And some sad news out of the capital today, as Crown Prince Ellsworth (Apr. 3, 1944-Dec. 7, 2012) was shot and killed by an unknown gunman while leaving the palace today. The bulled went quite literally in one ear and out the other, and he was pronounced dead on the scene. With the age and recent ill health of Emperor Casewell IX (b. Dec. 25, 1921), the succession is more important than ever. Prince Ellsworth's only child, his son Michael (Aug 8, 1968-Feb. 14, 2009) 19, died of cancer in 2009, leaving a son and a daughter. His son, Ezequiel (b. Sep. 11, 2006), is now the crown prince, but at the age of 6, is not considered quite ready for the throne. As such, the Emperor has begun a frantic search to find a suitable husband for Prince Michael's older child, Princess Kayla (b. July 15, 1999), who came of age this July. We will keep you updated in both the question of succession, and the search for the assassin. If a husband is not found for Princess Kayla before the death of the Emperor (may he live on forever in prosperity), then his son-in-law, Lord Alvaro Bartholomew IV (b. Jul. 3, 1957) will act as regent until Ezequiel comes of age on Sep. 11, 2019.

The purpose of this thread is to get the international reaction to the events unfolding - and don't worry, things will heat up pretty soon. I have this all planned out. AAargh has been in seclusion for some time, so your nations and their inhabitants know very little about AAargh itself, and even less about the people involved in this conflict.

With the illness of Emperor Casewell IX, and with the Ezequiel being only 6 years of age, the heir to the throne remains unknown. Albioney expresses it's sympathy with the government of AAargh and hopes that the gunman will be found and justice will be served. Albioney hopes that this does not turn AAargh into a realm of Chaos, and we hope for an heir to be found quickly."

"James," said the King. "Tell the Generals to get our troops reapy for deployment at any time. Make sure all planes and ships are in tip-top condition. We don't know what will come of this assassination and, as has been displayed many times before, this may lead to choas. I need to go sleep - I mean, fill out some paper work. You handle talking to the Generals."

The marriage is to take place on the 21st of December of this year. Once the Princess Kayla and Chuck Gressler are married, the succession of AAargh will be stabilized.

Adam Makyung's whereabouts are uncertain. One thing is certain is that he is either trying to leave or preparing to assassinate another well known person.
