There is one final Fascist stronghold left. It is HEAVILY defended and the defenders will not surrender easily. They WILL fight to the death. At the same time on resort island a large number of rebels popped up. They are currently besieging the presidents residence but are facing fierce resistencia from the guards. The war is near an end, but it will be the bloodiest end to any civil war(maybe)

We will send our remaining forces in Dakran to relieve the forces defending the president. Someone else will have to deal with the base.

The Nova will launch air support for this operation, and FTN SEALS will be deployed to handle the Resort Island situation.

Presidtial guards fire at the rebels, preventing them from getting to close. It seemswhenever they kill one another two pop up. Nonetheless they fight withal of their strength, waiting for reinforcements.

The planes of Ruk-Tsan arrive first, providing air support for the presidential guard as the troops and tanks rush to where the president makes his stand. They dispatch a message to the presidential guard, they will arrive in several minutes.

"THIS IS CDR. WALLACE OF THE FTN SEALS, WE'RE PINNED IN THE NORTHERN SECTION OF THE PALACE, IS THE DAKRANIAN LEADER SECURED?"
The Commander screams into the radio for the Dakranian Presidential Guard or Ruk-Tsani Spec Ops to respond as another group of fascists reinforce the corridors to the rest of the palace.
"He's secured!" One of the Dakranian Guard pick up the radio. "We're getting him out of here now! What's the resistance on the North end?"
"Heavy." The Spec-ops Officer responds
"It can't be worse than the South and East ends! They have machine-gun nests over here! Who let them fortify this place?!" A Ruk-Tsani Officer replies.
"We're heading over to the Western roof access now, is a chopper inbound?" The Dakranian asks as gunfire can be heard over the radio chatter.
"...It is now!" The Free Terran answers the question before gunning down 5 fascist troops.
"We'll have an attack chopper cover the rescue chopper!" The Ruk-Tsani says before light machine-gun fire is heard. "TAKE THIS YOU PIIIGS!" The Ruk-Tsan cries as his machine gun kills 12 and neutralizes the western gun nests "MOVE UP!"

When the chopper arrives and the Dakranian President is on-board, as they take off, a fascist truck with a mounted minigun spins up before it is promptly demolished by a Ruk-Tsani attack chopper. "Get the package out of here, we'll keep your asses safe!" the pilot says before destroying an RPG wielding sqaud of rebels with it's machine-guns.
"THE PRESIDENT'S OUT, EVERYONE EXTRACT, WE'RE LEAVING!" The SEALs Start backing out when they see a fascist armored truck and a rebel group with gas masks and hazmat suits pouring out and opening up the back doors.
"They wouldn't..." The Commander thinks. "They can't..." He pleads with himself. "EVERYONE GET THE FUCK OUT, NOW!" He screams at his men as he lays down suppresive fire, allowing his team to get to the balcony they inserted from as their chopper comes in to view. "Everyone get in!" He yells as fascists attempt to stop the team from leaving.

In minutes and slowly spread along the island. Anyone caught in it... Their lungs basically disintegrated. Even te has masks barely defended against it. All over comms
People could be heard dying and in horrible pain.

"Fire the rockets at the island and putJ those poor people out of their misery..." A huge salvo of rockets were firs and crashed into the presidential palace and locations people were thought to be. Their explosive warheads annihilated te entire area, killing everyone in range... But the helicopters were safe.

Several minutes before the bomb went off:
A Ruk-Tsan special forces unit, still on the east side, heard the message. "Shit, they're leaving!" The men turned and ran through the palace, being shot at my numerous fascists. In a long corridor, they collided with another group of men who were running north. "Get out! They have fucking miniguns!" There was a two man team carrying a minigun, firing into the soviets. "Shit!" At that point, the wall exploded, as a Valikov class tank plowed directly into the fascists. The top popped open, and a bearded man appeared, yelling, "Get to the extraction point! We'll hold them off for as long as we can!"

The teams ran for the Soviet choppers, slowly lifting off one by one. They looked back, and saw the Valikov tank and it's crew fighting desperately against a flood of men trying to get through. The tank bought them enough time to get to the last chopper, before it took off. The men looked down at the palace, and saw the tank being swamped by rebels. It appeared some were getting through the hatch, when the tank exploded. The crew had detonated all of the shells. The men all sat down, in silence.

The Libyan Empire will offer support to Dakran, And will aim nuclear missiles at rebel bases when needed. Dont worry. The nuclear missiles we are sending have the capacity to only destroy rebel bases, buildings, and other rebel stuff.

