Hercules spoke up first. "My people will be taking Muscov in a few weeks we will not be available to assault these cities." He spoke with a neutral voice.

Prince Celanor look grimly at the map. Elven armor will be useless in those mountains. "I only have two mountain divisons to use in this campaign. Most of my forces are mechinized. We can have have Light infantry, Avariel support, but still that only 10 divisons, I would need to get more from the Empire and that could take a month." He said with grim determination. Elves made poor mountain fighters. That was more for Dwarves and other people. The Elven army was not equiped for that campaign. The Elves would have to take a back seat to this campaign.

The king laughed at this. " You are in luck of this sir, Phoenixians are pretty good in mountain terrain. Even without Lady Német as commander we will take most of Max troops with ease when we are there. The main problem will be to enter the cities. That's were we need the elves or we would need to risk lifes with parachuters and Dragon Transports..."

"That an Excellent Idea your majesty. I am afraid mages are proabbly the best I can offer as my men are poorly suited for mountain warfare. But I approve your plan. General Alastair can you co-coordinate with the Phoenix forces to make that happen." Celanor said with a look of hope on his face. This battle was going to be awfull on the alliance.

"Yes sir." Alastair smiled know who he be working and hoping it would lead to some time a lone in a tent.

" A good mage can replace 100 divisions, you should know that better then anyone else, we will probably need 5 mages per city to hit them by surprise, they will expect us to run with trumpets and flying colors into their wall, not as sneaky as this." Lady Német chirmed in.
" If anyone goes after plan we secure the portals before they even know we are there the rest will be urban warfare, something we can manage. Additionally we will need a attack that bind them on the walls so no one will watch the city when suddenly our forces emerged. At the optimum it would be places barely visible but big enough so that we can transfer our troops quickly. I think I can work the details with the Commander later today."

Dimitri was not very worried, As Valo Troops were good in mountainous environments, unlike Flatland, where many Valo troops would die if a battle occured on the flats. "My forces can do out best in the mountains, many of my troops are trained for such things, Though we will not be able to tow artillery or bring tanks, trucks or horses in, which means my men will have to walk to the cities. Although getting in is the real problem isn't it, the only thing I can think of is trying to cause a revolt, using a small band of people whom will infiltrate the cities and begin spreading propaganda against max. While the troops garrisoning are busy dealing with the revolt, we strike. Causeing panic and chaos for the garrison, plus we will have the citizens helping us." Dimitri said proudly.

This time the king stood up. " The Idea is good, how is this ? We deposit bombs near important Buildings like barracks, we attack by night and when we have secured the portals we blow them all up. In the chaos no one will see us comming when we claim both cities.
However that need exact timing so we can not trust civilians on this unless they get special training. Maybe our friends from the Resistance could help us on that ? They are not as recognizable as soldiers from the alliance, they speak the native tongue and if they don't await a attack they will never know what hit them."

Although Shatner was angry at his own forces for the hasty withdraw, There was much bigger problems back at home. He watched the top RC News network report that the king, declared martial law and use of deadly force against his citizens. In a final effort after the special forces tried to remove him from power. He saw that the capital building on TV was raided. He saw his own brother, a minister, be brought out dead by rioters, step on his body and burn the national flag. Infuriated, Shatner was to leave the Imperium and restore order in RC.
As the landed onto the Steel Airfield, He was immediately directed to a passenger jet on route to the homeland.

The face of the King get even more color. " Yes that would be even better, I assumed we would not be able to get artillery and heavy mechanized divisions as reinforcements. That will make it a lot easier. I would like to see the face of Max soldiers when they are suddenly spotting heavy tanks, I don't think they will have much tanks there as the city is a fortress and it will be difficult to maintain them in the mountains. Well that covers this part. Any additions by anyone ?"

As the other Crown Alliance members debated and argued with how they should attack the cities of Kingsmarch and the Steel Pass, Francis just let them all make their opinions as he knew he would answer their questions sooner or later. It was actually refreshing for him just to sit back and listen for a bit while the others spoke as it allowed for him to focus on some more intimate things in life. However, those moments were soon taken from him as he heard of the plan the others had seemed to agree on as Francis knew that plan would not work. Letting the others finish their ideas, Francis spoke up. "My friends, while all of those ideas would be sound trying to take a normal city, both Kingsmarch and the Steel Pass are anything but normal. To show you all what we are facing, here are some photos of both cities and their defenses." As Francis paused, he handed out photos of the cities to all in attendance before he continued on. "Essentially, both Kingsmarch and the Steel Pass are two cities each; one of them a normal city outside of the mountain entrance and then the actual mountain city itself. I'll allow you all to ask questions or make comments before I offer my suggestion to taking them."

