turians were difficult to see absent radar. Chadrus lifted his head and fired again.

Space above Chardradus

The Turian formation was holding up surprisingly well, and Darsus was very pleased. The ships had successfully flung around the planet, and were headed full speed towards the enemy ships. In formation, the Turians shields were very powerful. The 30 some odd ships barreled down on the human fleet preparing to open fire.

Ooc recap

Narshas regroups with his men at the front line.

The Turian fleet flings around then planet and flies towards the enemy.

Commander Paulder watched from his own personal IFV as his force pressed onward he could only hope the northern force was fairing as well as his. As his forces pressed on they started spreading out down ally ways and into buildings where they attempted to kill any Xenos they found. The IFVs that were still working kept pressing forward, they split their heavy fire power between firing a spray of bullet at the snipers positions and firing at any ground troops foolish enough to get in their way. The heavy machine guns mounted on the IFVs were working overtime and static crackled through the air as they launched thousands of rounds at brutal speeds.

3rd Officer, Bann, lead the forward force now that the original forward commander was dead, killed during the opening attack, He kept the grenades and hail of heavy railgun rounds firing on any Xeno soldier they could find. The grenades and Grenade launchers were repeatedly being used to clear enemy forces out of cover, and those enemy soldiers in the hastily made trench got the bulk of the grenades tossed in with them. the soldiers continued to work in pairs as they cleared the ally ways and buildings along their path, hoping to minimize any flanking maneuver the enemy might have planned.

Up in the the Sky the Eire Attack Vehicles flew in between the streets unleashing their own hail of machine gun fire and missile fire, these attacks were particularly devastating with the Eire's vantage over the Xenos and the pilots were using it to good effect. one hotshot pilot however decided to be a hero and try to clear the main sniper position, which is where he promptly flew to against orders.

Ooc
shoot down the hotshot Helicopter pilot if you want or have that be what finally clears the sniper position.

Narshas became worried. The bulk of his troops had fallen back to defend against the northern incursion. The southern defenses were faltering. Grenades ripped holes in the lines and the enemy artilley were far too powerful, demolishing turrets. Narshas himself had had a portion of his armor destroyed from a grenade, and his left are was damages severely.

However, he could not retreat, not while the snipers were still in their positions. He wold not sentence Chadrus to death. At least he thought he wouldn't. But as he saw the death toll rise, he was forced to order a retreat to the secondary positions.

Meanwhile Chadrus faced challenges of his own. He had been pinned by sniper fire as well as fire from the mounted turrets on the IFV's. And then there were the helicopters. Chadrus had seen then coming from some distance. None of his tros had the weaponry to take down that sort of vehicle. It was then that one if the helicopters opened fire on one of Chadrus's snipers to the east. Chadrus lifted his sniper, and fired at the helicopter. The pilot was obviously inexperienced, as the bullets seemed to frighten him and he pulled away. However he did so messily, and he bumped into a building. He was now spinning, and he flew backwards directly into Chadrus's perch. The resulting smoke could be seen from all over the city.

POV - 4th Officer Ryan Jafe
The 201st had meet a adament defense when they began their press into the city and on the narrower northern streets were struggling to keep pace with the southern force that was cutting through the enemy according to air chatter. In front of him one of the IFV a corner stone of this assault was reduced to worthless slag and hiding behind its still mostly intact rear a group of soldiers fired over their barricade at the Xenos. Ryan simply stared in distress, the attack was getting no where in the cramped and burning confines of the northern section of the city. The northern invasion was mounting up to be be a lost but the men were still willing to avenge their fallen even now the Commander over him was screaming out orders to regain the battle and make something of it. Ryan was still more concerned with the pressing matter and with a quick movement Ryan order his men who were being redirected from a now blocked route to secure the position and provide cover fire while another group tried to flank the enemy in the crowded streets. His men took what ever position they could and began firing while his men did what they were trained to he looked up at the sky and watched as smoke trails slowly blotted out his veiw of the once pristine sight.

Southern incursion
The southern offensive was cutting through the enemy forces with hurricane like efficency, where it was need Demolition charges were used to wipe out building or block an escape route for the Xenos, any downed or injured Xeno they came across was executed with the same dispassion they had shown the Iten, and among the exsplosians and fire the IFVs with their contigent of soldiers rolled on unleashing all their fury their technology had brought them. In some cases intire neighbor hoods were Xenos were regrouping at where reduced to rubble and many streets and homes were so riddled with bullet holes from the railguns just smahing their masonry to bits they simply fell inwards as the army marched forward, which just made it all that much easier to find xenos and put even more rounds in them.
