Synopsis
Evenstar: The Last Full Measure of Hell is the second story in the Marauder Series, detailing the establishment of the Covenant Priory in Southeast Gholgoth in conjunction with the rise of Lady Calixte to power. It is the sequel to The Daughter of Tsyion, and is a 'reboot' of the original sequel 'The Spirited Maiden'. It continues the story some four months after the conclusion of the events in the preceding episode.
Calixte I Marauder has solidified her grasp on power, using her immense popularity to help rebuild the country in her image after the devastating coup attempt left thousands dead in Tsyion. The nation has only just begun to put the past behind them, and Calixte is desirous to reshape her new empire with a careful eye. Yet behind the scenes, dark forces are at work that seek to rekindle the Hellish tempest that was loosed upon Azura during the dueling coup attempts. There are those that seek to bring desecration and devastation unto the People of Azura, and topple the reign of the 'Evenstar of the New Covenant'. If the Covenant of Calixte is to survive, she must confront her worst fears before the fear devours an uneasy peace in the land.
At the moment, the roleplay is semi-open, specifically to nations of Gholgoth and The League of Imperial Nations. However, those nations outside of these three regions that have an interest in participating can telegram me or post here and discuss ideas moving forward. The big draw for most people will be marriage of Calixte and Dariea, which will be the overriding backdrop of the action. There will also be a very large military operation near the end that will entail the participation of allies interested in joining up. More details will be shared here as we go along, so bear with me as we get this thing up and running.
Characters
Several of the main characters from The Daughter of Tsyion will be making their return here. Lady Calixte will be back as the primary focus of the storyline, as will her new fiancée Dariea. Former Chancellor Riavan Grivas makes a return in an expanded role, filling the void left by General Viktor Valeria, whose untimely death in the buildup to Evenstar leaves a great void which is explored in depth at the start of the roleplay. A pair of characters who were introduced in proverbial cameos in The Daughter of Tsyion return for the sequel in vastly expanded roles, as the backgrounds of Commander Natalya Simovic and the brooding Inquisitor Nemesis play a major role moving forward. In addition, a host of new characters shall be introduced as well; all of whom will play a major role moving forward in the events of the series.
