You are saying these things don't work that way, but this is billions of miles away from earth where a far more advanced species lived on a planet with totally unknown materials and laws of physics. You cannot compare the types of weapons and sciences my species uses when their tech defies human science.

Ivan, several things. From my guy reaction standpoint, no no no no. Why? Because despite "OMGADVANCED" and "SCIENCE!" explanations, the basic principles of science stand. Principles like thermodynamics and the like. Yes, we can compare the two, too bad.

On a more RPing perspective, if you expect to operate completely out of the framework of other RPers, then how the heck are going to manage to RP with them!? It is like OMG said somewhere in the Advice thread, you can have time-slowing fighter anti-missile interceptors, but to someone else who wants to incorporate something similar or counter that thing, they have to be able to. That interceptor could easily be a drone fighter with advanced computing in someone else's tech base, or be destroyed by some missile in another.

I don't remember everything said but k vaguely recall stuff about physics and what we know about how things work now. Basically this defense will never be logical because it is totally within the realm of imagination to perceive what different races can achieve in the future. What we humans know now is what works, and the FT community tends to stick to this. Anyone who strays from that become immediate targets for ridicule and good constructive criticism. I'm still hearing about my fuck ups lol. This community NEVER forgets. Ever. Am I wrong?

Well, I think you remembered it a tad harshly, but yeah I think it went along those lines. I don't quite remember.

Although, how you put it sounds quite a bit like the FT-Community only goes for Hard FT, which with OMG and WH40K around, doesn't really seem to be the case IMO. I do remember something about respecting science, and if you want to do something silly, use technobabble or something, but at the same time, don't make the technobabble in such a way that it is impossible for others to counter or the like.

I will have one more thread with a Pavlostani Collective. It will be called the Great Pavlostani Rebellion. Inesea, I'll mention your role in this tomorrow. Basically, in a battle between me and Inesea, an explosion ruptures the Collective, allowing the fighting Unimatrix (Unimatrix-003) to fracture off into a new Unimatrix (Unimatrix-007). The new group will not be reliant on the Collective, and will begin a Pavlostani Civil War. You guys can join either side. In the end, the rebels will win, and form a new nation, the Federation of Pavlostani, which will be a far cry from the Borg.
