The Imperial Council

We make a minimum of 5%.
Nations must pay once a month.
I say we elect a Chief Financial Officer of the Region.
This person can keep our books, and "write the checks" when council decides what to buy.

5% is excesive if you wish to cripple your nation’s economy with such a burden that is your decision

In regards to 0.01% that from Great Anastasia alone is $124,792,924.60 on an anual basis. I think that is more than sufficient. Considering that what are we going to spend it on?

Forgive me, Councilors, if I don't fully understand.
What would .5% be taken from?
GDP? Exports only?

And regarding a prior post, I think it should be required for nations to purchase from region shop owners, provided that what they need is available from a regional shop owner.

I agree on the regional monetary account but has to have rules to make sure nothing goes wrong with it. I will easily agree on taxes. The Regional Treasurer position proposal should voted on and passed ASAP

I still maintain that 0.5% is excessive. A pooled fund is not a bad idea for disaster relief and perhaps a loan scheme. However in terms of defence I strongly oppose the idea of the council commanding a council owned armed force. The current arrangement for RP where we deploy our own forces I believe is a superior way of doing things. Asides from all that all tangible power in nation states involves WA membership (when it comes to annexing regions).

To Protora, would your emperor be interested in attending a few day holiday in Ionia, Bulgaria where my summer palace is located.

So we can say 1%. Spending left to council vote. We will create a treasurer position and vote on one.

What is the next matter to be discussed for trade and commerce?

I'm just moving it along so I can write the legislation for approval.
