It has nothing to do with trade. It has to do with the fact Hetland is supposed to be connected to a body of saltwater, however by only one point, which is the eighth city. Because the eighth city is supposed to be connected to the sea, they've had a history of being hit by various seafaring invasions from other countries and have grown increasingly hostile and racist. Unfortunately they're still the most visited city and have the most experience dealing with foreigners, which they begrudgingly take pride in.

Why didn't you tell me?...

Hmm... should I split Minroz into two? Or should I just hand the entirety of Manchuria to Het?... Decisions... >:D

Urgh. Tough choices, personally I prefer the entirety of Manchuria but I will leave it to Het for the sake of the RP. However, This makes a nice casus belli for Native Manchus who are among the Minrozian elites.

Hmm, I was thinking how did I acquire the North Manchuria territory? Maybe sneaking in from Imota side or underground train (which is unlikely of course).

Good thing his capital is much further south. I can't imagine the Forbidden City in Beijing being so close to the border. Anyway, the closest port to Hetland is Jinzhou, though looking at the map, I realized I didn't match the borders of inner Mongolia well...

Ask Imota. I don't remember him making Manchuria a puppet state.

Of course, I only match it directly to Qing records. I mean, the RL Qing were a Manchu dynasty.

Trust me. I would have had the same thought if you told me before I checked Wikipedia. Basically, there are a few ports beside the Yellow Sea to choose from. I'll pick for you if you want.

How about Het has one port on the Yellow Sea, and a certain area between that port and the rest of Hetland is required to allow Hetlanders to travel freely between them? This being the result of a compromise peace agreement after Hetland unified and drove Minroz out of Mongolia, or something.

Good idea. I can agree to that, provided the Hetlanders won't try breaking any Imperial laws when traveling through Manchurian territory on the way to the port. There'll be rules for Minrozians not to attack Hetlanders as well. Partly, this can be a truce between Minroz and Hetland.

or How about a underground Train tunnel connected from Hetland mainland to the port city, built by either Minrozians or Hetlanders as part of the truce deal? I know it's a expensive project but I'm sure it's worth it. :)

Works for me. And if any Hetlanders are caught breaking laws, they can be sent back to Hetland.

Hetland 2 is an incredibly martial society. Crime disrupts martial strength. Therefore crime must be destroyed.

I just want to remind everyone that after its founding, 30 years ago, Finorskia officially declared itself permanently neutral. This would probably have been made official by some sort of international convention. Finorskia has never taken any side in any conflict that would have arose in the past 20 years, but instead would have dispatched the Civil Aid Army. A .5 million manned army of doctors, field medics, engineers, scientists, etc. Whose job is to go into combat zones and extract wounded military and civilian personnel from both sides. They then take care of them without discrimination. The CAA has its own aircraft carrier the FMCV-1 Hope for Life. The CAA has combat personel whose job is to protect the extraction teams and will not fire on any hostile entity unless fired upon. The CAA wear a bright white uniform with Red Crosses on the shoulders, helmet, and back. It should also be noted that Finorskia banned nuclear weapons 5 years after its formation as a country.

Okay, now I know Eila would have had contact with Madoka and Dark Madoka. Her powers are literally to tear holes between dimensions then seal them up.

She'd likely be a target for more zealous Magical Girls because of this, regardless of the fact that she would hate Dark Madoka with a passion.

I think I just made the most epic plot combination ever. I actually made all my plot just a part of Dark Madoka's plot, if I got Puella Magi lore right.

Oh, and Malice is gonna take a good laugh of the mess I made, because at this point his presence at least to laugh at us is almost forced.
