The Crownprince could see Phoenixians joking around, gambling about rations and quite a few even took use of one of the women that joined the baggage to escape poverty. It remembered more on a maneuver then the preparations of a battle. Everywhere he could here drunken songs. He would need to keep a word with his father over this soon. Yes the moral was still high but it was already slipping. However he could also saw several divisions training and drilling. It was a nice, nearly frolic atmosphere but this men would turn back into soldier mode as soon as they need to be. He found his father deeply afflicted over a map of the city and he was not alone...

As the Crown Prince walked up, he could see that both his father and Emperor Tiberius were looking over a map of the city. Looking over, he could see that his father had his normal complexion while Tiberius seemed distraught. Upon noticing that the Phoenixian Crown Prince was with them, however, Tiberius looked up and spoke to the prince. "Ah, Crown Prince, I see that you notice the map we are going over of St. Petersmarch. Well, I will leave for a few moment as I need to clear my head so I will allow you two to talk in private." As such, Tiberius stepped out of the tent and proceeded to look over the city off in the distance; his eyes glued to St. Petersmarch.

Valorono wrote:Now blind in his left eye Dimitri looked over the battle field with disgust, Not only had this war taken his family but now his eye. He mounted on his horse and met up with his Bodyguard comprised of ten winged hussars and five Cossack. They rode through the city overlooking the ruins. Some cheered for him, while others were weeping for the dead. When Cavaro saw Dimitri he too was blind in his left eye. For whatever damage comes to the Tsar and holder of the Holy Cross Cavaro has come to protect he too takes on his wounds. But never the less Dimitri left about two million troops to defend the city and help rebuild before he gathered his men to move out. The Dwarves were still following Rasputin, though their Native allies had returned home with Big Bear after the battle of Serov. Dimitri rode with his bodyguard carrying a new scar, and another reason why he wanted to kill Maximilian.

With the city now taken, the forces of Valorono continued their campaign in the Eastern Continent as there was still many cities and towns to liberate. Unlike in the main continent of the Imperium, the Eastern Continent had its cities and towns more spread out over the vast landscape as the Eastern Continent only had a few viable regions that could support human existence. Pushing their campaign farther into the Eastern Imperium, Dimitri and his forces actually were able to enjoy a few days of no battle as many of the towns and cities they proceeded to liberate gave up willingly. However, this calmness would end all too soon as they came upon the last Maximilian stronghold in the region they were liberating in the Eastern Continent. The last stronghold was the mountain fortress of Monsanto and the its' defenders had already made it clear to the Crown Alliance that they would not surrender. With the siege beginning, Dimitri knew he had to take this city if he wanted to secure the region.

Dimitri was tired of this conflict and decided that the only way to take this city with very little loss of allied and hopefully civilian life was to have Cavaro Attack the defenders. They waited until night when at that time The dragon flew into the main stronghold of the defenders and lit it ablaze. Killing anyone inside or trapping them. The City was then stormed by the entire Valo Infantry and Cavalry which outnumbered the defenders nearly 10 to 1. They began killing anyone who was determined a threat. Within three hours the city was under allied control but at the price of nearly 2 million men. Dimitri looked over the city on a nearby hill and felt sorrow and remorse for all the lives that were lost over this war. None of these people deserved to die except there bloody leader. Dimitri put on his hat that was on his chest and gathered his men as well as leaving another four million men to defend the city from any chance of a counter attack. Dimitri decided that now that all of the Maxamilian strongholds in the Eastern Imperium were now under allied control they would join their allies at St.Petersmarch, as Dimitri wanted to witness the death the bastard who caused all this death first hand.

For that is what he has brought a peace and happiness I thought I would never have." He said with a smile. What ever trials remain, Andy look forward to being with Marie and their son.

Francis barley go to rest on the couch before there was a priority call on his emergency phone.

Seeing Andy happy beyond belief, Marie nodded in approval over the choice of the name of their son, Veryrlan. Once Andy was done speaking, Marie walked out of bed and hugged both Andy and their son before she spoke. "Veryrlan is a beautiful name, Andy. Like you said and I said when we took our vows, we will be together for as long as our gods allow us to be." With that, Marie kissed Andy as she hugged him and their son to make the moment special and sincere for them.

