The Imperial Gazette firstly founded by The Viceroy of Azurand, Willem van Hers, with the name "Onderkoning Dagblad" in 1876. The Dagblad firstly printed to convey Viceroy propagandas, and full of biased news that discredited the Bumiputra (natives). After the Declaration of Independence from the Kingdom of Queenderland in 1938, Onderkoning Dagblad was taken over by The Government, and become the Caliphate's official newspaper.

Today, The Imperial Gazette printed 900,000 copies everyday, and become the most favorite newspaper in Azurand. Everyday, the Gazette deliver important news to people of Azurand, whether national or international. Nevertheless, it's viewed by International World, especially leftists, rightists, and secularists, as biased, fiercely Azurandic Conservative and support the Government.

SADIARA Renewed by Hippostanian Parliament

Waverley, Hippostania - Parliament of Hippostania renewed the Subversive Activities and Dangerous Ideologies and Activities Restriction Act in an extraordinary session held yesterday, somehow based on foreign tradition, January 1st 2013, at noon. The law, which was supported by all 500 MP's was renewed for 10 years, and it will be renewed again in 2023, when the law will celebrate its centennial. Following the announcement, a parades organized by the National Youth and the Home Guard were organized in major cities.

All 500 MPs wholeheartedly voted for the renewal.

Despite opposition from several foreign nations that clearly influenced by Libertarians, Freemasons, and Communists that conspired to blind them from the clear menace of the Communism, and also a WA nation attempt to condemn Hippostania with several fool reasons (it's far more better to condemn Hippostania for wrongfully legalizing gay marriage than illegalizing leftist activities!), Hippostanian Parliament, unlike many weak atheistic parliaments, still understand their National Sovereignity, and, ignoring agressive roars from atheistic communists, support the renewal of the bill. Although, Azurand was disagree with few parts of the Bill, as we're strongly dislike both Socialism and Capitalism.

However, not all responses to the law were negative. Several nations including Zokoria, Luziyca, Isola degli Alberi, Christian Democrats, Prussia-Steinbach and Syleru, who stand together with Hippostania in our common fight against communism congratulated Hippostania for their firm and righteous decision to renew the bill. Azurand itself praised Hippostania for the renewal of the bill, as the sign that World has already understand the Red Menace, and shall stand against it, despite many policies Hippostania has enforced don't get appreciation in Azurandi devout, conservative, but friendly society.

In Waverley, renewal of the bill was celebrated with a concert where several well-known performers including Jennifer Calais and Neverseen attracted almost 200,000 people to Waverley Hall. Members from all political parties, from the Bourgeois Party and the National Democratic Party to the Social Liberal Party and United Green Party participated in the concert, united in their celebration against communism. Daily Herald met Sonja Wick, chairwoman of Waverley-Enfield branch of the Social Liberal Youth Front outside Waverley Hall after the concert. Wick thanked all participants for the amazing concert and thanked the legislators for renewing SADIARA. "SLYF and I might support left-wing ideals, but even we must realize that far-left ideologies like communism and socialism mustn't be tolerated in a free society. Hippostania has no place for far-left ideals and views", Wick commented.

Many Azurandi citizens support the Bill, although as it's not the Azurandi national matters, they rather didn't care. "I've watched it at the television. Communism is evil, believe me, I've tasted it. They're deserved to be locked in a room and singed! They're worse than infidels." Commented Hasyim Yani, an elder. Well, we cannot blame him for has radical view; his family slaughtered during The Great Schism by People's Union.

Azurandi Family Got Lynched by Tashvuk Raiders

Eiswute, Azurand - Three human bodies, Nurhalifah Hidayat (39), Rudi Hidayat (42) and Rasyid Hidayat (10) are founded at the outskirts of Eiswute, lynched and stripped, yesterday (January 1st). Based on the eyewitness and the record of previous similar murders, the suspects of this sadistic murder are clear; the Tashvuk Raiders. Despite the Tashvuks have agreed with the agreements with the Caliphate to adhere certain laws (except religious laws), the crime committed by them are increased, caused many people doubting, is it worth for to make agreements with them.

The receptionist of Eiswute Tyara Hotel, Dinara Sinta, confirmed on that day, those family is stay overnight at that hotel, and Rudi Hidayat told a guestroom that he and his family are from Parangan, a small city in the southern area, and decide to take a vacation to north. He also asked the good place to visited inside Eiswute. "Poor man," Dinara commented, "He clearly know nothing about the city. It seemed that he awared on Tashvuk Hunting Party in the northern states, but he doesn't considered that they'd hunt until Eiswute. Espescially at December until February. The fact is, in here, they're more brutal and could be robbers, murderers, et cetera. But, oh, poorly, he doesn't realize it. I don't know, I think he does."

