She weeped into tears for a few minutes before she regained enough to answer. The Elven Imperium wrote:Prince Andy spoke up the words no one wanted to say. "Commander Henry is dead." He said with a slum voice.

Francis's mind went blank as Andy said that Henry was dead. It took him a few minutes to recollect himself, but Francis spoke up to the response. "What do you mean dead? How was he killed? That is impossible that he is dead because he was one of the last persons I saw before I blacked out. How did this happen, I need to know Andy so tell me." As Francis finished, he tried to get out of his bed to try to search for his friend, but his wives wouldn't let him leave the bed or the room as Andy began to speak.

As Francis heard Andy speak of the sacrifice that Henry paid to save his own life, he couldn't help but tear up and cry in sorrow to the news. As he wallowed in his pity, Francis cried out in frustration. "Why did you let him do this? He wasn't supposed to die for me and he knew that! He was the only other person then myself to make it out of the Steel Pass all of those years ago and now he leaves me as the last survivor? Dammit why?" As Francis continued to take out his frustrations out, it was clearly shown to everyone that this had brought up bad memories from the past that Francis didn't want to relive again.

"And also we are going to need more food, clothes, bears and horses. Can you do that for me." Yes sir" Ceasere said sarcastically. "And also Ceasere. Expect me at your wedding when this is all over." Dimitri said with a laugh. He hung up. The army would stay in Greens town and help repair while they waited to be airlifted supplies and reinforcements along with tanks, artillery, and cavalry. Dimitri decided to go up into the mountains along with s group of about ten he hand picked with special operations. It included the grenadier captain back from the city, three Marines, a high ranking Cossack rider, 2 bear riders, 2 Muscovy Defenders, and the best sniper in the Valo army. For there task was not simple. They were looking for Maximilian himself. They began patrolling the mountains around 6AM. Unaware what they would discover.

With the battle pretty much over by this point, all the members of the Crown Alliance proceeded to start the long process of gathering their wounded and dead as this battle proved to be costly to both sides of the conflict. While the Crown Alliance managed to hold Greens-Town and push back Maximilian's forces out of the Steel Valley, their losses were over doubled, or in some cases tripled, from the battle in Steel Harbor over a month beforehand. Between the fires in the town to the screeches and moans of death outside of the town, the area surrounding Greens-Town and the Steel Valley was one of death and despair. It would be many months or years before the civilians of the area would be healed from this conflict as they would be scared for the rest of their lives over this war and battle.

As Dimitri and his small contingent of men set forth into the Steel Mountain Range, they were meet with with a sight of more snow and hollowing winds as they begin to track down the retreating forces of Maximilian. Only into their first day of traveling into the peaks and ranges of the Steel Mountains, Dimitri ad his men would find the frozen bodies of retreating Maximilian soldiers who tried to venture to safety away from the conflict. As the day began to close, Dimitri would only see despair from his ventures.

As Dimitri and his men set off the cossacks horse was beginning to freeze as they were up in the mountains. They decided that the only way to keep it alive would be to wrap blankets around it. The Horse was still cold but it would not freeze. The others on the other hand were doing relatively well. For the winters in Valorono were some of the coldest in the region, just as there summers were also some of the coldest. The men were prepared for such weather as was the military whe nit issued winter clothing. They were light warm, and were camo. Eventually though the Cossack had to turn back as the snow got too deep for his horse. He would go back to Greens-town and stay safe with the others. The 9 remaining soldiers continued to follow Dimitri. The bears were fine as they were built for cold climates. The small Band set out to continue to track down any enemy stragglers. They came upon a small camp, not much possibly 20-30 troops. Nothing the Band couldnt handle. They set out on a nearby ridge to get a better view on the camp as, Sgt Rascalov brought his sniper up to get a clear view on the camp.

The whole day most of the soldiers were carrying the deaths and wounded soldiers from the battlefield. They had won the battel but it was a pyrrhic victory. Even with the air support the soldiers were not capable to chase down many of the retreating forces and the Bloodlet was way to high.
The king was pissed with the whole situation. Sooner or later he would call in the reserves from the homeland, he was getting additional 30 millions within the next month but after that he would use the less trained soldiers.
This war was more expensive then he thought, in the matter of money but mainly in the matter of blood. It would take generations to replace all the deaths of this wars, even if the slaves would get citizenship.
Sighting in dismay he ordered addittional reserves to be shipped from Phoenixia, at least they could guard Steel Harbor while the trained forces prepared for the next task at hand...

