The Liberation of the Imperium (Closed RP)

Listening to King Tiberius speak, Emperor Tiberius thought for a few moments before he responded back with his thoughts on the whole war. "You are correct in the sense that we have only been here for a little over eight weeks and we have already secured almost the entire western half of the Imperium from Maximilian. However, after this last battle I fear that Maximilian has plans that will drag out this war far deeper then anyone thought could be possible. And with us losing Lord Shatner and the majority of the RC forces due to their civil war back home, this war will probably become longer as we are now down a nation to support us."

"That's quite true. Rebellious Canada truly is in an awful messy state now. I wonder if my father is making any plans to intervene there, given its proximity to the Holy Fatherland..." the King mused.

The Constannian forces began assembling for their attack on the mountainous part of the city of Kingsmarch, preparing their Mechas and heavy infantry.

"I come from the city port of Serov. I have travel all across the Imperium as a merchant, which is the reason I have acquired such an accent. I recently settled down not far from here. As for the crops I have growing them under florescent lights designed to grow produce indoors. The reason I have so much is because I have a very large basement. Now please, can you let me in I have to sell these before they start rotting." Dimitri said anxiously in Imperium.

Listening to Dimitri speak, the guard waved him passed as he had given the correct region and city. Walking past the guards, Dimitri was now fully aware of the surroundings that were offered to him. Seeing that it was midday almost, Dimitri took his cart to the Market area as he prepared for his next move and action.

Dimitri brought the cart up to a vacant stall where he set up shop until nightfall, for that was when the Valo forces would attack. "Dimitri took out his cell-phone and began talking in Valo to General rasputin. "are the troops in position general?" Dimitri said over the phone. "Aye sir we are stationed in the mountains near the city, when shall we attack?" Rasputin asked. "Wait until you see explosions at the walls tonight, that will give you a way to get into the city for the attack. And Rasputin lets not have a repeat of last time." Dimitri said as he hung up the phone. And as he did that the first sign of the moon was showing.

As the various recon and set-up teams moved through the night into the outer city of Kingsmarch, they had little to no trouble with the guards or civilians as most of them had retreated for the night as it was a cold winter night. Minus the one or two guards that were knocked out, the various forces of the Crown Alliance readied their plans for their opening strike against the forces of Maximilian and the outer city of Kingsmarch. Meanwhile, the main forces of the Crown Alliance set up their armies and waited for the signal to strike.

The Prelude

As the night was a peaceful one between them all, Francis was able to focus his mind on the battle for tomorrow as he needed to. After a long and restful night with his family, Francis awoken before his wives could. Placing on his armor, Francis kissed his still sleeping children and wives goodbye as he headed out of the tent and towards an awaiting APC. Heading out with 3 million Steel Guards, Francis and the first Legion made their way to the outskirts of the outer city of the Steel Pass. The Steel Pass outer city itself was a formidable structure of defense for any army to face, but the real challenge would lay in the inner mountain city of the Steel Pass. As his forces lined up and as the artillery barrage began against the two cities, Francis watched on as his plan began to unfold for the battle of the Steel Pass.

The Beginning of the Attack

With the artillery barrage working effectively against the outer city of the Steel Pass, Lord Francis began to have his troops charge into the outer city; meeting little resistance from either the defenders or the civilians in the outer-city. Overall, the first battle only lasted about several hours for the outer city of the Steel Pass before Lord Francis's troops were marching into the city to shore up its own defenses and set up base. As he re-organized his troops for their second battle, Francis had the artillery of both the outer city and of his own forces begin to hammer down on the mountain entrance to the Steel Pass. As the artillery barrage commenced, Francis knew it would be a couple of days before there would be any signs of strain on the mountain defenses. Taking up residence on one of the overlooking towers, Francis watched on as his plan continued to unfold.

The Charge

After almost of an entire week of his artillery hammering down on the defenses of the entrance to the mountain city of the Steel Pass, Francis was able to notice that the defenses into the mountain were beginning to crumble. Rallying the entire 1st Steel Legion outside of the outer-city, Francis readied his troops for their attack. As the artillery continued on, Francis spoke to the entire Legion. "Countrymen of the Imperium, listen to me. In a few moments the defenses of the Steel Pass will fall to us and we will be unleashed onto the forces of the damn traitor in Maximilian. This is our chance to rid this half of the Imperium of his stench and allow us to liberate the rest of our homeland. We need to take the Steel Pass and we cannot fail at any costs. We will push on and we will win this. Now men and women of the Imperium, for liberty and for our homes! Charge!" With that last bit of encouragement, the forces of the 1st Steel Legion charged towards the mountain city of the Steel Pass as the last of its defenses fell.

