The letter K used in context of talking to someone and/or trying to end an argument/conversation with it immediately gets -10 Transox Respect.

I don't like being judged based on what I put down for technology base and not on my RP ability. Especially one as loosely used as Gundam. It really was a last second addition to be as thorough as I could in possible technology ideas.

Anyways, anyone up for a first contact situation? Very high probability it will result in hostilities, I won't lie.

Regarding the 'Galactic War One' concept a few posts up, I think it could be a good 'major event'. But not now. We should wait until almost everyone has met.

I agree it should happen later maybe some regional wars for now and first contacts but we should wait until there is an actual political climate rather than one that's similar to bunches of island nations discovering how to sail all of a sudden.

Alright. Also, considering what the Niteris are, they have a thriving and extremely advanced cybernetics and programming industry. Would Aviats be interested in that?

i figure some Coalition scientist could beam communication signals to your people as they try and find more life. these signals could be lethal to you and inspire you to curbstomp some Coalition ships and give me and you a good first contact.

Fairly wary, if you encounter Techsins. They might go hostile rapidly if you show signs of hostility or degeneracy. If you run into Aviats, more curious than anything.

Hmm. A programming industry might have tempting products; the Chosen utilize confined and artificial consciousnesses to provide most of their manpower, so I'm sure they've to study your network patching to stretch their prism consciousnesses as far as possible. Cybernetics, not so much though. The Empire doesn't have organics other than test subjects, and modifying those doesnt strike me as an overly profitable enterprise.

Well, technically, we've already had a first contact at the Summit. I did visit one of your worlds after all. I can't think of any communication beam that would harm flowmetal, unless you communicate using lulzily powerful energy beams... Eg the type that burn away atmospheres.

Agreed its a great idea but we need to work some stuff out before we go on thats what making me post so slow on it

I figured midway would have been built for simple exploration before it was renamed to midway and made the command center. and the docks cant hold all ships that report in for resupplies and such so the Teverians who are already there start had set up a system where ships would anchor and have smaller transports move stuff in between the docks and ships.

some issues would be putting you ships where they should be your fighter flying about who gets refuel and resupplied by the transports in what order, pirates and us not responding fast enough or responding in such force they see us coming, little communication for patrol routes leave blind spots. things like this would be issue that come up.

toracco and kaderba will both be fairly close to each other

TNF and Orb will be close to each other