As the forces of Valorono preyed upon the camp below them, they could clearly see that the men were tired and cold and ill prepared for any attack. The camp itself was set up with haste to keep themselves out of the cold while they had a fire going to try to keep themselves warm. From the chatter they could here from the soldiers, many of them were talking about abandoning Maximilian and surrendering to the forces of the Crown Alliance. They were unaware that they were being watched by Dimitri and his forces as they tried their best to stay warm in the cold and harsh slopes of the Steel Mountains.

When Shatner woke up from his collapse, He was in a hospital bed, with limited visibility, He looked down upon his body. His left leg was gone, From the elbow down on each arm, They were cut off. He was to tired from the medicine they gave him to complain. About 10 minutes later, A medical team of 15 burst into the room with a robotic leg, and two robotic arms. And a false shoulder. There was to be 60 hours of operations and 4 weeks of recovery before he could get back into the war. Before the operation, He was able to ask;
"Why, In the name of God, Do I need all of this?" He said lightly
"Because, Your kneecaps were blown off in the explosion. You were in to much shock to notice. You fell on your should, and shattered your arms." Said one surgeon
"Where the hell are my men?" He said in a hasty reply
"Uh, Sir.." Said a Doctor while stopping himself
In a fast remark, another surgeon replied,
"Their either dead or wounded, Or a POW. The rest fell back to Canada 4 hours ago. They wanna regroup for a counter attack in the rear of the Imperium, But, We don't know how the Crown alliance is going to feel about it."
Shatner looked at the surgeon, And grabbed him by the neck, He said
"Tell me you're lying. I never gave an order to do that. Only a few thousand died." He said while everyone watched in despair
"Eh em, I think you forgot what really happened to our forces, sir. As you see here on the computer, Is a casualty report. The entire Canadian ground force crumbled. The king gave the order to fight on. Fewer casualties could've been avoided if you were there to command them" Replied the surgeon as he jabbed a shot in Shatners chest.

As the end of the first day post the Battle of Greens-Town drew to a close for the Crown Alliance, many of the leaders and commanders talk among themselves and mattered to their own business as they thought everyone needed a day or two to collect their dead and mourn their losses before they meet again for war. The night sky in Greens-Town and the surrounding area were an eery orange and red haze from the parts of the city still burning from the battle. While many of the moans of the dying had now ceased, there was still the occasional sound of dying persons coming from the field of battle or from the multiple field hospitals the various nations fielded around and in the city. As the night drew on, however, many leaders wondered were Lord Francis was at as reports and rumors started filing through the ranks that he died or was on his death bed because of the battle and his charge against Maximilian.

As the night called the Phoenixians Leaders back into their tents the king was furious, not only had he lost over 500 000 men today, many of them from his own army group no he had also lost his headquarter and the most important city within the vale. To top that there was still no sign from Lord Kissinger.
" Have we new reports ?"
" Nothing much sire, logistic reports, lost counting, lost counting and even more lost counting oh and did I miss the reports over the casualities ? Despite that no sir, nothing from the homefront, nothing new over the search for Lord Kissinger or any news from Steel Harbor."
The king cursed heavily in his native tongue before he turned to his assistant. " I need the reserves asap, use any transportation vessel we have, if Maximilian wants a war he will get him."
The assistant saluted, knowing this kind of mood all to well, it means the king would not tolerate delays of any sort...

With the tensions that were going on in the RC between their leadership and the amount of losses they had over the last month, Emperor Tiberius of the Imperium decided to meet with Lord Shatner to discuss aiding his forces with more men and supplies to help ease the tensions back home with their government. As the Emperor went to the hospital in Greens-Town were Shatner was at, he was surprised with the amount of hardware and replacement limbs that the man required after his horrific injuries from the battle. As he sat down with Shatner, Tiberius wondered what was going through the man's mind over this injuries.

I need to focus more on ending this war and less on everything else. This war needs to end."

Vera looked at Francis and shook her head. "Francis you don't understand. Your obsession with killing Maximillan lead to this. You need to not waste the sacrifice of your friend. Yes you need to help destroy that bastard but your days of leading from the front are over. Be a better man and don't give in to your hate. Do it for us and your children. We love you Francis...Don't make us fear to lose you again." She said hold Akoradia.

