The Klingon-Cardassian War is entering its second month with major advances by the Allied Forces deeper into Cardassian space. Earlier today, the Intergalactic Empire of Holy Trek's Imperial Starfleet delivered a crippling blow to the Cardassian Union by destroying a modified Obsidian Order fleet in the Orias III system. The revelation that the intelligence agency had a fleet operating against the regulations of the Detepa Council, a group of civilian administrators..and the Central Command, the military arm of the Union...came as a surprise to both bodies.

In other news, the Romulan civil war has calmed down in the face of the Gorn invasion. With the loss of Carraya IV, Devron II, Kevatras, and Miridian, the Romulan economy has taken a sharp turn downward to decline. The Free Romulan Worlds have been hit the hardest by this sudden downturn. but even the Holy Trek-administered Romulan systems have been hard hit. This morning, Michael I announced a bill that would send $10 billion Imperial Dollars to the Romulan systems in urgent need. The Free Romulans Worlds rejected the offer, believing it as a pretext for the hevam (Humans) to seize Romulus itself.

The Otayu Crisis which has bogged the IGF down for many weeks, has finally been settled today with a treaty which will grant them protectorate status in the Intergalactic Federacy in exchange for a space-station in orbit of Otayu Prime. Details will be made available in the 1100 report.

In other news, the IGF Diet has decided not to comment on the current situation involving the Intergalactic Empire of Holy Trek or the Holy Empire of Inuyashina, announcing that the Klingon-Cardassian War was an internal matter related to Holy Trek, and therefore "not in the interests or concerns of the IGF as a whole". Traffic has been diverted from the warzones, however, and the Diet has elected to monitor the situation closely.

Finally, we have word that the Tzenkethi Coalition may have triggered a potential war with Odinburgh. The details remain sketchy right now, but there is a current standoff over the independent world of Clotho III involving Kreel slaves, Kinshaya, and the Tzenkethi as well as Odinburgh. We'll follow this story as it develops...

Loki's power over Odinburgh Prime and his ban of the thugs of the Destroyers of the Dark Dimension has dimished while in hiding in the Malekith Caverns near Vidarapal as the Vice Chancellor has taken back control of the Odinburgh Government. However the Odinburgh senate is still under hostage by dark elf Lord Halleth and OMAC General Charles Zahn is still a hostage among the hostages which rumors have gotten is under influence of Loki's or Lord Halleth's power. We are still not sure who still is in charge of this raid on Odinburgh Prime. As to Odinburgh Chancellor, a trial is under way at Necron's Odinburgh Estate of Victoria Acres of one of their generals that was recently agreed to with the Odinburgh Government to allow some limited freedoms to Chancellor Borson. The Commissioner of Water Usage, appointed by the House Mayor of Atlan, was dismissed by Imperial edict, and it is believed the House Mayor himself could also face dismissal by the Imperial Parliament. Meanwhile, Michael I has proposed a pair of new districts which will have more control over the water usage. One of these will include Columbus, Smiths, and the Imperial capital itself. Odinburgh Liberationist Union Party gains seats in mid-term elections

In the Odinburgh Galactic Federation mid-term election, the very far right fascist party in the Galactic Federation has netted a substantial +23 seat gain further narrowing against the majority held by the Odinburgh Democratic Socialist Party which retains +35 majority. Odinburgh Red Star Communist Party lost net -15 seats and Odinburgh Republican Party won a net +5 seats. Odinburgh Independent Freedom sadly only netted +2. The agenda for the Galactic Federation will prove challenging as many citizens wish to abolish chancellery and replace it with a more democracy style republic controlled government to reform things throughout the Galactic Federation of Odinburgh as they feel its just too socialist and must return to its roots as a true Federation as it once was before. On November 28, 2230 President Erickson (Intergalactic Alliance) was re-elected for second term by a overwhelming margin that voted for him over Vaughn Mueller (Red Nova League), Kay Waterton (Democratic Socialist Star Union) and Bruce Alistair (People's Cosmic Conservative Party). Chancellor Borson will be retained as Chancellor for the next two years. In other election coverage we have results of the senate assembly results. All 132 seats that includes Odinburgh's 27 planetary states and 6 territories were up for grabs. It turned out to be a close election and highest votes cast since the founding of the Odinburgh Galactic Federation. Next election will be the midterms in 2032 with 63 seats up for grabs.

January 20, 2231- An attack by the Raiders of Suban was launched in the Odinburgh capital of Thorheim at the Odinburgh Starfleet Command Headquarters building earlier this morning. Two starships have decimated the building. Odinburgh Starfleet has moved to their backup facility in Sancteon. A third starship crashed into Chancellor Borson's residence but was currently not home. While a final fourth starship hit a financial tower in downtown Thorheim killing 110,000 people including sadly Cressida Borson, the Chancellor's only daughter. Cressida recently wed to her love Dagrun Westergard last month and he has been notified that her body has been located in the wreckage. It is estimated it will take at least a month and a half to totally clean up all the debris. This is the first major attack the Raiders of Suban has launched against a major intergalactic power.
