Worldwide MK Ultra wrote:Bridgehead in Thetopian Land, 14th February 2013
The stench of acrid smoke and burning flesh pervaded across the bridgehead as Ultran forces continued their advance into Thetopian land. The fighting on the bridgehead had been incredibly intense, and of the initial 50,000 Ultran forces deployed, some 5,000 had perished in the fighting.
Above the front line, Ultran fighters and bombers kept up a punishing and continuous routine of bombings and strikes on ground positions, strafing enemy concentrations and deploying chemical weaponry liberally. At any one time, over 100 aircraft were in the air, with 400 more in reserve in the Johnstonian mainland and more arriving from the Confederacy with every passing day.
Since the destruction of one of the mass transport barges by a Thetopian torpedo a few days previously, on its return to the Ultran shore, extra safety precautions had been taken. Colossal nets made of steel chains had been suspended across the entire waterway on both sides of the Ultran shipping route to and from Thetopiat, in order to prevent any further torpedo attacks on Ultran vessels. A small detachment of the Ultran navy had also begun a blockade of the west-east channel where it reached the sea, in order to contain the navies blockading Beringia's southern coast within their current locations.
On land, the vicious fighting continued. In addition to the 45,000 troops who had endured the initial assault, as well as over 300 tanks of the Mississippi Division which had now been deployed successfully to the far bank and the bridgehead beyond, some of the Confederacy's dreaded siege artillery had now been shifted forward to nearer the front line. 30 of the Confederacy's much-feared 230mm "Paris Guns" were now positioned on the Ultran bank and were deluging the Thetopian rear, far behind the line, with a terrifying combination of incendiary, high-explosive and chemical-weapons munitions, drawing no distinction between civilians and combatants. An additional 50,000 troops had been deployed to the bridgehead and were engaged in a strong thrust northward, supported by tanks, the Paris Guns and extensive air cover, and despite encountering some resistance were making good progress north.

Army Group East
With the war in the north reaching fever pitch, the Ultran High Command decided to try another throw of the die further east. Army Group East, reinforced from the sea and now built up to some 85,000 men, turned its attention northward. As the light died and night spread across the island, some 5,000 paratroops and other marine units clambered aboard an array of gliders and other aircraft and almost silently climbed into the night sky. Once they had been towed high enough, the gliders were released, and their own small engines kicked into life. Within an hour they, and their fighter escort trailing behind, we directly above the Insuian land opposite the Confederacy's easternmost exclave.
The gliders slowly descended to earth and touched down on the southern coast of the Insuian claim. The paratroops quickly fanned out, and despite the loss of one of the gliders, which ditched into the sea, drowning its complement of 200, most of the troops had landed successfully. They moved along the southern coastline, skirting larger concentrations of enemy forces and quickly eliminating smaller pockets, in preparation for what was to come.
Out of the night came a series of landing craft, carrying around 20,000 men and 50 tanks. They stormed ashore, onto the beach the paratroops had secured, and dug in, while a small complement of Paris Guns on the Ultran shoreline hurled 230mm shells overhead, into Insuian territory. A small group of 3 battleships and a destroyer could be seen on the horizon, in the estuary. With this action, the west-east was blockaded at both ends by a combination of Ultran troops and the Ultran navy.
Some 500,000 troops were now deployed across Ultran territory.

Please outline your reason of attack. Why would you go back to a place defended by 450K soldiers with only 50K soldiers? And with an army that numbers 1.3M around Thetopiat, can you really occupy a significant part of land without severe casualties? I render this occupation null and void.

[[Read. The number of troops now deployed is around 100,000.]]And with an army that numbers 1.3M around Thetopiat, can you really occupy a significant part of land without severe casualties? I render this occupation null and void.
[[I disregarded your military numbers after you posted your military numbers, to be honest, given that they were initially farcical and now consist of slightly less farcical but still deeply questionable numbers, not least a series of bizarrely-named vehicles including "Anti-aircraft tanks" (which would clearly be useless in any capacity except anti-aircraft roles, and are not really viable as a concept, particularly given their massive battlefield vulnerability).
You claim to have: 1,000 generals, 6,250 tanks (before I queried this, you claimed to have 100,000), a navy of 175 boats in operation around the colony and 6,250 planes operating (initially 62,500), which would make your air force in this colony bigger than that of the USA's toal airforce - the USA being a country which, IRL, is a huge defense-spender. You've also failed to outline how you've managed to move 100,000 soldiers instantaneously to the front line, given that I can only see 350,000 soldiers as being deployed, or how you managed to bring 1,000,000 soldiers into your total claim in a few days.
Also, I fail to see how "I render this occupation null and void" without RPing anything at all is anything except godmodding.]]

PEACE OFFERING TO NAVORGSKA
The alliance of The Rubian Empire, MexSpain and Lancasteros has decided on the therms that would end this conflict. We urge you to accept, as this could end the conflict without further bloodshed. Your last line of defence against us is falling as we speak through the combined forces of the triple alliance. If you were to deny this offer the war will continue til you accept. And the war is certainly in our favour.
Therms of the treaty:
1: All war prisoners taken in the war will be released. Including the Navorgskan non-military personell captured after the destruction of the northern Navorgskan defensive line.
2: The following land will be ceded to the triple alliance:
THIS MAP IS NOT CURRENT AND SHOULD NOT BE USED
3: Damages dealt in the conflict will be paid for by the triple alliance.
If you accept quickly the men at your defensive line can still be spared.

The Rubian stealth planes that had flown into The Genoese claim were not as stealthy as they had thought to be, and several of them were actively hunted down by YK-98 Fighter-Bombers, while others successfully bombarded several Genoese positions. A release from the Genoese Rhoko San Governmental Administration was soon available to the public:
"The detonation of the High Altitude Electromagnetic device was non-nuclear, and was done to best protect the interests of our own soil. A large invasion force landed extremely close to our border, and we were forced to retaliate by intervening. The current Ebon Warfleet to the north of the Rubian/Mexspanish claim is there as a deterrent, and has been ordered to cease fire unless enemy ships come within a range of two kilometers. We implore all fighting south of our claim stop, or, if possible, be redirected away from our claim. It is in the best interests that we have intervened so that we may protect the refugees and citizens who live within our claim from any harm."