Barely sitting down on the couch, Francis headed over to the phone and proceeded to answer it. "This is Lord Francis, Supreme Allied Commander of the Crown Alliance. What news do you wish to convey?"

As The Valo Forces Arrived at St.Petersmarch they made camp outside of the city. Cavaro rested not far away from the City but far enough to not be noticed by Maxamilian. As the men made camp Dimitri looked for Leon, He talked to the Cossack Lt. whom was second in command to Leon. "Where is my father"? Dimitri asked to the Leutenant. "Sir, as much as it pains me to say this. He was killed fighting when you were wounded. He died bravely sir" The Lt. said. Dimitri was overcome with anger. So much that he punched the Lt. in the face. "God Dammit " He screamed as soldiers held him back from killing the man. "Sir do you know what this means?" One of the Cossacks said. "What the fuck could this mean besides the fact that this is the second time i've lost a father since this war started." Dimitri replied. "You are the Attaman of the Cossack Tribes as well as being Tsar." He said as he bent aknee to Dimitri. "I Don't give a rat's ass about that", Dimitri said as he began walking towards the exit of the tent before turning back and saying. "If we had never joined this war millions would still be alive. I hope the bloody people of the Imperium enjoy their freedom." Dimitri said as he walked to his quarters. He pet Otto who by now was the size of a Golden Retriever, Trying to figure out what to do. As he paced around his room he heard something in his head. It was Cavaro. He said " You will have your vengance soon My lord, Revenge is a dish best served in blood." As they continued their moment, Marie felt very tired as she went back to the bed with Andy and their son. Falling asleep with them, Marie felt all was right in the world even with the mishap and issue that came beforehand earlier in the day. Even with the war going on around them, Marie could take comfort in the fact that she had a supportive husband and a beautiful baby boy to look after once the war was finally done.

Seeing that it was Sorodor calling up and asking about the issue of Andy's marriage to his niece and the birth of their son, Francis let the Sha-Coronel finish before he calmly replied back. "Sorodor, I am tired enough from this day between the war and trying to keep an incident from occurring in the medical facility here. However, given the matter that even after all of the help the humans have given the Empire thus far when you were invaded, we still get treated like crap. Yes, your son loves a human and has married her and has a child, which also happens to be my niece. So if you have an issue with that, then you have an issue with me. So, unless you want to support your son for being a man of his own and not disrespect him because of politics, I suggest you come here yourself and see your grandson and talk to your son personally. Otherwise, you have no respect for yourself to call Andy your son or call yourself a father."

As Lord Emperor Tiberius was busy going over to speak to the recent arrived Tsar of Valorono, it was the Crown Princesses Leona who took her father's place to speak to both King Eirikson and Crown Prince Fredrick about the war. As her father had left and as Leona was standing outside of the tent, she had heard the entire conversation that went down between the father and son. While Leona didn't want to believe a word King Eirikson said about him dying and it was his time, she couldn't help but feel that for some reason that for all persons in the world that their lives and decisions had already been made for them ages before they were born. Either way, she decided to go after Fredrick to try to comfort him as she knew the pain that he was going through. Walking over to a nearby shooting range, Leona caught up with the prince practicing his shots. Calmly walking over to him, Leona decided to introduce some small talk to lighten the mood. "I understand what is going through your mind, Fredrick, but at the same time I wouldn't worry about your father as he will be fine in the upcoming battle."

Their night would pass uninterrupted as the three of them slept that night. However, as they would find out in the morning, something very drastic had happened over the course of the night as they would find out when they awoke. While it would be a shock to almost the entire alliance, this decision would have implications for many years going forward as to how Human and Elf relations would be treated and how future nation conflicts would be reflected between the two races.

