The Liberation of the Imperium (Closed RP)

The RC government began to look into the mysterious disappearances of many civilians, and a handful of soldiers. The King, However, wanted to kill the surrendering Maximillian forces. Thinking it was the work of them. He told Shatner over the radio. On the other hand, Shatner was beginning to see the Man in the Maximillian Soldier. He respected them, and thought they all deserved a second chance. So he disobeyed the order and went back to Canada and protest the barbaric order.
Shatner stepped off of the plane and the press was up in his comfort zone asking questions and taking pictures. He just walked with his men off the plane silently. When he arrived to the Canadian supreme court, He explained how the king should be tried for thousands of un necessary deaths. They agreed on it and the king was to be jailed. Walking out of the building, Shatner muttered to his men,
"Canada needs to pull itself together, First Bonaparte dead, Then that Babcock, And now the King. What a stupid order that was. Now, RC is the most likely the laughing stock of the Crown Alliance." He said as all the soldiers agreed.
"Well, Since we're here, We should check out the war efforts." Mentioned a PFC. Shatner said yes and they went to the First Quebec Arms factory. Thousands of M16s were being assembled and built. Mostly by machines. While they were there, He went to the workers room and congratulated them, Shook hands, and gave words of confidence. They also went to the Nimzy 1st Tank factory. Were as it smelt of Uranium fumes and Gasoline. But nevertheless, He still gave them thanks for their contributions.

Jaaera tried to make Francis mood better, "Andy will do his best. I know he will." Francis could hear the baby get up from the crying. Vera voice could also be heard trying to clam the baby down with a soothing voice. Anala walked in looking really tired. "Do either of you got any coffee?" She said with a thin smile.

Smiling at Jaaera and seeing that Anala was just awaking up, Francis walked over to the bar area of their suite and produced several cups of coffee for everyone to help wake them up. After helping Vera with their daughter, Francis proceeded to finish up some last minute correspondents and finish his packing for their time off. After about an hour of this, Francis and his family boarded a small craft that took them down the coast to the port town of Minsov. The town itself was home to no more then 200 people, but the scenery was beautiful and it was still only two hours away by boat to Steel Harbor. Once they exited from the boat, an awaiting SUV picked them up and drove them another ten minutes to their home for the next month. Secluded away from the town and located on a small island, the manor was pristine and beautiful as the family entered the manor. Once settled inside, Francis had them all meet in the large and spacious seaside lounge. "Well, my family, this will be our home for the next month. Right by the water and plenty of space for us all to enjoy time to ourselves. So, what do you all wish to do now that we are here?"

Smiling at Jaaera and seeing that Anala was just awaking up, Francis walked over to the bar area of their suite and produced several cups of coffee for everyone to help wake them up. After helping Vera with their daughter, Francis proceeded to finish up some last minute correspondents and finish his packing for their time off. After about an hour of this, Francis and his family boarded a small craft that took them down the coast to the port town of Minsov. The town itself was home to no more then 200 people, but the scenery was beautiful and it was still only two hours away by boat to Steel Harbor. Vera holding Akoradia smiled at Francis. "Well I figure we do enjoy our time together as a family. We all been nerve wracked by this war. Let us enjoy some time together." Anal smiled. "Well I was hoping we could go swimming since we are close to the ocean." Anala being a Sea Elf always wanted to be near the ocean. Jaaera smiled. "I've never really been on a vacation before so I am game for anything." Jaaera said as she fiddle with military reports. Always the soldier, Jaaera wanted to stay in contact with the war.

Amirra pulled the reports out of Jaaera hand. and looked at her." No. No more reports for a month. You going to relax and enjoy it...That includes you Francis." She said looking at Francis. When the women where finish, they looked at Francis for an answer.

"Yes Richard, back at Steel harbor these men led a counter-attack against our forces. My men led into battle with great ferocity. It seems they remember us". Dimitri said with a chuckle. "I suppose that after the defeat Maximilian either had their commander executed, or the retreating force went rouge not wanting to be punished by that tyrant. But that is just a guess". Dimitri said to Richard. "I also believe that we should move toward the west coast taking what land we can and linking up with the Canadian forces there. What do you think Richard, should we stay or should we go"? Dimitri asked of his Adviser.

