In the 'Visperia Revealed' Thread, does any one want to hold the young Prince Caius captive? Willing to buy him off a rogue Low Elf? Might make for some interesting RPing

Yes, rebels only control their camp. Some of the cities (the ones near the rebel camp in Kush) sympathize with the rebels.

Here is my application as a Realm :)

Name of Realm: The Aradi Guild Federation
Description of Realm: The Federation originated in the now defunct Kingdom of Aradi, ruled by the hard-fisted King Olivera Vale. The King at that point was extremely hard on business, and during his rule the economy of Arad slowly grew weaker. Eventually the King was overthrown by the populace, organized and led by a conglomeration of businesses and guild who were sick of his rule. Once the rebellion was successful, a council was formed, made up of the Head of each High Guild in Aradi (The High Guilds representing the ten top business sectors in the Federation. The council was given the job of appointing the next leader and head of what would be from now on the Aradi Royal Family, of what was now officially called the Federation, which took them a month of hard debate. Eventually they decided, and Edward del Marn, Head of the Isladrian Mining Consortium, was chosen. He was quickly coronated and still stands to this day as the King of the Federation. The King is still advised by the council, who are now known as the Council of Ten. The newly made Royal Family is expected to be strong leaders, however they will need to remain open to their council's ideas and suggestions, at the risk of another rebellion.

Because of the Federation's pro-business stance, the nation has become extremely wealthy, and almost completely dedicated to the pursuit of further wealth. This became so popular that a cult was formed (The Cult of Aurum) which has a pantheon of different gods representing each aspect of wealth and trade. If you have the money, you can buy almost anything in Adari, and it is this which attracts the majority of its population, a diverse and varied array of cultures, races and religions.

In Aradi the various High Guilds are similar to the Noble Houses of other nations. People associated with the guilds receive better opportunities and more respect than the average citizen, and these perks increase thee higher up the ranks you get. It is not unknown for a position in within one of the Guilds to be hereditary for a certain family, and the top positions make up the social elite of Aradi. The Head of each High Guild is only second in terms of power, wealth and respect to the King himself.

Demonym: Aradi
Race: There is a massive array of different races in the Federation, however the most numerous is usually thought to be humans, closely followed by dwarves, goblins and elves.
Languages: The massive population, and its variety of cultures means that there is a huge amount of languages spoken within the Federation, however the one used for government administration and business, and most trade deals in the business world, is Achari Cultus.
Religion: The Cult of Aurum is the largest religion in the Federation, however to prevent alienation of any individual creed, there is no official religion.
Head of State: King Edward del Marn
Seat of Power: Ocran
Population: 27 million
RL Fluency in English: Native
Example of previous RP: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=215006

Eh, the dwarves religion is mainly based on worshiping ancestors, past glories, and one or two major god type figures. I still have not decided upon the major god figures yet but they are not terribly influential in comparison to the other two.

Well its a brand-new religion springing up from seemingly nowhere, and thats frightening to more ancient cultures. Plus it doesn't help that this incredibly mysterious god is the one who gave "She" her undead army back. But even if he didn't do that evil action, it's still threatening. Think about when Christianity was spreading in the Roman Empire; it threatened ancient traditions, and was persecuted. Same goes for Mondoru worship.

After gathering together a few friends who operated shops around his, they began the Almeon Trading Company, which was at that point made up of 11 humans. They began their travels by heading into the Grand Armarz, at that point only selling basic foodstuffs and weaponry. There they picked up the majority of their elven companions, to whom the idea of a nomadic travelling company appealed greatly. From there they moved on to the Kingdom of Avalon, where the remainder of the human traders joined up, and the two satyrs also joined in. At this point the numerous traders pushed the company into expanding it's stock, and it became much larger, with five different areas of trade stock (foodstuffs, weaponry and armour, agriculture supplies, medical supplies and herbs, minerals and precious gems) with each area being managed by different races (e.g Humans managing foodstuffs and weaponry, elves managing medical supplies, dwarves managing minerals and precious gems etc.).

It is at this point that the Almeon Company had become well known, almost always welcome in whatever Realm they come across due to their humorous spirit, wide range of goods and happy demeanour. The Traders now seek to journey to new areas, and expand their range of goods so that they are un-rivalled.

Name of group: East Empire Trading Company
Description: The East Empire Trading Company or more commonly referred to as "The East Empire" is a massive monopolistic mercantilist trading company. With holdings in hundreds of territories including barbarian lands where trading posts have kept contact with local populations. Though with many nations it does not officially have a charter they have been known to do business in every country that has not totally cut itself off from trade with outsiders. The company was formed by the House Dominicus during the forming of the Empire of Man; this was to generate large amounts of revenue through unregulated trade to sustain the fledgling country. Yet as years past and as many other beings know man's heart is filled with greed and lust. After some time the people of surrounding countries noticed that the ruling house of the Empire of Man where becoming more and more reclusive and the East Empire becoming more prominent on the world stage. It seemed as though instead of the kings and ruling parties telling the East Empire what to do it was becoming the opposite. The East Empire Trading company's banner flew brilliantly next to those of House Dominicus and the chairman a one, Mr. Pendrew, lived in wealth that rivaled the treasury.

Operating with warehouses scattered about the world the company deals in anything from spices and wine to weapons and armor. Though it is not uncommon for the East Empire Trading company to dabble in things that are illegal in certain regions which allows them to profit from black market trade. Most workers are human due to the fact their headquarters is situated at the capitol of the empire of man. That being said many there still harbor racism and bigotry runs like wild flames about the common rabble. Thus making it improper to have anyone but humans publically running the company.

With all its wealth and power though something is amiss. Mr. Pendrew a brilliant man has some rumors circulating about him. That he has come into contact with Mondoru and many trade dealings are made with his consent. Though this is most likely some lie another rival company has come up with to disrupt dealings. The East Empire continues to compete with other major companies seeking to be a sole supplier of goods.

Demonym: Merchants
Race: Human (Majority)
Head of State: Chairman Pendrew
Seat of Power: Fawnnorth

I hope no one minds that my company is based in the Empire of Man because he/she hasnt been here in awhile. If they do come back and dont like it they can kick me out but for now this will be the source of revenue for the cultists and a means of transporting goods discreetly.

I think you can just make one in the factbook section or in the forums; one of the mods will link it to the main page.

Also, for the Kalrush Civil War thread, I think I just made one of my most epic posts ever :p

Numer id like a trading thread where my East Empire company tries to get an official charter. They have warehouses but an official charter would allow them to bolster the companies strength in your region. You can also spy about their main offices based there and we can have a whole bunch of scenerios play out.

Okay, so I'm seriously considering doing an introductory RP celebrating my nation's first creation anniversary, which also ties in with my largest religion's (Cult of Aurum) holiday. There would be a celebratory banquet which I would invite delegates from all nations to come to, however I just want to see who would be interested?

@Knights of Kings, I would also be interested in doing an RP based around your company's working in the Federation, sound interesting?

I would be all for a thread about trade. If you all haven't noticed I'm trying to gain control of the ocean trade routs with my galleys. I think I might even bribe the pirates of the lands to leave my ships alone, at least until I destroy them.

So anyway which port city is my fleet going to sail into?

I don't think that this post is directed to me, but considering my nation (and group) background I would definitely be up for a trade thread.