As Francis listened to the Sha-Coronel speak, he knew that this would be the defining moment of the Crown Alliance and the war as the leader of the Elves seemed to have been pushed to his maximum level of tolerance. In his position, any other general would have given in to the Sha-Coronel's demands and hand over Prince Andy or Marie to settle the differences. However, at that point, something clicked in Francis's mind that there needed to be a stand taken as he was tired of humans getting mistreated and the matter that Elves had no personal rights to themselves. After letting Sorodor finish his words and after pondering his thoughts, Francis calmly replied back. "If your going to push me into this corner, Sorodor, I am very well close to just letting your forces walk. For you to even threaten my niece like that, after everything I've done for you, is out of line. If you wish to disown your son, you will be doing it on my terms and not on yours. You will come here to the Imperium and speak to him one on one with no chains and public criticizer, otherwise you can take you armies with you. That is my offer to you as I will not have you make a political statement just to save your own ass because you care for your damn throne more then you do for your own son." As Francis finished, he waited for the reply of the Sha-Coronel.

The Crownprince was surprised to find Leona following him. They were nearly at the same age yes but in the past they don't talked much. However in his current mind he didn't care. His skill at shooting was lacking today anyway and it was no help for his anger. So he turned over to the Princess.

North-eastern part of the Imperium

Behemoth relentlessly fired at the enemy entrenchments blocking its path, as it came closer and closer to them. "Your Imperial Majesty, the siege gun is ready again," An officer on the bridge of the Land Dreadnought said.

"Well, what are you waiting for, Colonel? Open fire!" Holy Emperor Charles ordered.

"Yes milord," Colonel Curetein responded, as the crew already began preparing to fire he mightiest weapon the Behemoth possessed. The barrel of the Aureäin Siege Gun began humming with a scarlet light, and after a few moments a massive shell launched forth with a thunderous boom. The projectile streaked across the sky towards the enemy entrenchments, before detonating while still in the air. Hundreds of smaller bombs flew out in all directions, devastating the enemy lines in a terrible crimson blaze. "Another successful launch, Your Imperial Majesty," Colonel Curetein said, as Holy Emperor Charles grinned in satisfaction.

"Well, as much as I enjoyed this game, we really should get going now," The Constannian monarch stated, as the Behemoth continued its southward march in earnest once again.

Holy Empress Lily looked out the bridge of her flagship, Elegant Force, watching the landscape beneath roll past as her armada went northward to intersect the Behemoth. A bit behind the Sky Navy the army marched, silent and focused for the task ahead of them.

Sitting on the bed next to him, Tiberius patted Dimitri on the shoulder before he spoke up. "Dimitri, please refer to me as Tiberius as we are both world leaders in our own respected nations. As Leona heard the last part, it felt like a painful dagger wound in her heart as she started to remember about all of the loved ones she had lost in this war because of Maximilian and the many battles. After some reflecting on her part, Leona again spoke up to Fredrick. "I know you didn't mean to bring up the last part, but yes I understand the feeling of losing many loved ones to this damn war. However, because of this war, I now have a wonderful husband and my father has found happiness in his two wives in Ardrelia and Selena. While it pains me to see everyone go through similar pains from this war, in the end I feel we will all come out stronger and our nations better prepared for the future of the world and for the region." Once finishing, Leona noticed their was an extra rifle to practice with so she decided to pick it up and joined Fredrick in shooting a few targets to pass the time.

The Phoenixian nodded.
"I apologize, it was not my place to bring this up. But I know what you mean, if not for the murdering of a Prince in another conflict I would never meet the woman I intend to marry after this war is over and quite a few couples would never meet. Northeastern Region of the Eastern Imperium; outside of the Uncharted Northern Territories

For the last four to five months leading up to this date, both the entrenched forces of Maximilian and the Forces of Constannia with Behemoth were fighting a stalemate battle in the Northeastern Region of the Eastern Imperium. While the mighty war-machine Behemoth managed to destroy almost anything in its' path, the landscape of the region and the desperateness and defenses of Maximilian in the region had halted both forces from making any further advances onto one another to claim the region. As the forces of Maximilian had found out quickly in the beginning of facing this new threat, it was almost impossible to even attempt to attack it as its' many weapons and defenses proved too much for even their heaviest of weapons and armor. However, they noticed they could use the terrain to their advantage as this war-machine took many minutes to almost hours to move even over a small distance of land. Still, the battle seemed to turn for the worse for the forces of Maximilian with the arrival of the Sky Fleet and the other elements of the Constannian Military converging onto the region.

