The Cerodian Overseas Territories (C.O.T)- Navorgksian border, 20th of February, 1.43 am Cerodian Standard Time

Following the acceptance into the military alliance currently invading Navorgska the troops began to pour to the border on orders from the capital. The troops are to invade the east of the nation through the border, as opposed to a beach landing which could cost thousands of lives. The troops shall be supplied by makeshift roads and by the sea once the troops reach it.

The C.O.T- Navorgksa border, 20th of February, 19.54 pm, Cerodian Standard Time.

The troops have been invading for thirty minutes, they have made much process, due to the lack of Navorgksa opposition. The map of the new border has been posted by the soldiers

Following Cerod's invasion of the Navorgskan claim, the forces in the area were orders to begin digging trenches and establishing a long defensive line. Engineers set to work establishing a long field of landmines, anti-tank fortifications, barbed wire, and other such fortifications. Any available sFH 26 artillery batteries were set up along the defensive line to provide artillery support against the impending Cerodian assault.

With the war now escalating beyond the expectations of the Imperial High Command, rumors began to circulate that the military was being organized in a fashion not seen since the days of the Great Arretaenian War.

On the defensive line organized against Rubia, armored soldiers equipped with flamethrowers often rushed up to the taken trenches, spewing forth flames, burning the entrenched Rubian soldiers. These tactics would be used to drop the morale of the Rubian troops, and ultimately prevent the trenches from being used temporarily. Several flights of Mw-300 Multirole Fighters were also on standby to provide air support, as MV-9 VTOL Gunships were called to perform strafing runs on the remaining enemy armor.

((you forget that most my tanks didn't arrive until late into the battle (I originally started with few). By then parts of the trenches were also secure so most of them are completely intact. In addition all the Rubian and Lancasteros military forces have not yet arrived on the battlefield, as combined they number 200 000. I expect casualties are around 25 000 dead/wounded as well as 100 tanks destroyed, but I will have to consult Lancasteros for temporary numbers since you're fighting his army as well.))

The flamethrower strategy would work to destroy Rubian defenders, however with the exact same strategy being used by Rubian troops it would have little tactical effect on the battle. The anti-air tanks previously mentioned would quickly be brought to the rest of the tanks. These tanks are able to effectively deal with hostile aircraft. In addition there would be an aircraft battle between the fighter escorts of Rubian and Navorgskan bombers. The tank columns would be able to expand and run over Navorgskan reinforcments near all the Alliance controlled trenches, causing the demoralised soldiers in the trenches to gain new hope, watching Navorgskan soldiers be crushed under the tanks. This would secure the alliance hold on their part of the trenches even more, leaving a greater amount of troops to take more of the trenches from Navorgska by force.

The squads of Rubian special forces that slipped through the Navorgskan line would quickly made it up to the location of the mortar fire. After observing the mortar positions for a while they executed a carefully planned attack, storming the position and aiming to kill all Navorgskan resistance.

A squadron of Mw-300 Multirole Fighters flew over the skies of the Navorgskan claim, their orders being to intercept a large formation of enemy fighters that were detected flying over Navorgskan airspace. Utilizing their designs, the aircraft would quickly intercept the formation of jets, catching them completely off-guard and by surprise.

"This is Oblivion Flight Leader to Command, we are almost a minute away from the objective, requesting clearance to engage."

After several seconds, the pilot received a response; "This is Command, you are clear to engage, over."

"Roger, Command," said the pilot, as his squadron suddenly appeared out of the blue, ambushing the Cerodian squadron of F16s. A dogfight would ensue over the skies, the Navorgskan Mw-300s utilizing their superior training, technology, speed, and weaponry to their advantage.

With no clear victor to the battle of the defensive line, alliance troops would begin to tire from the fighting. However the army from MexSpain that advanced towards the line several days ago would arrive, having met little resistance. With overwhelming new manpower and fresh soldiers they would attack the line with a combination of tank regiments and waves of infantry, making Navorgskan defenders fight from both sides of the line, as well as in the trenches themselves. Many Navorgskan defences would have been worn down from a mix of artillery fire and bombing runs, and this fresh attack would most likely be far more successful than the first.

((Forgive my double posting without you being able to retaliate from my previous post. However this post is for MexSpains army, not mine. MexSpain gave me permission. The reason i assume they met little resistance is because nothing was pointed out, despite me making several posts about their advance.))

Now, with MY post, I was not gaining ANY land, I was merely intercepting your fighters. Which, by the way, I never determined your casualties, I included those details in for effect for when you would write your response post. I never said I destroyed all your fighters.