The Battle for the Steel Pass

As the forces of Maximilian and the Steel Legion clashed within the mountain city of the Steel Pass itself, the battle become one of street to street and block to block fighting. Fighting inside of a mountain city was never the best as their was little space to maneuver or to overwhelm the enemy. Still, Francis and the Steel Legion would spend the next week in the mountain fighting for every inch to drive out Maximilian's forces. As the battle progressed, both sides took heavy losses due to the nature of the warfare, but the momentum was on Francis's side as his forces had probably the best commander within the entire Crown Alliance leading them forward. Finally, after over two weeks of intense fighting in the mountain, the Steel Legion and Francis managed to push Maximilian's forces out and secure the Steel Pass once and for all. Even though it cost Francis and the Legion almost 3 million men and women to do so, they finally had an entrance into the Eastern Imperium.

The Aftermath

Heading back to camp, Francis had changed into a completely different person while he was fighting in the Steel Pass. His demons that he had been fighting for so long seemed to have disappeared as he had come to terms with the past and accepted the sacrifices that his friends and family had made all of those years ago back in the mountain. Heading to his tent, Francis took his bloodied armor off and flopped onto the bed tired, not noticing his wives or children were not there at the time.

The ladies had been praying for Francis safety. The stress of worrying for Francis, cause Anala to go into labor prematurely. The ladies rush Anala to a make shift hospital where they helpped Anala to give birth to the group first male child. A son for Francis was born on the same hour Francis won the battle and crush his final demons. The girls waited their helping Anala as they waited for Francis to finish the battle and find them.

As Dimitri got up around eleven P.M. He took the c4 he had in his cart and began setting it up along the walls. When he planted about twenty he ran to a nearby church and climbed the bell tower, where a guard was keeping watch. He took his knife out and slit the guards throat before grabbing his gun as the guard fell to the next floor. He took out the detonator for the c4 and said "boom" with that vast portion of the wall collapsed killing whatever guards where there. When General Rasputin saw this he yelled "NOW" with that about thirty-five thousand Valo troops descended the mountain killing any guard in their way. The rushed into the city and began working on taking the one city. When they achieved this over a million men lay dead. The Valo troops began looking for any more maxamilian troops for . This time if there were to be zombies they would not be afraid as they had many men armed with flamethrowers prepared to burn the dead. When The first portion of the city was under allied control Dimitri met with his generals.

[Kingdom of Phoenixia]

General Alastair waited for the signal and the portals to open then Allied troops by the hundred of Thosand could poor in the city of Kings march. The Allies where already estatic to learn that Steel Pass was in their hands. Francis had won.

When the time of the scheduled portal opening was only a few minutes away thousands of Phoenixian soldiers already waited and the message spread like a wild fire, within 10 minutes hundreds and thousands waited for the transmission to the new front...

The whole family was resting there exhasted. Alana for giving birth. Francis from the battle. The rest of them because of worrying and praying.

RebeliousCanada was now in deep trouble. The rebels, who were pushing for communism, Had over 10 million supporters. And possibly the support of Maximilian Maximus Targaryen. Battles were raging in the city streets, Parliament buildings were on fire or destroyed. The flag of Canadian communism was fluttering in the wind as it was perched on the capital building. The rebels somehow acquired Russian T62 tanks and MIG16 aircraft. The military lost there foot hold, The gift from Valarono, 2 Doras, were in rebel hands. Canadian officials were beginning to think that they needed quick support from the crown alliance.

With that, Emperor Tiberius bid King Tiberius and Queen Marina a farewell as he made his return back to Steel Harbor to keep up with the recruitment drives and to help with the situation going on in the RC. Upon returning to Steel Harbor, Tiberius was dismayed to hear that the situation had gotten worse in the RC. Seeing as he had about two million new Steel Guard recruits trained, Tiberius decided to send them with a taskforce that Emperor Charles was heading up to help the embattled government of the RC.

Even though the outer city defenders were outnumbered, the dark magic that the Sisterhood was channeling into their bodies gave them unmatched attack and defense as they battled the invaders. However, as both sides seemed to be evenly matched, several large portals opened throughout the entire city as hundreds of thousands of more troops began to pour in.

General Alasatir got on the radio "Eldar 6 to all Allied commands advance I repeat advance Lets take is bastard." He smiled. With his order hundred of thousand of troops enter the portals.

Helping his tired wives into bed and their newborn son into bed with them, Francis headed over to his desk to read up on new reports from the battle of Kingsmarch. As he sat there and read them, Francis could see that his battle was far easier as it seemed that Maximilian was commanding the forces defending Kingsmarch and the Crown Alliance was having difficulty just holding onto the outer city; let alone attack the inner city and defenses. Looking at the reports of the death count didn't help him much either as he knew right now at least his forces needed to hold the Steel Pass and regain their strength before they could attempt to help their allies.

As a multitude of explosions ripped through the outer city's defenses and as thousands of enemy troops began to pour in, the soldiers stationed in the outer city began to fight back as they relayed the attack to the inner city and to Maximilian. However, as both sides seemed to be evenly matched, several large portals opened throughout the entire city as hundreds of thousands of more troops began to pour in.

Even the magic of the sisterhood couldn't stop the bullets when in the middle of the first fights several thousands jumped out of the portals. The Sisterhood had take casualities from Greentown already but this was far worse. The alliance even managed to take tanks trough the portals who squashed whole platoons of Troops at once...

