In the afternoon hours of the twenty second of February, all was as calm as all could be during these wars that rocked the eastern half of the new lands, where day by day, more and more men died for mere miles, feet, or yards of land. On the sea out from the Rubian controlled portion of the Navorgskan coastline, a dense fog sat on the water, and not much could be seen too far out. After several minutes, a single ship could be seen: A Genoese Destroyer, flying the Ebon Flag, and the Arretaenian flag. That first ship was followed by two, two followed by six, six followed by eight, eight followed by fourteen, until the sheer number of ships coming from the fog seemed unending. Soon after the mass of ships passed through, in the center of the formation, the flagship Karturos, surrounded by four SK-Dreadnaughts could be seen emerging from the fogbank, it now being obvious that the massive Ebon Warfleet Karturos had arrived.
As the fleet completely passed through, the number of ships was now sixty, many of them holding artillery, cruise missile platforms, and multitudes upon multitudes of fighter-bombers, as well as bombers and drones, even Hekta-Class Exosuits. The front of the fleet simultaneously opened fire, a volley of naval-guns and VB-Railliner Railcannons hurling toward whatever naval craft was infront of the fleet, as well as what was on the shoreline, before once again moving forward and bombarding the shoreline with 225mm Sonja Artillery platforms, firing a mixture of high explosive as well as chemical rounds onto enemy positions, as the amphibious landing crafted from the troop-transit ships began to make their landing on the shorelines, dropping troops and tanks onto the shore for the invasion. YK-68/YK-98 Fighter-Bomber jets began catapaulting off of the aircraft carriers, zooming throughout the sky with great speed, engaging any enemy air threats that may of been in the way, and soldiers from the mainland began attacking from the navorgskan line, putting pressure on both sides.
(Will post numbers of ships in the fleet later, have to go somewhere.)
