The Capital of the Reich and its Empire was bustling with unrelenting crowds of cheering citizens as the main boulevards flowed with flowers. In the streets the Imperial Armed Forces or Reichswehr was performing a dazzling military parade through the capital city. Banners flapped in the breeze, vehicles rumbled and aircraft soared over head as personnel from everyservice branch and the Reichschuetzstaffel marched in perfect formation. The Imperial Anthem sang above all this as the Emperor himself led the parade in full military regalia. Waving to adoring crowds as he led the Empires ever triumphant soldiery through the streets. As this was going on though the Reichswehr was already on the move in its mobilization as accross the country units became activated and the first wave of reservists reported in.
Zossen (Ober Kommando der Reichswehr Garrison GQ)
Five miles South-East of Imperia
Zossen, the sleepy town of 26,712 inhabitants was a different story to the fanfare that was happening a few miles away. Certainly some Zosseners had left for the city to celebrate while smaller celebrations occured in Zossen itself. The Garrison Battalion in Zossen had performed its own parade for the villagers as they watched 1,300 armed forces personnel march and perform for them.
In the Military HQ though located in the Western half of the town on Zossener-Strasse things bustled with a different kind of activity. Military officers, assistants, secretariats and other officials went to and fro as orders came and went from far off Adolfstadt to the heart ofthe Empire and even from the colonies. The OKR had three HQ administrative buildings in the Emperian Reich, two in Imperia and one at Zossen with a number of military facilities as regional HQs in all of the Imperial Provinces. This however was the main administrative heart that did most of the number crunching while the two in Imperia was simply the higher up offices and the Emperors own primary HQ.

Maps were strewn accross the table as military officers from all the Armed forces branches studied them meticulously. Some of the Empire and its colonies, others of the now Sechyvasian Socialist Democracy. Plans had already been proposed and right now the Empire was on the defensive stance as to what course it should undertake. Kriegsmarschall Johann Rommel, Commander of the OKR and reporting only to the Emperor himself had proposed the taking of one of the main Sechyvasian islands as a jumping off point for the invasion of the mainland.
"We only need to strike at the cancerous heart of that false government to tear it out." he argued. The Sechyvasian Queen however advocated that Diplomatic actions still be taken but that through previous TGs had fallen on deaf ears.
Other officers stated a direct strike and landing on the mainland without taking one of the islands was the speediest way but posed a threat to the rear and flanks. So that was discarded while Feldmarschall Heinrich Ritter von Freyden, a veteran of many conflicts and commander of Imperial forces at Losun during the First Sechyvasian-Imperial War reasoned an island hopping campaign.
"We take the islands in the West and then land in several locations on the Western Coastline. Then we push inland from there." said von Freyden.
The Emperor himself like both ideas of taking one island and the island hopping campaign. He never the less after some delibaration chose the Island hopping campaign, calling it Unternehmen Neptune (Operation Neptune).
Operation Neptune was so far being drawn up at a rapid pace as military intel, the Abwehr, knew the Sechyvasian unit dispositional strength to be approximately one Division on Fordas and some smaller units. With atleast a squadron of aircraft and probably a Fleet of Sechyvasian ships. The Imperials also knew that Gregany had two Divisions and several smaller units on the islands there. While Losun had atleast two full Corps of troops and was definately the most well defended.