The King cursed into his native language.
" To bad that we can't burn this damn mountains. Allright what do we know about the protections and strengh of this cities ? They will be probably heav..." He began to smile as a Idea crossed his mind.
" That's it, everyone fears Maximilian right ? So when we 'borrow' a few uniforms and claim that we belongs to a secret special unit with 5 elven mages as prisoners. We could escape with portals after we scouted the area. Of course that would blow our cover rather quickly so we would need to strike early after this..."

Hearing the two ideas from Phoenixia and the Elven Empire, Francis spoke up. "I'm afraid that trying to impersonate the enemy wouldn't work my fair King Eirikson as all of the soldiers we have encountered have been pure Imperials and bear the markings that are consistent with his dark magic. Even if we did manage to find people willing enough to do this mission, it would be suicidal for them and wouldn't allow enough time for them to set up. Now, secret passages, however, there are several for Kingsmarch we can utilize to our advantage that Emperor Tiberius's knows about since he was born and raised in Kingsmarch. However, the Steel Pass will have to be a convectional frontal assault as I know of no such entrances for that city."

He turns to Celanor. " If I could give you Mountain Equipment how many men could you send ? The 10 divisions will be not enough for a frontal attack on Steel Pass..."

As he arrived back in Greens-Town, however, he decided to take a side trip to meet with his daughter and Prince Russell to see how they were doing. As he walked past the many tents and field hospitals, Tiberius had the eerie and depressing state of death hit his bones as he walked past the bodies of the death and wounded. Soon, he found himself near the old city hall as he caught sight of the Constannian delegation.

Prince Russell spotted Emperor Tiberius approaching them, and greeted his father-in-law. "Hello, Emperor Tiberius," THe young man said. Prince Edward and Prince Daniel both bowed slightly. "Greetings, Your Majesty. So what is it you need from us exactly?" Prince Daniel said, getting straight to the point.

As Shatner stepped off the super-sonic Concorde onto RC International airport, He saw a missile strike into the far distance, But tried to ignore it. He walked down the stairs of the plane and saluted the Canadian Marines standing guard at the gates. As soon as he walked into airport itself, The media was all over him. The Canadian guards were pushing away the press. A reporter asked,
"Sir, What are you going to do now that a force of 20,000 civilians have taken up arms in hope of a civil war?"
Shatner didn't want to show it, but he was furious. He didn't want this to turn into a full blown civil war. As he walked into a building where his advisers were in, He asked
"What the hell did I miss?"
"Sir, Watch the news. The people are burning the flags of RC, The Brotherhood Imperium, and Valarono. They are chanting, Death to the imperialist aggressors, too." Said General Mcurde
As Shatner sat down, He saw that the king tore the national flag apart and revealed a new flag. He was trying to make RC Communist.
" This man is insane! I want him dead now! Now Dammit! " Screamed Shatner at everyone in the room
"My brother is dead, RC is gonna plunge into a civil war, the king is crazy, AND I THINK I SOILED MY PANTS" Yelled Shatner
"Someone get this man a new pair of trousers" Said a unknown voice. Shatner took another look at the TV. The "New Canadian Commies" As they called themselves, Were firing anti aircraft into the air. Foreign TV was reporting too.

Prince Edward and Prince Daniel both bowed slightly. "Greetings, Your Majesty. So what is it you need from us exactly?" Prince Daniel said, getting straight to the point.

Greeting the Constannian Royals, Tiberius got down to the point. "Well I was actually coming this way to see Russell to ask how Leona has been doing. It has been over a month since I last spoke to her in Steel Harbor after it was made aware that she was pregnant. So Russell, how is my daughter doing? I know she has travelled with the Constannian delegation as she refuses to leave you so how is she?" As Tiberius waited for an answer, he noticed that King Tiberius and Queen Marina were coming towards him also.

Prince Russell smiled. "She's doing quite well, and the child is developing well. We still don't know whether she'll give birth to a boy or a girl, although truth be told I have my fingers crossed for a son," Russell said, chuckling some as his older brother and sister-in-law came up to them. "Ah, it's good to see you all," King Tiberius said with a smile.