With the arrival of the Sky Fleet and other Constannian forces showing up, the region began to fall bit by bit into their hands as the forces of Maximilian were quickly becoming overwhelmed with the amount of firepower and forces they were pressing into the region. Within the span of the next few weeks, the region fell to the Constannian Military and their forces. With the Northeastern Region of the Eastern Imperium under Crown Alliance control, the Holy Emperor and his forces began to move their armies back into the direction of St. Petersmarch to meet up with the other forces of the Crown Alliance. After another few weeks of travel, the forces of Constannia made it to the camps set outside of the massive capital of St. Petersmarch. Even though they were fifteen miles away from the city, their forces would have been able to see the massive walls and defenses that the Imperial capital boosted for its' population of over one hundred million persons; not even including the soldiers that defended it.

As they shot together for a while, and taking some pointers that Fredrick had shown her, both of the royals took their time off of the war and the negative feelings that came along with it. However, after a short while of shooting, Leona felt a sharp pain go through her body as she feel to the ground. When she started to regain some of her stamina, however, Leona noticed that she was bleeding from her womb and that she felt terribly weak, as if her essence was being attack by dark magic.

As Tiberius listened to Dimitri speak of his pains and the ills his nation and himself had suffered in this war, Tiberius felt sorry as he knew that this war had caused so much pain to everyone that was involved, minus Maximilian. Dimitri's message hit home to Tiberius as he understood the feeling of losing loved ones to Maximilian and this damn war that he had caused. However, it also nerved Tiberius to hear that only Maximilian's death would bring satisfaction to anyone at this point as he still had hope that his son could maybe be saved. Once Dimitri had finished, Tiberius took a few deep breaths before he responded back to Dimitri. "I know this war has caused many a pain with deaths of loved ones for all involved in this war, but their deaths will not go in vain. I also know that Maximilian will probably have to die for his actions, but being his father, it will still pain me to do so as I thought he could have been saved from his corruption. Still, we must be ready for anything upcoming in these last months as anything can happen." As Tiberius finished, he noticed several aides rushing towards the tent.

Southern end of the Eastern Imperium, Silver Lakes Region, The Eternal City of the Golden Hills

“And that’s the end of my report Grandmaster.”

“Alright, thanks for your work Corporal, now go get some sleep you deserve it.” Thorpe said, responding to the Corporal who had just come back from a 2 day scouting mission to the nearby city of Higherarch and was giving him, his wife Eilamalia and Master Kain the report on the cities defences. Apparently they seemed to be minimal for the time. With his report over Thorpe gave the corporal a salute, which was quickly returned, and ushered the young man out of the command tent which sat smack in the centre of the Eternal City – which had, admittedly, been severely damaged in the Mesairien assault with major Aerial and Artillery bombardments called in to drive back the enemy forces who refused to retreat without fighting to the near last.

Mesairien forces had split from the rest of the Crown Alliance and been sent by Emperor Tiberius to invade the Southern side of the Eastern Imperium via Naval and Aerial assaults – in the few months that had passed the Mesairien army had already taken 4 small coastal towns, the large Industrial city of Black Steel and several other smaller industrial cities. However, their attack was with purpose – to cut off the Fortress City of the High Lords and leave it vulnerable to attack – the scouting mission to Higherarch was just one of the last steps in closing the giant net Thorpe was creating.

“So, what do you think of that. Maximilian has limited troops defending Higherarch – I’m thinking it’s a trap.” Thorpe said as he turned away from the entrance and walked back over to the command desk which had a large map of this Region of the Imperium thrown across it, Eilamalia shook her head and responded; “We don’t really have much of a choice if this plan of yours is going to work.”