Listening to Dimitri talked, Richard was actually quite impressed that the forces of the Crown Alliance were able to take Steel Harbor and then defend it against the large host that Maximilian threw at the city in trying to retake it. After listening to Dimitri speak, Richard replied back to his comments. "Well, seeing as we have secured this part of the Imperium and have managed to take Serov with no foreseeable problems, and hearing from the reports that the Canadian forces have managed to shore up our flank, I think it is safe to say we can head to the rallying point for the next phase of this operation. We just have to make sure we leave forces behind to hold these areas we liberated."

The lady shook her head. " No, no demons, not the original ones. They were capable Mages, possible rivaling the Elven Skills. But in some cases they are not that far away. And imagine, you are hunted for years, need to live centuries undercover, not free to express your believes, I think Maximilian is only a tool for them. Even when we could catch one of them alive, I doubt they would talk with us at all. I wonder what lead they out of their hiding, it can't be only Maximilian, or they would other enemies of us before..."

After listening to the ladies talk for a bit, Francis spoke up. "Well, seeing that we're right next to the beach, I'd suggest cooling off in the clear waters of the pristine lagoon that we have here. I'm going to change in my swim trunks and I'll meet you all in a bit." After finishing, Francis kissed them all before he headed to his room to change into some swim wear before he headed to the lagoon. Since he was the first to arrive, Francis jumped in as he relaxed and waited for the others to join him.

As Reznov Saluted Francis, He and his Robotic Army marched off to find Hercules for further orders. It took them nearly an hour to find him at the Elven camp. When they approached Reznov Said "Captain Reznov of the Valo Mecha Unit, What would you have us do Commander"? Reznov said in his robotic voice

The mighty Warforge looked up and down at Reznov. He did this for a while. Finally he spoke. "You are not Warforge. What are you?" The Warforge said with a voice that boomed. Obviously he was not pleased with what he saw.

"OK Richard thanks for the advice. I'll send a regiment of Marines to each Areas we liberated. Other than that i believe the rally point is at Muscov to the North West of here. It is currently under siege. But I'm worried that we may not make it in time due to our transportation. After all we are on foot. But I believe we should continue as well. Ready the troops we march at dawn". With that Dimitri shook Richard's hand and went to his tent.

As the day went on and the forces of Valorono began their packing and final arrangements for the move out the next day, Richard spent his time talking with the POWs and arranging for their transportation back to Steel Harbor for reeducation and for training in the new Imperium Armed Forces that were being assembled. After spending some time with the POWs, Richard also spent time in Serov to offer suggestions to helping rebuild and strengthen the defenses while also going over latest reports from the rest of the fronts within the Crown Alliance campaign. Seeing that the new rally point was now at Greens-Town and not at Muscov, Richard relayed the information to Dimitri as he settled into the night to get a restful sleep. Early the following morning, Richard meet with Dimitri to go over some final details before their departure. As he shook Dimitri's hand, Richard spoke. "Well, it seems the new rally point is at Greens-Town now near the Steel Mountain Range. I'm guessing the alliance as a whole is getting ready to move onto the two mountain cities of Kingsmarch and The Steel Pass."

Anyways We'll have to cut our troops into sections, do to the limited number of trucks we have. I'll try to get more coming in by the time we get there, along with more artillery but i can't make any promises." Anyways lets get marching to Green-Town." With that Dimitri shook Richard's hand got on a horse and led the march. The Muscovy Defenders, Grenadiers, and Cossack infantry rode on the trucks. The three-hundred surviving cossacks cavalry became Dimitri's Bodyguard. as for the marines and the rest of the infantry and special troops they rode on horseback. They would pass by the areas they liberated and would leave a regiment of marines to garrison them (Serov is already garrisoned). They spent the next couple of days on march with short stops to eat and let the horses rest. They stopped at the village of Tryski to find that most of the populace was in a grim state. "What is wrong with these people?" Dimitri asked to Richard.

"The townsfolk seem quite distraught," Prince Winston said as the group of Constannian officers rode slowly into the town. "Hush now Winston, they're having a bloody funeral," Prince Daniel hissed quietly as they neared the town square. Prince Edward remained silent, watching the service with quiet reverence. After a few moments one of lower officers accompanying them, a cavalryman by the name of Captain Stedingir spoke quietly to the group. "Our main force is ready to march, milords, and the garrison unit is setting up quite well around Pevek." He stated. "We'll be along shortly, Captain. You can return to camp yourself now," Prince Edward replied, and the young officer did so.

