In other news Deneager I think we can let your charachter in. I'm also willing to let you use that charachter to build a nation of his followers, or since Knights of Kings has stepped down from his role (at least i'm pretty sure he has) as the head of all the undead legions, I think your guy (who already has necromancer like qualities) could be the new rising necromancer to step into the power gap the Queen of Parasites left with her downfall. I know you said you wanted to start down in the middle continent, but since your were originally thinking of claiming a place in the northlands where me and Promotheo are I think you could also start up there.

See I have actually been toying with the idea of starting a thread where my nation has a heated debate between my rulers over whether the dead should be cremated to prevent the dead being used as soldiers for necromancers, or should the desecration of the ancestors bodies be even comprehended. So while I have a heated debate, you could show up and enter one of my largely abandoned crypts and start rumaging around, further inciting the issue. Also Prometheo I would like to get you in this thread too. Have it take place after your To bed a king thread. That way we could legislate the decision we decide over the entire continent.

Anyway that could also give you an in and if you play your cards right and see the thread through I see no reason why you couldn't use what followers/ undead minions you get out of it to set your own place up north (or wherever you want for that matter)

Alright :D. I did not relize that their was anyone in the north, so I will rethink his location.

Well it is just me and Prometheo. Sorry I had added the map but I hadn't officially added both of Prometheo's and my own boundries until last night.

Edit: Marzarbul. Would your dwarves at any point have any underground cities in the north? Also I know you have many underground passageways and tunnels. Do any of these tunnels go beneath the ocean from one continent to another? Just curious, not planning anything.

also for everyone. I know the Empire of Man is a powerful NPC state right now, but given that Archesia is gone, I was wondering If we should start a thread about the slow decline of it. Nothing serious at first. I just know that with orcs in the south and my galleys looking for places to trade from and also raid that the towns at the border of the Empire might be vulnerable as the Empire slowly recedes its world influence. So no targeting the Empire directly, but instead behaving as if the Empire is no longer a power that has the means to react against our raids and influence to keep us in check. Mostly I want to expand to raid and plunder some villages like a good true viking.

Yeah, this makes sense, as I've always seen Achesia and now the Empire of Man as Lost Age's Roman Empire. I think we can have it go up and down, from times of great prosperity to then near collapse- right now it's starting to decline again. Plus I'm sure it's still partially recovering from the Age of Chaos; the place was literally torn to pieces and then got a brutal plague on top of that.

On the fringes of Empire territory there doesnt happen to be Temples that would collect nice sum of donations and such to pillage would there? The Empire had a single main religion did it not?

Well as far as the North goes, there might possibly be dwarven colonies or the ruins of such up there perhaps but as far as tunnels going beneath the ocean, I believe that it would be pretty impractical for a tunnel to exist that far below the ocean itself so probably not. Would be much more practical to rough it by sea though that would hinder the passage of the dwarves to any other continent since they despise ocean travel. Therefore any ruins or colonies in the north would not be very large or if there were any large settlements there would only number in the few.

Also the map created by Achesia shows where all of his cities, villages, towns, and castles are located so if you want to raid you can pick your targets and Rp it more accurately.

Yes, it did  . Though don't all of you underestimate the Empire- it's people are hardy after 3 centuries of war, it is one of the three civilizations currently in control of dragons (Farisel and Taazok de Dovah), and their religion is quite fanatical and therefore inspiring to defenders, you can see more in his factbook. Make sure you can handle his men before going on raids.

Alright. Like I said the first raids will be on the far fringes. A testing the waters move for my people. A very small village at the edge here, a small isolated trading vessel there. Then later I might get more confident, maybe even arogant and set some tempers in the Empire. I want to be a thorn in the Empire's side at some point that they cant pursue (due to my control of the seas in the north) but not so much as to kill the Empire. Just profit off their sickness.

Oh and do not forget that the dwarves will be helping those who wish harm on Achesia though we will do so quietly. We like their gold but we really hate them at the same time.

Here you go. This one is the ongoing civil war which is at the moment the biggest world event taking place right now. If you take the necromancer route (are you?) then a civil war would be a great place to find a good deal of corpses once the fighting starts.

He isn't exactly a necromancer, but when he kills someone their ghost will serve him for a short time(say a day or two) and it might be a good place to find some wounded to serve him.

Visperia. Your thread Visperia revealed. Is that for yourself, or is there a chance to join in? What would you say if I blackmailed your captain into sneaking back into your nation to steal an artifact in exchange for the Prince's life. This would be a move by the shadow group in my nation who follows my god. You haven't happened to already think up a list of powerful magical artifacts in your realm yet have you. If not it doesn't matter. I can also have you steal something your nation has, but do not know what it is, so they wont miss it. Either way I think your thread deserves some attention, and I think it would be a perfect way to flesh out your homeland, while also restart my own side quest of Udan's followers.

The rebels are going to move on the southern cities once Visperia responds. As for Numer and Dbrought, I'll hopefully have something up by tomorrow.

Awesome, I finally got my ORBAT up on the Forces Declaration page, so I can actually send troops. Btw, if you haven't already for new players, we have a force declaration page where you can describe units and how many of them you have, to prevent godmodding.

Alright. I'll also work so I can get an ORBAT up soon. Doing some managment work though. Are any of the following states active right now. If they are not i'm going to move them to inactive/NPC status on the OP (do not mean to offend anyone who is active who I list these are just the ones off the top of my head I am not 100% sure of)

The Sharzarid Suzerainty
The Horde of the Dark Fortress
Domain of Faerisereg
The Lost Tribes of Nephelia
Kingdom of Sommerhemn
High Kingdom of Lydia
Empire of Linea
Forgotten of Galdeon

Good point, you have a very good point. They would probably either be armed with swords and shields, or unarmed, and be skeletal, or half decayed. That is one way to invoke fear in an enemy skeletons and zombies with weapons.

Well that is up to you. If you went necromancer, then you could have hordes of zombies, skeletons, some necromancers to manage them, and maybe the odd shade or ghoul spirit as well. If you went more of an evil type then you could consort with demons you summon, ancient spirits, cultists, assasins and fantics. You could also be shadowy, with shades assasins and agents that you recruit or indoctrinate under your command. Or you could be a warlord and hire mercenaries, and brigands to raid and pillage. It really is up to you, and you are free to change it as much as you want as long as it stays reasonable and is transitioned well. I after all started as a group of vampires with an undead army and have since transitioned into a northen fuedal society with knights that then evolved into a nation comprised of Viking sailors along the coasts and seas, northern rangers in the forests, armored knights in the plains and hills between the coast and forests and Vampires in the snowy peaks. Evolve your idea. feel free to change it. Maybe Dedric just uses one group as a pawn rather than use his actual forces. What kind of society do you think you want?

Edit: after seeing your ORBAT Honorisia I'm going to make my fleet back to its original size. I was going to make it 5,000 but I thought both your government and rebels had about 10,000 troops so I didn't want to be too overwhelming. Now that you posted numbers a bit bigger, I'm going to raise mine to have the amount of influence in the region I intended.
