All right, now that Angle's finally edited his prior posts to reflect the various circumstances, I have finally edited mine.

Here's the list of changes:

1) Added the armies to the map, which I shifted south since Angle wanted his army deployed very far in the north of the map.

2) Got rid of the references of Bithius's army, since it's several hours away and won't be there in time for the battle.

3) The cavalry, which was attacking the stragging Bithius troops before, are now attacking Argban's main line.

4) Since Argban's army is neither tired nor reforming as a result of marching quickly and merging with the now nonexistant Bithius, Kamiya now waits a bit to see how Argban responds, rather than march in like he did before.

What do you mean "how much...per person"? Where? For whom? Why are they getting it in the first place? etc. More information needed here.

In terms of growing enough food to support the population. Obviously it will vary depending on land quality, farming methods, and what other food sources might be present (eg hunting and fishing) but a ballpark figure should be possible I expect.

Depends on the crop. Some crops like rice have very dense calorie yields, although rice is also a labor-intensive crop to farm.

Well old stories about the legions talk about them retiring on a acre they inherited from an uncle, so an acre of Italian farmland i guess.

The current crop yield for modern farms with the best techniques, fertilizer, and genetically chosen strains (for rice) is (in round numbers) 7,400 pounds per acre. In medieval Japan, it was judged that a single man could live off an entire year on 330 pounds of rice. Obviously women and children would eat slightly less. Taking into consideration the difference in technology and farming techniques, I would give you the following:

Grains, Cereals, Legume
High Fertility Fields = 4,000 lbs
Medium Fertility Fields = 2,750 lbs
Low Fertility = 1,000 lb

Here is a link for vegetables and berry crops. Its modern, so deduct every yield by 2/3rds or .65% and you would have a close approximation of medieval crop yields per acre.

Yes, they can be balanced by importation. So long as it's pointed out that the realm needs to import extra foodstuffs to make up the deficit.

EDIT:: also edited my force dec to include officers, bodyguards, supply trains, etc. While it did increase the size of the state army by a good chunk, I'm also looking to potentially edit the numbers down, since it seems a more than a little bloated, with a division increasing in size by 30%. It could mean that the Shie troops are always well-fed and know what they're supposed to be doing; officers are guarded well enough that they can commit their bodyguards to the battle line.

Hey everyone, looking into joining this, but however had an inquiry specifically to do with the species map. The realm I planned on creating has major influences from the chronicles of narnia when it comes to species and certain elements which are not on the species maps at all, so how would i deal with that?

If that doesn't work I would probably want to make some group/cult as there are none of those yet, but there doesn't seem to be an app for it.

the species map is mostly used for npc relational purposes. your realm does not have to include them, nor is your realm limited to them.

Name of Realm: New Armarzia
Description of Realm: New Armarzia is cold land, that is slowly freezing, with many secrets trapped beneath the ice. Three separate territories make up the kingdom and a dead land to the north that is claimed, but seemingly uninhabited. To the West lies a number of clans of humans that lie on the coast and sail to raid the surrounding lands for slaves and resources. They keep small farms in their villages, but mostly rely on raiding and fishing for their livelihood. In the center lies the many tribes of trolls united under the banner of one king of the trolls. The trolls, while hostile by nature, are peaceful under the rule of their king. They purchase slaves from the clans of raiders for their own harvests, while they trade the humans slaves off to the minotaurs of the East in exchange for various things. Directly to the north lies a ruthless tribe of humans ruled by a queen who claims dominion over all of New Armarzia. The other territories swear fealty to her and give small amounts of taxes, but are largely unaffected by her rule. She often serves as a representative for all the lands to other realms. However, deep in the tundra lies the lair of the Frozen Witch, an ancient being with many secrets and dark powers at her command. She strives to spread winter throughout the land to spread the black ice that fuels her mystic powers. Each leader of New Armarzia in some way is corrupted or bound to the witch unbeknownst to the rest of the people, she seeks to spread her corruption to other lands as well to either bind them to her rule or strike them in their weakened state. She is willing make deals with others, but she could never truly be an ally to anyone as all are simply tools for her road to dominion, though she knows she needs great help to unlock the secrets hidden beneath the ice.