Both generals would be late for the meeting as they engage in a different form of combat. A combat that did not involve clothing. When they where finish Alastair smiled at Franciska. She is so beautiful and I love deeply. I can't wait to see what miracle we produce down the road. With those thoughts Alastair looked at his watch. His eyes went wide. He then turn to the sleep Franciska. "Franciska get up where late for the meeting."

Kingdom of Phoenixia wrote:As the night called the Phoenixians Leaders back into their tents the king was furious, not only had he lost over 500 000 men today, many of them from his own army group no he had also lost his headquarter and the most important city within the vale. To top that there was still no sign from Lord Kissinger. "Have we new reports ?" "Nothing much sire, logistic reports, lost counting, lost counting and even more lost counting oh and did I miss the reports over the causalities ? Despite that no sir, nothing from the home-front, nothing new over the search for Lord Kissinger or any news from Steel Harbor." The king cursed heavily in his native tongue before he turned to his assistant. " I need the reserves asap, use any transportation vessel we have, if Maximilian wants a war he will get him." The assistant saluted, knowing this kind of mood all to well, it means the king would not tolerate delays of any sort.

As the King of Phoenixia went through his reports from the recent battle, several aides from the Imperium came in to give him an update in concerns to Lord Kissinger and the progress of the Imperium forces that were now apart of the Crown Alliance. With the updates the King was informed that Lord Francis had suffered injuries, but was in stable condition for the time being. As apart of the new reports, Emperor Tiberius suggested for a meeting later in the week between all of the leaders in the Crown Alliance to get an update on the war and what their plans were moving forward. With the updates in concerns of Lord Francis, many of the rumors began to die down on his death as the night continued.

Getting the updates he could get at least a bit reliefed. At least he had not another debate about the commander for the crown alliance comming up.
All in all it was not a good day and he literally sunk into his bed, mentally allready preparing for the meeting later in the week...

Prince Celanor, Prince Andy gathered with other Elven leaders for the meeting the the allies. The toll of the battle was high. over half a million Elven soldiers dead. About two million wounded. Thousands upon thousands of Tanks and other vehicles destroyed or knocked out. The Elven priest where working over time to conscrated the dead and prevent their reanimation. Prince Celanor waited with his bother for the rest of the allies.

The Warforge leaders held there own ceremony for their dead. Components of the fallen warforge where given to wounded comrades in a cermony of honor.

As Francis listened to Vera speak in concerns of his obsession with Maximilian and how he needed to stop being the leader at the front of the war, Francis felt it was a personal attack against his pride and service from his family. He felt himself torn between the love for his family and the duty he felt he still owed to his country and soldiers. After listening to Vera speak, Francis spoke with tears in his eyes and a torn heart. "Vera, your words hurt me. You can't force me to choose between you all and my soldiers, that's not fare. If you haven't noticed my display of leadership over the last months and in these three battles is the reason we still have an alliance against Maximilian and we have been able to retake much of the western half of the Imperium. If I am not the one leading the charge, it will dishearten alot of the Steel Guards and others in battle. However, I don't want this issue to tear our family apart as I love you all too much. None of you understand the weight I bear on my shoulders." As Francis waited for a response, he laid back against the bed as he was tired of the fighting and just wanted to war to end.

They decided that the only way to keep it alive would be to wrap blankets around it. The Horse was still cold but it would not freeze. The others on the other hand were doing relatively well. For the winters in Valorono were some of the coldest in the region, just as there summers were also some of the coldest. The men were prepared for such weather as was the military when it issued winter clothing. Nothing the Band couldn't handle. They set out on a nearby ridge to get a better view on the camp as, Sgt Rascalov brought his sniper up to get a clear view on the camp.

As Dimitri watched the enemy forces in terrible shape he decided to take diplomatic route. Dimitri went into the camp with his gauntlet drawn he snuck into the officers tent and held him at knife point. "Surrender or die, commander. Your choice. I would suggest the former if I was you". Dimitri said as he pressed the knife a little harder into the commanders neck. Rascalov continued watching the camp waiting to help Dimitri if things went sour. The other men were close by only about ten yards away from the camp. But still out of sight.
