The Grand Borgerkrig
The year is 1870, the United Republic of Treko has fallen on hard times and political secession is at an all time high. In this constitutional monarchy two parties have sway over the people, the Nationalist (Conservative), and the Libertarians (Democrats). In 1870, High-Chancellor Erick Karl Von Zrazinski was a Nationalist who was elected to power by the people. In a fit of anger the Libertarians demanded that a re-vote be taken so that Alexander Tollack be elected as High-Chancellor, Nationalist members told the Libertarians to settle down and accept defeat. With new found hatred for the Nationalist party the Libertarians began to use propaganda to strengthen the thought of the people into political secession. High-Chancellor Zrazinski issued a reform that anymore posters or political speeches about secession were to be banned instantly, but this only added more fuel to the fire. On January 31, 1870, the Libertarians seceded from the United Republic with the eastern half of the country, Nationalist party members and the populace deemed this as great loss.
During the few months apart, Libertarians planned an attack on a Nationalist fort that was in Libertarian 'territory'. The assault took the Nationalist fort by surprise, artillery battered away at the fort while infantry poured in from all sides, the forces inside the fort were overrun within a few hours. Nationalist angered with the act of aggression began to bring forth an army to counteract this assault. Several minor battles have been fought between the two factions but that will all change, the Nationalist have come up with a plan start a mass assault on the Libertarians while simultaneously using enough troops to defend the border.
Yes, I based my nations Grand Borgerkrig on the American Civil War. I just liked how it began and how it ended. Nationalist are the Confederates while the Libertarians are considered the Union, and slavery is not around during this time period. Basically you will choose a side and you will take forces and deck it out until the other 'team' reaches the others capital. No, you can't march all the way towards a capital and come out completely unscathed. You will suffer losses on the way and the capital is usually considered the most heavily defended area in a country during this time period.
Since this is basically two parties fighting each other they will mostly share the same equipment, the only thing they won't share is a uniform, obviously. You can apply to be a general or a lowly foot soldier who follows under that general. If you're a general you get to choose a set amount of forces you have (Provided I clear you), and of course you can't just send out a mass charge as a tactic, that usually doesn't end to well. Yes, you will still be in battle line formation with the Dreyse needle gun, but that's all up to the general on how he wants to fight.

5) If you get surrounded there's probably no way to get out. Accept the inevitable and go with the rp, they can't kill that persons character without that persons consent. (Consent being the Rper)

The general in charge of the Nationalist army will be me, but don't fret. Someone else can be the general in charge of the Libertarian army. Yes, there are multiple generals but I only allow a certain amount for each side. I will also be the High-Chancellor, I will get my app up if people start to join and I will post equipment for the common soldier on both sides.