Shortly before the attack...
On Resort Island, Barunian Medical Personnel had set up a clinic, treating the battle wounds of the coalition army's soldiers. Chief Surgeon Maj. Willans has just finished a two hour surgery when a Corporal came running up to him. "Sir, the enemy is here, they're attacking the palace!" Willans shook his head. "Impossible! The war's over, we won..." his voice faded as the sounds of choppers flying directly overhead drowned him out. In the distance, tank-fire could be heard..

"Evacuate! Corporal, get on the blower, we'll need an airlift. Move!" As the Corporal ran off, Willans began to rouse the camp, making sure each person had a task to do. They'd trained for this eventuality many times, but they'd never had to do it in actual combat conditions before.

"Ruk-Tsani chopper to Barunian Medical base. We are approaching your location, ETA two minutes. We spotted fascists near you, hope your ready to leave."
"Roger that. Will have the wounded on tarmac and ready to go. Any chance you can keep those fascists off our backs?"
"Chopper to medical base. We'll see what we can do. All military aircraft are tied up at the palace at the moment."

The Barunians could hear gunfire coming from the direction of the palace. As the Ruk-Tsani choppers came into the edge of view, there was a very loud bang from that direction.

"SHIT! What the hell was that?!!" The pilot yells to his co-pilot. Over the radio, a voice is heard yelling at all units to get out.
"Roger that command, we're on med. evac. Will pick up then return to base."
"Negative. We've got gas, you cannot land. Repeat, do not descend below two thousand."

"Base to...chopper....can't breathe...need...urrrggghhh."
As the message comes over the radio, the chopper's co-pilot says "damn it, we can't just leave them."
The pilot, looking down on the scene of carnage, the bodies spread out on the tarmac, shakes his head. "It's too late. There's nothing we can do." Turning the chopper, he heads slowly for the evac point.

"The Barunian government has expressed its outrage over a chemical weapon attack by rebel forces in Dakran, which led to the deaths of over a hundred Barunian non-combatants, part of Barunia's Medical Corps. Prime Minister Kaiman today confirmed that Barunia would not stop the fight until the fascist threat in Dakran was neutralised. To that effect, the Prime Minister has pledged half-a-million troops to the war-torn country, that will replace the Barunian troops on their way home. Defence Minister Maba would not rule out returning those troops to Dakran, and also promised that the current contingent of 12,000 combat engineers currently over there would remain." Barunian television reporter, the day after the attacks

Novgorod News:
"Today, Viktor Petrenkov, our glorious General Secretary, has made an appearance in Novgorod, proclaiming that his troops in Dakran will not be pulled out until, quote, 'every fascist life in Dakran is neutralized". The state funeral of a brave tank crew happened today, with over a thousand people turning out. The conflict continues as many lives on both sides are lost. Meanwhile, in Socialist Me..."

Viktor turned off the television, and turned to Boris. "Unacceptable, Boris. We can not allow the Fascists to get away with it." Boris looked grim. "I know sir. Soon real victory will be ours. What can we do about the gas?" Viktor looked down silently. "We will send in containment units for now, and try and keep it from spreading. It's all we can do."

Soviet Ruk-Tsan sends containment units to form a ring around resort island and stop the spread of the gas.

[Free Terra]

Free Terran Fighter-Bombers equipped with a neutralizing agent will be deployed over Resort Island, the neutralizing agent is experimental, and may not get rid of but a small amount of the gas if at all, but it is entirely capable of halting it's spread.

[Barunia]

Brigadier-General Groves, commander of the remaining Barunian forces , meets with military leaders to discuss strategy. "I have 12,000 extremely angry combat engineers and twenty tonnes of explosives. Show me this base, and we will bring it down upon their heads."

Meanwhile, in Barunia, a public memorial is held for the 25,000 Barunian soldiers who would never come home from Dakran, as well as the victims of the chemical weapons attack on Resort Island. Millions lined the streets of the capital to pay their respects, as a procession of hearses made their ceremonial way to the hill overlooking the harbour. There, Prime Minister Kaiman unveiled the National War Memorial. After the last post was played, followed by a minute silence, Prime Minister Kaiman said that "the memorial will overlook the harbour, a silent sentinel ever watching for the return of those who will never come home, so that generation after generation will remember their sacrifices. May we also never forget."

After weeks of searching, the facist leader Putin has been captured and brought to the temporary seat of power for trial.

Across Dakran, soldiers everywhere fire 21 shots at the same time in a salute to all to have fallen in the bloody civil war. At last, peace is restored.
