Techsins, as the adherents of the former are termed, interpret the Omnissah's will for Ascension as a species-wide quest for perfection. If a civilization as a whole shows signs of corruption and vice, folly and greed, they are to be snuffed out, and their worlds returned to a primordial state so as to allow new races to arise and strive for the Ascent. Aviats, as the adherents of the Collegia are named, view the quest for Ascension as a personal matter, and this will aid individuals and maintain friendly relationships with members of many species, hoping to aid them in their quest for the heart of the Omnissah.
