Okay, so my first message is backdated. How long does it take ships/airships to travel lengthy distances---for example, from Mishmahig to Voerdeland?

Well, not very fast. Most of my fastest (non-racing) airships have a top speed of about 51 km/h, with a cruising speed of about 38 km/h and they're supposed to be state-of-the-art. Just estimate the distance they'll be flying and crunch the numbers.

Is it supposed to actually be them, or are you setting things up for a sort of mistaken identity situation? Because, since I'm controlling the New Republic, it would be godmodding to have them attack you without at least running it by me first, whether it be here or via TG. If that's what you want to do, I think I can make it work.

Make it the old. That way we'll have two nations for the new, two for the old, and one just doing something for the lulz. Plenty of chances to heighten tensions ahead of the 1910 war.

Psh, by the time you get nukes, Mishmahig will be in space, having relocated to the Moon. :D

Also, I'm going to try and get a post up on the Fire and Madness thing. I think Rosswood and the Black Isles are dead though, however.

lol you conquered in a loop? Also, i suggest ya show the military groups and divisions that will go to the areas you're invading. Furthermore, it'd be good for you to split up your forces (not too much as to spread your troops to have to cover so many areas) so that you can flank and such.

When you've seen my war plans/practice engagements, you see how i direct my forces and move them to flanking positions. Of course, none of this actually shows the movements of enemy forces either so obviously it's just plans.

EDIT to Sri Tschow: OKIE DOKIE THEN.

I think attaining enlightenment is more complex than sitting under a tree and thinking of nothing. I'm quite sure you are maybe simplifying it just a bit... :p

Did you include me in that assessment? I will not be coming in for either side, but instead protecting threatened minorities, aiding in the evac of foreigners, offering aid, and trying to make the other factions make peace.

when you look at the culture of Thailand, then you'll accept when i say that i was an ordained monk (well, mini monk, or monk in training), so during that period of my life, i had to learn about the history of Buddhism. And so, i had to deal with what they've said about it, but right when i got out of it, i practically said "nope that doesn't make sense to me".

No, I did not. That would make two nations for, two against, one doing something for the lulz, one working as peacekeepers, and one up to insidious plots that it vaguely hints at in the IC posts.

Hmm...after the RR thread, i said that i had a 100,000 man force surrounding the V-land region (and it seems acceptable that that many people could get there in around 5 years or so). Would it be godmodding if i sent the entire garrison up there to liberate V-land?

EDIT: hmmm...thinking bout somethin....

Actually, I don't really care, Inoroth IC probably will feel that they share your goals as long as your "official" reason for being there is to make both sides stop fighting. That said, I think that a move like that is bound to make the rest of the world kinda hate ya... They're All Schemers after all. plus it might kinda kill the RP.

(EDIT*) I though you said 1,000,000, not 100,000 soldiers... I am even more ok with it then :)

Well, I'll probably doing a sort of invasion too however since our mainland is big enough, we have no reason to conquer it. In which case, I'll have my troops protect and extract the V-land refugees and make them Xecuiian citizens while still allowing them to retain their culture. Since we're doing this, it's most likely we'll have run-ins with the westerners so obviously firefights and battles will break out. Although i don't know how many western soldiers there are in total. If it gets too crazy, likely chances are that i will increase the amount of soldiers engaging in V-land. It won't kill the RP if you have just the right amount of shit going down.

so wait, you are kidnapping extracting foreigners trapped in Voerdenland and holding them against their will with no prospect of escape allowing them the generous gift of keeping their culture while they settle into their new homes? Just leave all Inorothians alone and we might not find out about it...