“I agree, it may cost many lives but this perimeter must be closed if the city of the High Lords is to be ours without risk of reinforcements or any enemy commanders escaping.” Kain added.
“If they haven’t done so already – if we’re ambushed in Higherarch we’ll need mass air support to survive it, we’re here to save the Imperium not level it.” Thorpe quickly rebutted, placing his hands on the table and lowering his head. Eilamalia responded by placing her hand under her chin and pushing his head up.
“The land will recover, we need to take this city – we can move in the Armoured Divisions and my team will keep the city and it’s outskirts in our sights and warn you if anything changes.”

Thorpe sighed and stepped back from the table, raising both of his arms and nodding his head.
“Alright… let’s do it – Kain get the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 12th, 16th and 25th Armoured columns fitted and loaded up with the 15th, 17th and 25th Infantry Divisions along with every Ranger in the city – send word to Black Steel and have them get the three columns there ready as well, we move in 2 hours.”

Kain and Eilamalia gave the Ranger salute and quickly exited the tent – of course Eilamalia stole a quick kiss from Thorpe before doing so. After this he took several moments to collect his thoughts and come to terms that no doubt many lives will be lost of Maximilian had any half decent Generals.
After this he headed to the back of the tent to his personal Comm desk and, switching to the highly encrypted channel, designated the R.N.C.C, and attempted to hail the H.M.S Archangel, the designated Flagship of the fleet now that Hackett’s Battleship – the H.M.S Jacabar – had been scuttled and now laid at the bottom of the Ocean.
He planned to ask for the Carrier sat off the coast to deploy some Raptors and keep them on call should any issues arise. The only issue he faced with securing this support was damn radio interference – the Archangel and most of the fleet were nearly 200 miles down the coast bombing multiple cities and towns in an effort to draw out Maximilian’s remaining fleet and try to secure a final definitive battle for Naval superiority.

4 Hours later – 4 miles from Higherarch city

The attack was soon to begin, the Mesairien divisions sent out from the Eternal City and Black Steel were to enter the city from opposite directions, with 65 Raptors and 40 Havoc-Class Fast Attack Choppers circling the area to provide quick support should anything occur – Thorpe and everyone under his command prayed the enemy had simply retreated to their Fortress and left this city undefended but anything was possible, after 30,000 soldiers had been slaughtered in the town Kreslau when the enemy Magicians used their magical abilities to destroy the town along with every man and woman inside of it – even their own people.

This attack would be far more disastrous than Kreslau if that were to happen here – over 420,000 Soldiers were being deployed in this attack (200,000 from the East, Black Steel, and 220,000 from the West, the Eternal City) along with over 220 Tanks, 330 HATVs (Heavily Armoured Transport Vehicles) and 350 Humvees – along with a further 240 Maria-Class Fast Transport Choppers. That was a very large portion of the 5.5 Million strong Army that was in this area of the Imperium.
Meanwhile Eilamalia’s Recon team sat a safe Mile away from the city and was maintaining a close eye on it and it’s perimeter via Sniper rifles and Binoculars. If the enemy tried to set some sort of trap in motion, everything rode on this team’s ability to quickly discover it and alert the main force.

As the convoy’s approached and entered a mere 500 meters from the edge of the city, the time came for the Rangers and the 17th Infantry Division to dismount the column and go on foot.
“Alright boys and girls dismount – heads on a swivel, intel says this place is poorly defended but after Kreslau we take no chances. Rangers have point. We all come home today gentlemen” Thorpe said over his radio (as he stepped down out of a Humvee) which was surprisingly silent – obviously the fear of what could happen here was etched on the minds of the Division. He and the 100,000 men quietly disembarked and began to march alongside the convoy, which, once everyone was off, began to drive into the city – everyone braced themselves for the inevitable attack by, at the very least, a Skeleton army of defenders.

Seeing that even the elves had trouble the Crownprince contacted the best Phoenixian Doctors as well as the few Mages they had and Black Wing. Again it seems that the Dragon need to safe the life of one of his childs.
While he waited he tried to think about what was causing this, there was no injury, nothing that would explain such a reaction. It seems as Leona simply loose her life energy to a unknown source.
He jumped up when Tiberius was heading into the Tent, accompanied by Blackwing and a dozen other Phoenixians...