As the Constannian Princes entered into the town center, the officials of the town finished the service before heading over to the Constannian delegation. Meeting them head on, the town delegation was made up of the town mayor and the local priest who presided over the small service for the fallen. Speaking up first, the priest spoke. "May the Lord bless those that had fallen last night and also bless you and your kind on your journey in the coming months and years. We thank you for helping our town become liberated from Maximilian, but I fear that this tragedy will only be the first of many you will experience before this war is over my friends." As the priest finished, the mayor stepped forward and spoke a few words of wisdom to the Constannian delegation. "A word of warning, don't mistake this winter here to be a walk in the park. This is only the beginning of winter up here in the Imperium and it will only get worse. I wish you and your men the best of luck, and may God help you against your fight against Maximilian."

Francis thought he was the first one in the lagoon. But his opinion was changed when he saw a beautiful face rise out of the water with a smile. As Anala came up from the bottom of the lagoon and kissed him, Francis was taken aback a bit as he assumed he was the only one in the lagoon. Nevertheless, Francis enjoyed the kiss from Anala as the others relaxed around the lagoon during the day. Between the swimming and lounging around, Francis felt relaxed and happy as he enjoyed a truly stress-free day from the war and other problems of the alliance. As the day drew from sun to dusk, the entire family enjoyed a relaxing first day of fun and excitement as Francis began grilling dinner on the patio outside. As he prepared dinner, Francis was surprised when Jaaera showed up out of nowhere to scare him.

Alastair put his arms around Franciska."Then we will face it together my love." He said with a smile.

She responded with a kiss on his lips that deepened quickly, the war was going on but for this morning there would be nothing to be scare off...

The seer cast another spell into the flames, she must to be sure, such a valid information need prove otherwise they would lose the most important ally in their oncoming crusade against the Aluvean Seas. Yes it was not only the Phoenixian Kingdom who was in need to destroy but also all their allies, within and without the Aluvean Seas. They must suffer for their crimes, for their ally with the evil that remains far to long.
All to soon the Phoenixian Kingdom would be running out of their luck, with Maximilian as a ally or without him. But for now they need him and that means they need valid informations.
The seer, one of the oldest and mightiest priests of the Sisterhood stepped up, yes there was no doubt, her sisters had failed. Greentown was conquered. This was a valid piece of information and Maximilian would need to act soon before they could progress forward.
With quick steps she headed to the throne room to give her report what she saw in the flames...

Also, there have been rumors of massacres within some of the northern settlements by Maximilian's troops and this has alot of the people on edge right now."

As it was a stormy and bleakly day, the Seer headed towards the throne room to speak with Imperialtor Maximilian Maximus. As she entered the throne room, she was meet with utter darkness as she could only see the dark glowing red eyes of Maximilian in the distance. Before she took another step into the throne room, a booming voice called out to her. "Who dares interrupt my meditation! What business do you have with me Seer! Or do I have to force it out of you like I did with the one that came before you?"

"Tell the people that this will no longer be a need to worry for we will be leaving two-thousand marines to guard the settlement. But soon we have to get moving." Dimitri said to Richard. With that he ordered two-thousand marines to guard the town. As they continued down the trail they encountered their native allies whom had gotten lost along the path to Serov. General Big Bear was with them as well. Dimitri greeted them and they continued on with the convoy. The Generals rode up front with Dimitri, Richard, and the cossacks. They continued down the path for a few days when it began to snow...

As Shatner returned to the war zone after his trip from back home, He began to make orders to give his men winter clothing. The roads were frozen and Canadian equipment began to get bogged down. Leaving them helpless to a Maximillian attack. A regiment of Marines were fighting off a Maximillian platoon at the RCAF Airfield No.5 As he landed. They were just popping shots at each other. Shatner looked at them through his binoculars, the Maximillian soldiers were very un - equipped. Cold, and dieing from starvation.

"Issue a surrender notice, or strafe them." He said along with that

Shatner was actually quite relieved that they wouldn't need to find another king. He ordered 60 million winter uniforms, Helmets, Gloves, Ski Masks, And boots for his men. He also ordered winter gun covers. So they didn't freeze. Shatner was told by one of his head officials that Humvees, Tanks, Planes, and LAVs needed to be manufactured certainly so they didn't freeze.
As they arrived to the Head base camp he recently left 1 day ago, He had a warm welcome back.