The family is planned to find a food stall for the dinner, and went on the afternoon. "I didn't noticed it, nor ask where they'll go, because I know it'll sounded impolite. Beside, the Tashvuks are on the outskirts, and started their operation during the midnight." Confirmed Dinara. "The outskirts are guarded by soldiers, by the way. But, the Death think otherwise. Suspected at the 8 p.m, Northern Azurand Time, a group of Tashvuk Raiders infiltrated to the city, unnoticed by the soldiers. Eventually, it's discovered that their existence is noticed by a soldier, but the soldier, Tarek Jaya (25) is still young, inexperienced, and he got killed, too. His body is founded three hours after the family's bodies. Those Tashvuks are moved secretly at the outskirt, when the careless, innocent family is walking, for jogging and searching for a dinner. Apparently, they aren't founded any food stall yet, since all food stall in Eiswute is closed at 7 p.m. Suddenly, a group of Tashvuk Raiders launched an attack, mugged anything they reached, and brutally lynched the poor family. Ahmad Mansuri (75), an Eiswute elder, is the only eyewitness of that attack.

"It's a late night for every Eiswutans," Mansuri recalled. "I was worried about the Tashvuks, but I know that they wouldn't reach the outskirt, so I went and fetched water at my well. Then, I heard a scream. Several screams, actually. I walked and looked near the garbages. I was frightened, Tashvuks was attacked three people. They requested me to call for help. I did what they ordered, but this fuckin' legs won't bring me on time. When I returned with several people, they've lynched, and of course, dead."

Many people shocked and reacted strongly about this murder. Many people requested that only the skilled military personals shall placed in Eiswute. But some people, only several people, raised a controversial issue: why should we trust those Tashvuks?

Indeed, Tashvuks are just wild. Basically, they've the human intelligence and compassionate, and many Tashvuks could contributed to Azurandi Society as brave soldiers. But, more than half of Tashvuks are life wildly and brutally, raided several cities, caused many Tashvuks received high racism. Based on AzurandPoll, 54% of voters questioned whether they could contribute to the society, 34% considered they as "animal, and should reseive same rights as other animals", while only 12% are considered them could be contributed in the society.

The Constitution categorized Tashvuks as "Non-Human Sentient Beings", but not allow them to be the citizens. They may live peacefully under the Caliphate, obey its laws and in exchange, they received higher rights than animals. But many Tashvuks are too wild and ignorant to accept such as category, and they waged turmoils in 1980-2000. At that time, northerners lived under terror, and many people build Menara Pengawas (watchtowers) and become militias. Government finally extinguish the raid at 2000, and committing a genocide against them, while almost 30% of Tashvuk population get vanished.

Few people said, Tashvuks committed this as the revenge of slaughter against Tashvuks at Camp Tard'ouqa, when the Government issued a expulsion of Tashvuks from Tard'ouqa, because the "land isn't categorized in land given to the autonomical territory of Tashvuk", and "several raids and murders committed by Raiders from Tard'ouqa". But the Tard'ouqa Grand Shaman, Niyaga A'Devan, rejected the Government request and brutally wounded the Caliphate's Emissary. The soldiers of Azurand then replied with brutally burned down the camp and killed 300 of Tashvuk Warriors and Raiders, also arrested and tortured other 76 of Tashvuks.

"Tashvuks are intelligent, have a little compassion, and also have altruism toward the Tashvuks from the sam Camp." Noticed Professor Yahya Harun, an expert of natives from Zidan University. "They don't care about others, and their principle is two eye for an eye. There will be other murders and raids, it could be far more dangerous than the reign of terror of Tashvuk that lasted at 2000s. Azurandi Ranked as Regional Top 5% For Stupidest Citizens!

Zidan, Azurand - The Government, and the whole people of Azurand, are surprised to found Azurand to be ranked at the Top 5% of Stupidest Citizens in Greater Dienstad. The question is; does our children learn? Where is our proud, old tradition, when we considered ignorance as sin and praised intelligence?

Many elders said that modern children are getting rebellious and lazy, therefore caused the lack of learning. The previous Elementary School's National Exam clearly shows this: the average values the students get are 25.78/student from three subjects (it's, however, need to be noted that the appraisal is based on the 0-10 grade, with 10 as the highest grade). It's further decline from previous National Exam, while the students get the average value 26.98/student from three subjects.

It could be, however, because the lack of infrastructure for education. In center and western states, the schools conditions are excellent, because, like an old Azurandi sayings, "More closer it's to capital, the more it'd be easy to gaining help. But, at the northern and sourthern states, the schools are horrifying. Many schools have roof that nearly collapsed, horrible (and haunted) toilets, and lack of educational stuffs, like books, teaching aids, etc.

