Coup d'etat in Dakran!

Alright, what with all the reinforcements and superior firepower, the battle for the capital is going quite well. It should result in a victory soon, and from there my troops will move north through Dakran Island, eventually meeting up with the Iranian States.

Allied assets under Free Terran command are gearing up for an amphibious assault on Domov, after the flawless, no-casualty blitzkrieg on Vladimir Island, troop morale has never been higher. However, the BBSS-1 Conqueror is to dock in southern Dakran for maintenance, so it's massive 25in. guns are not available for this operation. In order to limit casualties, the Star-wind class Aircraft Carrier CVA-5 Nova is to provide air support throughout the campaign.

2.5 million of the Iranian States force will be sent to assist in the battle, as well as the Iranian air support. The other 5 million men will move south, to meet up with Ruk-Tsan in the middle. From there, we can take out the few holdouts, and Dakran Island will be secure!

Fantastic news! With the war in The Empire of Me well and truly over, most Ruk-Tsan troops that were stationed there have been freed up, and as that war was mainly a standoff about who had the bigger guns, there were a lot of troops stationed there. Now being sent to the war in Dakran are 20 million more soldiers of the Ruk-Tsan red army, 50,000 additional Valikov tanks, and 12,000 more aircraft. Half the ground forces will be deployed to finish off the fascists in the capital once and for all, the other half will spill around the capital and up north. We will be using 2/3 of the aircraft to be supporting the Ruk-Tsan offensive, but that leaves 4,000 aircraft that for now will be sent to help in the invasion of Domov.

They launched the transport ships, from Vladimir Isle about 5 hours before the op was to begin, the heavy bombers left before the paratroopers, as always, the Fighter-Bombers from the Nova, the Missile Cruisers, and the Heavy Stealth Bombers unleashed their fury before the troops were to unload. All hit their marks, the transport boats carrying armor moved in first, the tanks and APCs never wavering despite their 1 mile death march they now had to partake in to get past the beachhead fortifications. After the Mechanized battalions dropped, the Infantry started headed to the beach. They didn't expect to see the bloodshed that those of operation overlord had seen, but they knew that there would be friendly blood in the sands. As the tanks were about 3 quarters of the way in their journey, the ramps dropped, and all soldiers sprinted out, took up cover, and slowly advanced, the paratroopers dropped deep behind enemy lines, and secured key targets, before hitting the beachhead forces from behind, all in all, out of the 1 million sent to the beaches, 25,000 would not see their home again.

The next day, with the beachhead secured and surrounding chokepoints held, the allies pushed inland, cleaving into fascist territory, after they had most of Domov under control, with 1 million prisoners, the remaining 100,000 knew they could not stand up to the 15M+ allies on the island, and willingly laid down their arms, CDR Putin's right hand woman, Anastasia Pakohvskiy, was captured by allied forces, and gave the allies intelligence on the enemy defenses on Dakran Isle.

Ruk-Tsan can provide 10,000 of it's Valikov tanks, and 4000 aircraft to provide support. We hope this is enough to speed up the process considerably.

We will allocate 90% of the forces used to take Domov, we shall open up a second front on their southern coast, hopefully that will divert some attention from the capital.

OOC:Basically, only Dakran Isle has fascists now,and it's northern coast has been secured by allies, and on the western front, we've pushed them back to the capital, I plan to assault the southern coast to relieve pressure from the capital.

Pretty much, we have a 99.4% chance of winning this war over the next few operations.

As the bombs hit the southern beachhead of Dakran Isle, allied amphibious armor was once again launched first, then as soon as they reached the shoreline, infantry and marines launched towards the beach. The Conqueror was blasting shore positions when the Nova's radar and sonar detected a large enemy vessel, and numerous planes bearing down on the fleet, fighter-bombers were launched off the deck of the Nova to intercept, and the Conqueror submerged before heading to the large sonar hit. The allies knew, however that this was not something the fascists had available, it appears that someone supplied them, the origin of these weapons is currently being investigated. The fascists, shaken by the bombardment and invasion, frantically requested that troops be sent to the coast to meet the allied presence. Half of the fascists in the capital were moved to the coast, and those who were relocated were quickly wiped out.

When the Conqueror surfaced, they found themselves next to an old Kiev-Class Aircraft Carrier, the Captain called battle-stations, and all guns faced the enemy, at this range, with a ship like the Conqueror, it would be the equivalent of 9 .50 caliber sniper rifles at point blank range... Being used on one deer. The Kiev-Class broke in two after one barrage. The Conqueror submerged, and moved back in with the fleet.

ALL FORCES HALT ATTACKS ON THE FRONT FOR TWO DAYS. HOLIDAY JUST BEGUN. DAY 1

While the Federal Republic of Free Terra respects your traditions, we must ask that we be allowed to continue precision bombing strikes, and raids on key fascist locations.

The soldiers wouldn't let anyone out of the small town. Anyone who tried was brutally shoves back. Artillery from half a mile away was slowly zeroing in in the town of 7,894 civilians. It had been found that most of this town supported socialist/democratic ideals. Commander Putin did not approve. He ordered full scale annihilation. There was C4 In buildings like hospitals and anything taller than five stories. With a single command the soldiers immedeatly pulled out and fell back about 500 meters. Then the explosions. They ripped open walls and toppled buildings. Mass panic ensued. That's when the artillery opened up. Shells screamed through the air and impacted into buildings. People lied dead in the street and some were crushed by debris. In half an hour the city was unrecognizable. The towns name was Tzarogorsk(terrible with names )
