Dr. Nellis had returned to his headquarters on West Cardwith Island, jumping a flight from Noritts, East Cardwith to Hesttens. They had driven past masses of New Isotopian troops that were setting up encampments all over the eastern part of the island.
Isotopian military trucks were enroute on all the major roads into and out of Hesttens. They were glad to be beyond the traffic jam ups and finally head south on Route 4. Nellis and Leila sat in the back of a modest, but roomy BMW sedan. They were on the phone and furiously typing into a handful of smart tablets. A monumental, game-changing event was about to take place and Nellis needed as much information as possible before he went through with his major announcement.

Everything seemed to be set. He walked into the makeshift studio that was attached to the UFF headquarters and sat down in front of a desk that faced a TV camera. A makeup artist set about putting on light touches to show off Dr. Nellis' better features. He was a distinguished looking, balding and graying Polynesian with sincere, almost sad looking hazel eyes. The director held up fingers then waved a cue at the Chairman of the United Freedom Front.

For so long now we have struggled under the rule of an oppressive, foreign monarch. King Popilu does not care one ounce for the greater good of the Cardwithian and Hutanjian peoples. In light of recent events, and for all extents and purposes official, the Benevolent Dictatorship of Falkasia grants recognition and sovereignty to the Democratic Socialist Republic of the Cardwiths. All foreign diplomacy will henceforth be conducted through their respective intermediaries, and dissident status will be bestowed on the revolting territories of Nevorn and greater Nesselberg.

As a show of strength and resolve for our new Cardwithian allies, the Falkasian 8th Airborne has been deployed to secure the territory from foreign aggression and assure that the hard0fought freedom will not be extinguished by the bloodied hand of the Hutanjian King. Let it be known that, pending the arrival of this communique, a 10 mile NO FLY ZONE will be established around the Cardwith Island Chain, to be enforced by the Falkasian Air Force amongst others.

The Falkasian Government calls upon the respective powers associated with the Hutanjian Monarchy to concede territorial sovereignty to the DSRC, and all foreign entities remove their forces from Cardwithian territory as determined by the Falkasian Defense Ministry. Thank you for your continued support in our troubling times. Although we are not a strictly communist nation, we welcome our socialist brethren, whether they be Communist or not, to stay in our corner for the tough fight ahead. The world should be outraged at the horrific atrocities visited upon the Cardwithian people by the bombers of the Royal Hutanjian regime.
