Hi, I seen recently in people sig's they have put what colonies they own and what territories they own.

So I was wondering, how do you claim another nation as part of your empire? As it seems unlikely that you just TG another nation and ask them if they would allow you to take control of them.

You create another nation as your "puppet". It's pretty simple.