So, why the people are, well, stupid? "No, the people aren't. I've never met a dumb Azurandi one. It could be an unexpected, unknown error, when they uninknowingly or deliberately selecting dumb people to follow their ridiculous test. Beside, it's World Assembly. It's a widely famous concept that World Assembly is full of political intrigues from Libertarians. They could manipulate it, why can't they?"

For the people of Azurand, the Imperial Gazette strongly suggested to you for NOT directly accepting a foreign report that discriminated or discredited our great nation without investigating the origin further. Imperial Gazette believe, that we're still smart enough, and the only way to return our nerdinessintelligence is totally strike on the rebellious teenagers! Lock them in their room to study! No, it's our own fault. It's not "WA's Political Intrigue". I've watched it with my own eye, I'm a teacher. The students in my school are horrible, swearing with foreign style, be rude to teacher, and ignoring many of my teachings. The result? 5 in monthly exam. The Government should re-allowed the Corporal Punishment to be used to children by the teachers, and funding our schools. Cut the welfare budget! People should work hard if they want to be healthy.

Karanglaya to Ban Women for Riding Motorbikes

Two religious polices stopped a woman who straddling motorbike. Anti-straddle law considered dangerous for women's safety. So how to improve their safety? Anti-motorbike law, special for women!

Zidan, Karanglaya - Karanglaya always (in)famous to its far more strict Sharia Law than other Imarahs in Azurand. After the controversial law (mostly for interventionist foreigners, of course) to ban women for straddling motorbikes, now the Emirate's Regional Shura Council voted for outlawing women for riding motorbikes, that outraged some of overreacting liberals.
The administration of Karanglaya is going to issued a regional law that will banning women from riding motorbikes, rather than banning women for straddling motorbikes. The reason is simple: after the abolition of women to straddling motorbikes (the reason of that law will explained below), the motorbike accidents in Karanglaya is the highest among other Imarahs. Many woman right activists said that because sitting sideways on a motorcycle could leave riders more prone to accidents, whether that was true or just their fictious reason.

The conservatives and religious, however, argued that "straddling motorbike for women isn't directly violated the Sharia law, but more indirectly." Explains Malik Al-Hirr, the conservative member of Regional Shura Council. According to Malik, the straddling a motorcycle could make the curves of a woman’s body visibly clearer. “Showing the curves of a woman’s body is against Sharia,” Malik argued.

The Emir of Karanglaya himself, Emir Muhammad Faza Diramsyah, stated his agreement to this law at previous 2012 New Year's speech. “We need to improve the implementation of sharia. The religious values of the Karanglayese people have continued to fade,” he said.

But, it seems that Ulemas and the conservatives finally heard women activists' unstoppable roars. After their fifth demonstration, finally the Spokesman of Shura Council, Mahmud Diran, declared that he'll considered to more improving the safety in Karanglaya.

"Although it's unproven yet, if your words that the Qanun caused much accidents for women are right, then we shall reconsider to repeal it. However, we shall always abide the Sharia Law, no matter how we're called 'extremist'. Then, we shall call it as the main topic in our New Year's Meeting: women shall not allowed to ride motorbikes, for their greater good." After his words, there's a clash between women protesters and polices when protesters are tried to kill Mahmud. The riots ended with the death of two protesters and a police. The provocators are "secured" by police.

"There are many advantages we could get with the enaction of the law: they'll used public transportation, so, if they really love Earth, Enviromentalists should accept the law. The law would decrease the motorbike accidents in Karanglaya if those activists was right, and, make our rank of safety increased." Suaidi Hamid, a Shura member, argued.

Separately, the National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan) chairwoman Sinta Nuraifah, again, slammed the plan, saying that it was more prejudiced against women.

“I cannot understand the aims of such a policy. Gee, I requested anti-straddling law to be repealed for also improving women rights in here, not make it lower. They like, 'okay, there will no suppression against women, but oppression'. Clerics was lunatic.” she told angrily to The Imperial Gazette.

Women activists in Karanglaya have, also, condemned the plan, calling it a lunatic proposal. “The way women ride a bike, how they speak and how they dress should not be the concern for the government,” Said Hafsah Alem, the liberal member of National Diwan Konsultasi. "We should allow more, uh, freedom of religion in this nation. This nation's freedom is getting supressed in the name of morality."

Karanglaya is heavily (in)famous by other nations and Imarahs for its strict, radical interpretation of sharia. Previously, they've banned jeans to be used by women, also ordered execution-at-sight for anyone caught to committing homosexuality action, the first, which also followed by other Imarahs.

The other controversial regulations are a bylaw regulating Koran-reading proficiency levels for prospective civil servants and a regulation to censoring all arts that is "inappropriate to sharia". Karanglaya is the sanest Imarah, not the worst. Those regulations are good for improving the Imarah's morality and its devotion to Allah, the only God. I'm totally supporting this regulations, I hope this is passed, and I hope other Imarahs will also followed our path.