As the Valo troops continued to fight on and on. Both sides lost many men. Dimitri started firing on officers. He finally redeemed himself for the last battle at Greens-towns by shooting the general he shot in the shoulder straight through the heart. He died instantly. As many troops on both sides were killed it was hard to tell which side was winning. The Valo forces had more men, but the maxamilian forces had the sisterhood. These were the wonders of the troops, and that of Dimitri as he continued fireing on officers and commanders.

The war machines of the Royal Constannian Armoured Artillery Service began to march through the outer city of Kingsmarch, firing away with their machine guns and cannons at the enemy forces before them. Hundreds of mighty Neo-ThunderFist Type Mechas came through the streets, clearing the way for the Royal Constannian Army. Imperial Ulheis Lancers came through the portals, swiftly riding into the fray as their pistols fired and their sabres slashed through enemy troops.

With both the forces of Maximilian and the Crown Alliance now engaging in a full-blown battle in the streets of the outer city, the situation had turned from bad to worse as the fighting had intensified. Even with the surge of new troops into the city, the Crown Alliance still faced a dug in enemy in Maximilian's troops. As the night progressed into morning, only fifty percent of the city laid in Crown Alliance control as Maximilian's troops were not going to give up that easily. Even the civilians of the city were trying to halt the Crown Alliance as Maximilian's dark magic was influencing them to kill the invaders. As the battle progressed, both sides continued to take heavy causalities.

While the battle continued the Phoenixian Snipers began to search for SIsterhood Mages and shoot them on sight, it was already sunset when one of them land a lucky shoot on the witch who controlled most of the dark magic...

Meanwhile a not stoppable flood of soldiers hit trough the portals until Maximilians soldiers were teared down with sheer numbers...

While the battle continued the Phoenixian Snipers began to search for SIsterhood Mages and shoot them on sight, it was already sunset when one of them land a lucky shoot on the witch who controlled most of the dark magic...

Meanwhile a not stoppable flood of soldiers hit trough the portals until Maximilians soldiers were teared down with sheer numbers...

As Elven mages beagn to enter the portals in great number they began a ritual to combat Maximillan's magic . The began to chant soon they give the Destroy a taste of Elven magic again.

As the fighting continued the Flamethrower troops led the forces They began turning the tide of the battle for the Valo forces. But only to a degree. As random civilians started attacking an order was given to shoot any civilian that comes within five feet of the troops during the battle. As the morning came all the troops were tired. Dimitri checked on Otto whom was asleep somehow and was not scathed during the battle. "What angels work is this that little Otto has never been scathed and continues to sleep through all these battles" he wondered as he continued firing on enemy troops. The Church that Dimitri was in had become a vantage point for the Valo forces. It was heavily defended, and it was also where General Rasputin was giving orders. Chief Black Bear was on the battle field with his Native Warriors. Many had been killed during the fighting. But they pushed on relentlessly. "How long would this last?" Dimitri wondered as he continued raining hell on the enemy.

Jaaera entered Francis office and walk over to him. She looked so beautiful in her night clothing. She look at Francis. "Francis come to bed. Anala wants you there with our son."

Feeling Jaaera's touch, Francis took a moment from his work to speak with Jaaera. "Jaaera I'll be there in a bit but I need to get this work done first. Since it has been over a month since I last read these reports, it strikes me that the others are having difficulty with Kingsmarch. And the death reports coming in from that theater are striking to say the least. I mean I know I just got done with this battle, but it seems I might have to join that one next if things don't go well soon for our friends in Kingsmarch." As he paused from speaking, Francis hugged Jaaera as he spoke again. "I missed you all every moment I was in that hell-hole in the Steel Pass. I am just thankful that I was able to come back from that fighting."

With the majority of the Sisterhood that was stationed in the outer city nearly destroyed, the grip of influence that they had over the citizens of the outer city began to wane also. As the battle continued, more and more soldiers of Maximilian began pulling extreme moves to hold off the Crown Alliance advance. As night began on the second full day the Crown Alliance was trying to take the outer city, several divisions of Maximilian's troops began to torch the city around them as to trapped the forces and citizens in a blazing inferno to stop the attack. As the city began to set ablaze, more and more of Maximilian's troops started to carry out suicidal charges against mechs and the Crown Alliance to halt their takeover.

Feeling Jaaera's touch, Francis took a moment from his work to speak with Jaaera. "Jaaera I'll be there in a bit but I need to get this work done first. Since it has been over a month since I last read these reports, it strikes me that the others are having difficulty with Kingsmarch. And the death reports coming in from that theater are striking to say the least. I mean I know I just got done with this battle, but it seems I might have to join that one next if things don't go well soon for our friends in Kingsmarch." As he paused from speaking, Francis hugged Jaaera as he spoke again. "I missed you all every moment I was in that hell-hole in the Steel Pass. I am just thankful that I was able to come back from that fighting."

"Well you have a new son Francis at least you should name him and see him. Our friends will take the city don't worry." she said with a smile.
